ch3 The ghost and memories of Eris stanely

Etherel woke up in the underworld and sensed a soul behind her. She looked back and saw a young woman in the same dress as her.

Then Eris spoke " you and I both died…you manage to survive by obtaining my body after you died in your first life due to your weak body."

Etherel shock was written all over her face " WHAT?? DIED!? I DIED??.... Impossible..." Etherel started to felt her heart breaking as she thought ' what about my family?? My little brother Lucas?? How about grandmother Astrea??? My disciple Osiris??' Etherel's whole body start to tremble the more she thought of her family.

Eris look at her and responded " Although you have a weak body in your past life, you manage to be rebirth due to your strong energy that was once suppressed"

Etherel look at Eris and spoke : "So that means my body didn't survive yet my soul somehow manages to rebirth?? Out of all people is there a reason why I got transfer my soul into your body???" Eris looked at her and responded

" That was because you and me are the same person…." Etherel felt stunned and question Eris " h-how!? Are we the same person!?" Eris looked at her and spoke " We're the same person from different timeline. Unlike me, you have strong spiritual energy. I was just a normal human while you're came from a family with the same strong spiritual pressure. "

Etherel was surprised about all sudden information that she receives and think deeply about the current situation she was in. Few moments later she calm down herself and regain her composure, she thought ' since I took the risk to shift into a reality, which caused me to lost my life then I will have no choice but to deal with any consequence that may come in my way'.

Etherel turn her gaze back the Eris and asked : " how did you know that I was a witch in my past life??"

Eris responded : "the moment I die, I have visions about you and I even heard some people call out your name, which turns out to be your family. Even though I heard their voices, I never manage to open my eyes. I came into a conclusion that the body I currently in was dead. I heard their cries and I think they already put you in a funeral. I had visions again of you in my body, the moment you woke up was that time I am watching you… you seem to acquire a fragment of my memory sine you had sign the divorce papers with my full name "

Etherel looked at her and continue to ask questions : " then how can I acquire the other more fragments of your memory?" Eris looked at her and sigh : " I will give you all the memories I had when I am alive. Although I warn you that you will be surprised of how different I am to you despite being the same person in different realities." Eris stood in front of Etherel and spoke " since you need my memories to survive the world I live in; I will give them to you now ."

"wah-wah!!" a little baby voice cried out. Hilda Stanely held her daughter in her arms " my baby… are you hungry> "

Esther found herself standing in a child's room and saw a mother holding a baby in her arms. Hilda took out a bottle with milk, then feeds her daughter. She spoke in a gentle tone : "My little Eris, you need to keep your body strong to become healthy. Me and your dad will teach you how to keep your body fit once you grow up."

Etherel realizes that she was inside in one of Eris's memories.

Etherel felt her surrounding changed. She saw the 6-year-old Eris was getting bullied by her schoolmates. Until one young handsome boy saved her. the boy had dark chocolate hair and a pair of navy midnight eyes. Maverick Gallen helps little Eris up from the ground. He gave her a medicine kit then a whistle. He looked at her and spoke : " blow this whistle! if anyone tries to Beat you up again! The school guard will notify since this is police property use for giving signal when one is in trouble."

Little Eris looked at the boy with admiration in her eyes. Ever since that day she thought of him as her ' knight and shining armor.' Etherel watched the scene in front of her, her surroundings began to change again. This time she was in another classroom. A group of girls formed a circle around little Eris, they spoke " you have lion-like messy hair!!! Did you seriously thought that Maverick Gallen will be Interested is some woman who looks like a Wild girl!!!?? HAHAHAHAH" All of the girls surrounding little Eris has made fun of her wavy dry hair. Little Eris' eyes started to water, soon tears started to fell down from her face. As Etherel saw this scene in front of her she felt soft hearted and wanted to hug little Eris.

However, the scene in front of her started to change again before she could even reach to hug the little Eris,

Etherel's surrounding ended up in the entrance of high school. She then saw Eris hanging out with delinquents. Eris learn to fight back from the insults of her classmate by scaring them. She hangout with a group of delinquents who skip class and who was worse than a normal bully who only attacks people verbally. She always carries a baseball bat in her bag.

