Chapter seven

" ok, I'm going for my English class" Ariana told Beatrice as they parted. " I better get my textbook" Ariana said to herself as she headed towards her locker.

" Attention attention attention students" that was the speaker from the principal's office. " Immediately after lunch break, all students are expected to assemble in the school hall for a brief meeting with me" the principal said.

" I wonder why Mr Shawn has called us" Ariana thought aloud.

" I guess it's as a result of the missing lunch" Cassandra, Ariana's classmate said.

" Hmmmm. Don't you think it's a little strange that the school lunch supply has been going missing for the past few days and the thief hasn't being caught out?"

" Hmmm, I agree. Come let's head for English class together." Cassandra told her.

" Hmmmm. Let me get my textbook" she said and got her textbook. " Strange, I don't remember putting this here." She said after seeing a letter.

" Ari, we're running late" Cassandra told her.

" Hey Casey, did you put a letter in my locker?" Ariana asked.

" No. I didn't, read what it says" Cassandra told her.

" It says meet me at the cafeteria at table seven" Ariana told Cassandra.

" Hmmmm. Let's get to class. " Cassandra said dragging Ariana.

" And that's the end of the class" the English teacher dismissed them after the sound of the bell.

" Hey Casey, Casey" Ariana woke Casey who'd slept the whole class long.

" Is the class over" Cassandra asked rubbing her eyes.

" Yeah. You just slept the class off." Ariana scolded.

" Did you not notice how boring that class was or are you just pretending?" Cassandra asked packing her bags.

" Come with me to the cafe." Ariana said

" Why? I have a boyfriend" Cassandra said.

" I just wanna know who left the letter behind" Ariana said.

" Ok , let's go" Cassandra said as they walked out of the class.

 At the cafeteria, Casey and Ariana stood at the door waiting to see who'd sit at table seven. Well, table seven wasn't an ordinary table. Those who sat there were very special. They got served first and they received lots of massage which made Ariana believe that it was one of the big boys.

" Hey look someone's going" Casey said trying to get her attention.

" Who?" Ariana asked

" Raymond left the letter" Casey said and fell unconscious.

" Casey, Casey, someone help" Ariana called out .

" What's going on" a student asked.

" I don't know. She just passed out" Ariana explained.

"Someone get some water" Beatrice said running her fingers through her hair.

" Here you go" a junior student said giving her the water.

" Thanks" she said and splashed the water over Casey.

" Aah. Ari, Ari....and the whole school is looking at me" Casey said sitting up.

" What happened?" Beatrice asked.

" Nothing. She just felt tired" Ariana lied.

" Um, Ariana can I talk to you for a minute?" Beatrice asked.

" Sure." Ariana said as they both walked out if the cafeteria.

" Now tell me, what happened?" Beatrice asked.

" Well, the thing is...." She was interrupted.

" You don't need to lie. I'm your best friend" Beatrice said.

" Listen, I'm not ready to tell you anything but when I'm ready, I'll tell you.
