Noah wasn't in the mood to celebrate this, he leaned against the rock formation and breathed in and out repeatedly. He did this for five minutes, his heartbeat decreased and the exhaustion threatened to knock him unconscious but he couldn't allow this. Still, a quick rest would not be bad. As he closed his eyes for a moment, the sound of rushing water nearby caught his attention. Curiosity piqued, he stood up slowly and made his way towards the sound, eager to discover its source. The cool breeze that accompanied the sound refreshed him, making him feel more alive than he had in days.
Noah's determination to find the source of the water grew stronger with each step he took, his fatigue momentarily forgotten in the face of this new mystery.
Noah stumbled towards the small pond in the middle of the cavern, the promise of cool water a beacon in his haze of exhaustion.