Eris was known as "The wild girl" in school. That was because she is known as violent, hot tempered and have messy thick hair. She has the courage to skip class than most of the students in that school. She earns a bad reputation in her high school years and since no one came to stop her. She grew up having those bad qualities for years until she reaches adulthood. Etherel was stunned as she looks at the crazy expression Eris had as she beat up the girl who spreader a rumor about her in online. The girl got hit in the head using the baseball bat and almost lost her life. the rumor the girl posted was that : " breaking news: Eris Stanely daughter of the old famous Hilda Stanely was selling her body for 3000" then a pictures of what It seem like Eris with her faced haven't shown, with an old man holding her waist.

The picture and the lie the girl posted made Eris enraged. She handles the situation violently and was sent to the guidance office for her violent actions.

Etherel remember some parts of her mom in Eris. She thought, ' my mother and her had the same temper. Both of my mother and her have one thing in common, which is how both of them don't know how to deal with their own emotions, which resulted into violent actions'

Etherel watched the scene before it changes one again. Once the scene has changed.

This time Etherel has already graduated. She is now 21 years' old. This time Etherel got transferred into a lake.

[!!!!!!!] she felt her feet in the cold water of the lake. She heard a splashing noise and found Eris saving an unconscious man in the lake. Etherel find the man familiar and realizes It was Maverick Gallen.

Eris was just talking a walk in the amusement park when she came across a figure floating in the lake. Since the lake is located far away from people, nobody seems to saw the floating man

on the lake. Eris really never had any interest to save this an until she recognizes his clothes made up from Expensive materials. She thought ' This man must come from a wealthy family…. if I save him…I can be rewarded and bring wealth to my family' .

After thinking it through, she finally made a decision to jump in the lake and save the man. She swam over to him and carried him in her back. When she successfully placed him out of the water, she flips him over and saw his face. He has sharp defined jawline; he has slim nose that is shaped in a perfect way. He is somehow similar to the looks of a young king. Eris felt her cheeks heating up, as she thought ' T-this man.... i-I will be giving him a CPR!! I need to save him! i have to calm down.' Eris keep blushing as she leans in close to his face, when she was about to Give him CPR…

[ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!] The man shot a cold and deadly gaze at her, he immediately wrapped his hands on her neck. He harshly shouted at her " HOW DARE YOU TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME WHEN I AM IN A VULNERABLE STATE!!!!!" Eris got caught off guard and got thrown to the side by Maverick Gallen.

Eris felt pain on her back : " N-no! y-you misunderstood!!!! I tried saving your life!! I have no evil thoughts about you!"

Maverick kept his icy gaze and asked " Then what were you leaning in your face for?? In one more inch you Actually almost pressed your disgusting lip against mine?"

Eris finally noticed something familiar about the man in front of her…'his navy midnight eyes" ... she faintly whispered : "Maverick Gallen is that you??" As soon as he heard his name being called by the woman. He turned to her with wary gaze and he immediately asked : " how did you know my name?? who are you??"

Eris slowly felt nervous…after all she was her first love and her crush for years. She then responded " I-i... My name is Eris Stanely…. we once met when it was the first day of my elementary years. You were the one who save me from the first group of kids that bullied me." Eris then took out a whistle from her pocket and show it to him " you gave me this to protect myself if someone dares the mess up with me again.

Maverick stared at the whistle and remembered a girl few years ago. Maverick's cold stare slowly turn back to normal. He decided to forget what happened earlier since he thought he doesn't have any evidence that she tried to take advantage of him, plus he managed to get out of the water thanks to her.

Etherel watched the scene and thought ' I wonder if these two people were once fell in love? If not, then how did they manage to get married? 'Suddenly the Etherel got into a new place.

This time she was in The Gallen family's mansion. Earlier ago she has left after she got divorce with Maverick but now, she found herself in the same place. Except this time have a different purpose.

Etherel watched Eris talked to Elowen. The grandmother of Maverick was looking at her with anger : " how dare you took advantage of my grandson!!! And still claim that you're innocent!! The news of him getting pictures by a paparazzi with you have spread in the internet!"

