Chapter 71

Ariana laid on her bed, tired. It had being a very stressful day.

PS: a surprise party was thrown for her after she got back from school.

She smiled as she took out her phone and looked at the pictures taken earlier, she couldn't have gotten a better birthday. She held her phone close to her heart signifying that the memories she'd made today, would last forever.

She got off the bed as she took off the purple lace mini gown she was wearing. She opened her cupboard and took out a towel before dashing into the bathroom to freshen up.

She came out after freshening up and she combed her hair even though it was still wet.

She slid into her night gown before putting on her robe. She smiled, this was one of the best birthdays ever, she had a new boyfriend, a new family, a surprise party and a real bestie.

She fell lazily on the bed as she gazed at the rotating fan.

" I don't know what I've done to deserve all this but I must say, if eating apples can bring this much luck to me, then I'm willing to eat it every day" she said as she chuckled to herself.

She took out her phone as she texted Raymond, "hi" she sent.

Meanwhile, Raymond was in his room. He was towel drying his hair when he heard a beep from his phone. He dropped his towel as he grabbed his phone to see who was texting, he didn't have many friends after all.

He saw the text from Ariana and smiled, his new girlfriend was already missing him. He chuckled as he replied with  ' hey birthday girl, or should I say girlfriend?' he texted and added a smiley emoji.

After hearing the beep, Ariana quickly took her phone and replied him, 'ha ha, very funny'. Immediately Raymond got the text, he smiled to himself and just like that, both couples started chatting happily.

It was only when Ariana saw the door of the room creak and Cassandra walked in that she dropped the phone beside her.

Casey chuckled, " if it's Raymond, then tell him good night because we have to arrange for tomorrow's camping" Casey said as she pulled a suitcase into the room.

Ariana chuckled, Casey now knew her inside out.

" Fine, I'll text him good night" she said as she typed a good night to him before throwing her phone back to the bed.

Casey opened the suitcase and it was filled with different camping materials.

" All this just for a week's camping?" Ariana asked, surprised by the amount of materials Casey had with her.

Casey rolled her eyes and groaned " no dummy, these are the things we should select from, I just ordered it. Well dad did but you know what I mean" she said took out some things.

Ariana bent and started selecting the things she felt they'd be needing the most. She selected a mosquito repellent, body lotion, soap and some pillows; camp grounds weren't fluffy. Casey alongside Ariana selected some things and at the end of the day, they selected enough things to sustain them for the whole week. Casey informed Ariana that Mr and Mrs Lambert had dropped some money for them. They packed their clothes and materials into two school bags and Ariana kept one for herself while Casey kept the other.

Ariana arranged her bed before going to lie on it while Casey arranged hers.

Ariana laid on her bed as she tucked herself in. She looked at the wall clock, it was past eleven and Casey was already fast asleep but she was finding it hard to sleep.

She rolled on the bed trying to find some sleep but she couldn't. She got off the bed as she went into the bathroom and washed her face. She looked at herself in the mirror, what was going on with her?

She cleaned her face with a towel and headed back to the room. She laid on the bed and tucked herself in before closing her eyes even though she wasn't feeling sleepy.

In time, she fell asleep.

" Sir, I'm telling the truth. You saw the video, Ariana was making out with that guy" a red haired girl accused.

" Sir, I promise. I didn't do anything, please believe me"  Ariana cried.

" Do you have proof to support your claim that you aren't the one in the video?" Mr Shawn asked.

She sobbed, he was right. The girl had proof against her but she didn't have any to claim innocence. She fell to the ground in tears.

" I'm sorry Ariana, but on the basis of making out under school guidance, I'm being forced to expell you" Mr Shawn said.

" No sir, please don't do this, I'm innocent" Ariana cried as the principal walked out on her.

" Aaaaaaah" Ariana screamed as she got out of bed. She just had a terrible nightmare. She took a glass of water and gulped it down in a go.

What sort of dream was that? 

Throughout the night, Ariana couldn't sleep. Her thoughts kept on drifting back to the nightmare.
