Chapter 80

He took his phone and called Ariana but it wasn't going through.

What was happening? Why would Ariana's phone not go through?

He sighed as he laid back on his bed. Something was not right.

Casey!! He remembered. He took his phone and called her.

" Hi Raymond" she greeted.

" Hi Cassandra, where's Ariana?" He asked.

" Oh, the principal asked her to get some things" she said.

" Alone?"

" No. She went with Nicolas" Casey said.

Immediately Casey said Nicolas' name, Raymond's heart skipped a beat.

She was with Nicolas. He hung up the phone in annoyance.

" What a strange man he is" Casey thought to herself.

Raymond paced around the room, something about Nicolas did not sit well with him. He sighed before pouring himself a glass of water. He was about to drink up when he heard a beep from his phone, indicating there was a message.

He dropped the glass on the table before going to check who the message was from. It was from Ariana. Phew!!

He took the phone and read the content of the message and smiled, it read:

Hi Raymond, how are you doing? Just checking up on you. I didn't wanna say this in the presence of everyone but I think I know why you ate the mangoes. The truth is, you knew right from the start that you were allergic to those kinds of mangoes but you still ate them for my sake. I feel so guilty. I hope you are doing fine now. I have some pictures I took of you while you were unconscious and I must say, you look hot. Imagine me chuckling.

And please, if you get this message, can you please give me a call? A video call. I'm sure your hair must be all smooched up since you're just waking up, I wanna see it. 

Raymond chuckled. The message came with some pictures and he scrolled through them.

The first was the one they'd taken when they first arrived on camp.

The following was a picture of him, unconscious. Even though he was unconscious, Ariana was still giving him a kiss, on the lips.

He chuckled as he went through the other pictures.

He didn't need anyone to tell him, he had a crazy girlfriend.

" Hey, what are you waiting for? Do I have to remind you to thank me for the pictures?" Ariana asked in a text.

Raymond smiled, " I have to call her, else my phone might just die from Ariana"

He opened his caller I.D and video called Ariana.

Ariana smiled after seeing his call that came in, " I knew you'd call" she muttered.

She quickly picked the call.

" Hello there boyfriend" she said with a smile, a smile that made the butterflies in Raymond's stomach go haywire.

" So, how is camp?" Raymond asked.

" What should I say?" Ariana said as she scratched the back of her head.

" Boring?" Raymond asked and chuckled.

" Yeah. This place sucks without you" she said.

" Oh come on, it's only being a few hours since I left" Raymond said.

" Yeah I know but I still miss you. Casey's always busy with Tony, Beatrice keeps trying to talk to me, Nicolas is always following me around like a guard and Max......."

" What did that fool do to you?" Raymond asked.

" Nothing, just that..." She thought for a while, it wouldn't be a good idea, " it's nothing, don't worry so tell me, how are you feeling now?" She asked.

" I'm better. All I had to do was get some rest" Raymond said .

" So I was right, you did have some sleep" she said.

" Yeah, but you were wrong about my hair being all smooched" he said.

She chuckled, " I guess I can be wrong".

They chatted for a while and were both happy.

" Okay then, I'll call you later. It's almost six, I have to get showered" Ariana told him.

" Don't tell me there's a bathroom in camp" he was surprised.

" Not really. There's just water supply. It's not really covered"

Raymond was confused, " so you're gonna be naked openly"

" Not really. I'll be on a swimsuit"

" So it means you're swimming" he asked.

" Technically" she said and they both burst into laughter.

" Alright then, will call you later" Raymond said.

" Love you, bye" Ariana said and blew him a kiss.

" Love you too" Raymond said and the call disconnected.

He smiled, he still had his girlfriend, now he could get some rest.