Elowen fiercely slapped Eris's cheek. Eris felt pain on her cheek but she endured it. She looked at Elowen straight in the eyes and responded : "someone drug me and put me in that room. When I was drinking wine with my friends in the club, I suddenly felt dizzy. My mind was blurry and when I left the table of my friends to head into the bathroom. I was pushed left and right since there were a lot of people. As my body began to feel hot I successfully and entered the bathroom. I wash my face with cold water from the tap. Then suddenly someone knock me out. They attack me from behind and for unknown reason they must have placed me in Maverick's room. Elder Madam Gallen… I was framed!! and perhaps it is related to-"

Elowen cut her off : " Enough with the excuses!!!!!! You and him will publicize a marriage today!! You will marry him for the sake of his reputation!!"

Maverick's eyes darkened, a storm brewing in his eyes. He answered coldly " I don't want to marry some whore and brainless woman who is easy to fell into the trick of someone " He turned around and left the room.

Etherel got transferred into a new memory. It was still in the Gallen family's mansion except in a different timeline.

The timeline seems to be during the marriage between Eris and Maverick.

The scene shows how maverick never came back into the mansion unless Elowen has called him or whenever he receives the news that Victoria came to visit the Gallen family's mansion. He treated Eris like an insignificant statue. On the other hand, Eris tried to soften his stone heart .

Victoria has a lot of talents and skills. Playing the instruments like the Piano were one of her talents. She was also favored by every member of the Gallen family, unlike her, Eris hasn't had captured the spotlight or even kind gazes from the Gallen family. she does understand the reason why but she continuously tries her best to please the Gallen family.

The only way she can do that was doing chores in the mansion each day. Although the Gallen family look down on her, the servants o the Gallen family was close with her.

The first time she came into the mansion, the servants were wary about her after they heard the news. However, when they interact with her and observe how Eris was genuine in repaying back the Gallen family by doing anything they asked. They didn't seem to be uncomfortable with her like in the past.

Out of all servants in the house the head maid was the one whom was kind to her from the beginning to the end. Ms. Hannah was like a 2nd mother to her. For the past years of her loveless marriage, the head maid, Ms. Hannah was her emotional support. One time when she got into a fever, Ms. Hannah was the only servant that take care of her.

Eris always came to visit Maverick's office to bring him food. The first time she bring him food, he immediately throw it in the trashcan and spoke in a harsh tone after Eris left the office : " Colton, don't ever let her bring me the foods she makes, in case if there was a suspicious ingredient she applied on them."

Eris practice her skill on playing the violin, she practiced cooking skills and even self-care practices for her appearance. She done everything she often did not usually do. For the first time in her life, she acted like a puppet to the Gallen family, she disregards her own self just to soften that man's stone heart.

Until the day she died...

October 31 2022 [ FLASHHH!!!!!!!!!}

Etherel was in in the room of Eris. She looked around and saw Eris on the balcony. She walked over her side and notice her eyes have deep dark circles on it. She somehow became more tin.

Etherel watched her smoke as tears fell down her face…. she suddenly laughs sarcastically and spoke " for almost all years of my life I spend my time loving someone who ended up hurting me the most in the end…. I wasted my time, energy as if I sold my soul to the Gallen family..."

her eyes show a hurtful expression : " My biggest regret that I ever did in my whole life, is to lose myself for just a man who hates me…. I should have given all those love to myself…. It made me lose everything after getting married into a family of monsters!"

Eris continue to cry. Suddenly Ethrel saw a mysterious hooded person suddenly pushed Eris off of the balcony.

However, that person's face is blurred.

Since she is the memory of Eris she thought ' Eris haven't remember what the killer looked like.' Etherel heard Eris last thought the moment she fell down

' I c-can't believe I am going to die.... I haven't gotten my freedom from my loveless marriage… I can't die'

Etherel suddenly opened her eyes and she found herself laid down in a hospital bed. She then suddenly heard the cute little boy's voice from her side " U-uncle Noah!! Pretty auntie is awake!!"
