It's always you

Aldrick looked at Reneé and then Amélie in despair, as he couldn't see both of his sisters crying at the same time. He wanted to console both of them and was deciding which way to go, when everyone present in the clearing felt a shift in the energy that Dae Jung, Ho-jin and Ji-hun were feeling.

He noticed how Zacharie's expression started changing; he moved ahead to hold Amélie at once. He said reassuringly "Trust me, if it's not you, then remember this for sure that nobody else will be in your place. It was you, it is you and it will always be you. And at this point, I don't even know how many times I have repeated this sentence, but I am repeating it once again- Zacharie only belongs to Amélie. We were fated to be, we are fated to be together, and we will be fated to be that way in each and every lifetime, in all Universes, in all dimensions. We are not two different souls living in two different bodies, we are parts of one soul. We are the complementary parts of each other; why can't you understand the fact that we won't survive without each other? We need to be together to survive...to breathe...to live...to-"

"Don't forget what else we are fated for!" Amélie interrupted him, continuing with an accusatory tone. "Have you even considered the pain we have to go through after that?" She managed to speak out between her sobs.

Zacharie wanted to convey something but he was still trying to find the words for it, when Aldrick spoke, moving forward to hug her. "Don't trust this moron, he doesn't know what he is saying either. Just keep in mind, that he will be the first one to cave in just after one meeting with you. No matter how tough he wants to present himself as, the reality is that he is a total softy!"

Zacharie gritted his teeth, putting it on display that he was miffed by the statement, while everyone else knew that he was just trying to act tough. He spoke up in mock anger, "What do you mean by saying that I cave first? It is always your sister who saves my life, so tell me which one of us really gives in first?"

"STILL YOU!" Everyone, apart from Amélie spoke together and started laughing, giving some much needed reprieve after the crying session and especially to both the girls who needed to be comforted.

Ivan and Jasper hugged Reneé, speaking in soothing tones. "It was nobody's fault- not hers, not yours, and not anybody else's. It was just the work of fate, but I know one thing: that even though the fate might repeat itself, it always brings something good and bad along with it, due to which the story has slight changes in every timeline. So don't just imagine the worst, it will be better this time."

"But...but-" Reneé tried to speak in between her hiccups. "But he was saying that he will just walk past her! I am gonna beat him up, doesn't he know that Nitya would never be able to get feelings for anybody else in the world, how can he-"

Zacharie cut her off in the middle, saying "Relax, Reneé! I know you feel like killing the poor boy right now, and I believe the same instinct will be there in Surbhi as well. But don't you guys know him? He is saying all this because he has already fallen for her! And let me remind you that there is still a percent of probability that Nitya can fall for someone else, but Ji-hun never will, the reason being the kilometer-long list of requirements that the both of them carry with them at all times. The fact that both of them have such a long list of the qualities of their future partner is there for a purpose, as they have just written down each other's character sketch without even knowing that the other person exists! And Ji-hun already loves her more than he had ever imagined, than he can ever imagine. He is not even able to define his own feelings to himself, therefore he just wants to get rid of these because he doesn't know how to deal with them, considering that he hasn't even met her yet. Just wait and see how Nitya will react, as she has the qualities of my Amélie! And if anybody present here has forgotten how she had reacted before finally accepting her feelings for me, then let me remind you all-"

Everyone started smiling, while Amélie tried to cover Zacharie's mouth so that he couldn't speak anything further. But she was not successful in her task and Zacharie started his precap.

Dae Jung and Ho-jin looked at Ji-hun with worry and disappointment mixed in with a little panic as they knew he might as well be crowned as the king of stubbornness. Once he decided on something, he never changed his own decision, no matter how badly the consequences of that decision were hurting him.

Ho-jin made up his mind instantaneously, as he needed to do something about it before the situation got worse. He gathered all his courage and spoke "Hyung, relax. We don't even know exactly who this girl is and where she lives, we only have-"

"INDIA." Ji-hun replied in between in a matter-of-fact tone, without thinking or taking any pause.

Ho-jin and Dae Jung looked at him with their mouths opened; after some moments, Ho-jin gathered his wits about him and asked "How- how do you know that she is from India? Even I don't know her country or her ethnicity, so how do you know this?" Dae Jung just nodded to signal that he had the same doubt as Ho-jin, he still wasn't able to find any words.

"I don't know how I know this, but I just know this. I don't know what I know, and I don't know what I am supposed to do, and what not! I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ANYMORE, SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME! Please make these feelings go away!" Ji-hun screamed, bowing his head in frustration as he cradled it in both of his hands.

Just after Nitya was done with the call , Ruchi glanced at her with an curious look in her eyes. She stood there, waiting for an answer but unable to decide whether or not she should ask her about it.

That was when Nitya spoke on her own, "He was a new classmate of mine. And no professor, why do you think that something is not right between me and my friends? Have we perhaps done something that has unintentionally offended you? And if we did cause any kind of offense, I am extremely sorry on their behalf as well."

Nitya looked up as she completed her sentence and Ruchi knew that she meant each word of the apology she had just said, but that was not what she had wanted. Just as she was going to say something further, Mehul strode into the room saying, "Nikku! Be happy kiddo, you will be discharged by tomorrow- but with strict instructions and tough supervision. And remember that I am always going to be there to keep an eye on you!"

"And then who is gonna keep an eye on me?" A sweet voice echoed in the room and everybody turned to look in the direction of the sound, to find a girl standing at the entrance of the room .
