Chapter 83

Chris’s POV

“What do you mean that I can’t come see my wife?” I ask the old Alpha angrily.

“I mean that you can’t see her.” He reiterates.

“She’s my wife. I should be able to see her whenever I want. Now, go get her and tell her that I am here.”

I’m fuming that they are keeping her from me. I know what I did was wrong. I know that she is probably angry. At least, I am hoping that she is just angry. After waking up with a massive headache, and remembering what I did last night, I had to come. I need to see that she is okay.

“I’m afraid that I can not do that, your majesty.”

“I know that she’s angry. Please, just tell her to let me apologize.” I ask, again.

“She can’t come to you right now, your majesty.”

“Is she alright?” I ask, worried that maybe there is more to it than anger.

“I honestly can’t tell you, your majesty.”

“What do you mean that you can’t tell me?” I explode. I’m about to lose my mind. “Why can’t you tell me if she is alright?”
