Encounter: The Rising of Luna

Eratonium, the most precious and powerful stone of the whole realm finally chooses its owner, a young eighteen-year-old werewolf girl who doesn't know anything about it and the evil world revolving around her. She has to find her rightful mate on her own and crack the mystery of her pack's destruction and her parent's disappearance. This is the story of her journey from being the weakest to the strongest Luna, her journey of falling, betrayals finding her rightful mate, and being able to protect the werewolf world. Disclaimer: This is a werewolf story but also has a lot of magic involved in it. As this is fantasy story, I would request readers not to search for facts. It's solely the imagination of my mind. Please don't forget to vote with your power stones cause it's an Eratonium for me and comment on the story. That's a motivation. Have a nice reading. Thank you!!!

Chapter 14

Third Person's POV:

"Simon! I need you urgently here." Ashlyn calls Simon in a hurry. Simon is in the middle of training and he gets a bad feeling about this. Yes, he is thinking that something is wrong in the annex.

"Everyone! I have a few jobs to take care of. So, I am leaving you all for self-training today. Make sure you leave the ground only when you are completely done with your training. Do you get that?" The beta instructs and commands in a loud voice.

"Yes, Beta!!!" Everyone answers loudly. Beta Simon is in charge of training all the wolves of the pack. Although there is significant division in the pack, there are no restrictions in the training. All of the wolves are trained so, they can fight for the pack at the time of emergency. The facilities and services are biased as per their designations though.

Simon runs from there towards the annex as fast as he can. Unlike, other wolves, he, being one of the strongest wolves of the pack has the fastest speed and senses. He reaches the annex which is almost three kilometres away from the habitat of the pack, in just three minutes. A kilometer in a minute is not a joke.

"Simon!" Ashlyn looks restless.

"What's wrong? Is she alright?" he asks.

"Is she alright? Is that the first thing that you ask on reaching here?" Her brows bend in confusion. But he knows that's not the important thing for him right now.

He tries to open the door but she holds the knob like she is prohibiting him from getting inside.

"Ashlyn! Why are you stopping me from going inside? Don't tell me that she isn't there." He gazes at her with curiosity and also guilt. Watching her face, he comprehends… that she isn't there anymore.

"Oh! Fuck! Ashlyn! Why did you leave her alone?" He pushes the door and rushes inside and sees no one in there.

"I am sorry Simon. I went out to train. She was hurt like that and the thing that she would try to run away in that condition didn't even cross my mind. Do you think she had an ulterior motive? I don't think like that." Her voice sounds pitiful.

"I need to find her. I am going to go after her but Ashlyn…," he rushes towards her and places his both hands on her shoulders like he has something important message to convey to her.

"Yes, Beta tell me. I am going to obey everything you say." Her eyes are unmoved and she is on her spot knowing what should she exactly do.

"Don't let anyone know that she isn't here until I am back. You get that. Specially, Archie and Alpha. Tell them she is resting or in medicine but don't let them know that she isn't here around. You get that," he says. She nods her head and Beta Simon bolts out from there to find her. He smells the scent of her feet and follows her but the most shocking thing he finds is that she has gone through the wrong way.

"Shit! Why the hell went that way?" And then, he scurries as fast as possible.

Kimberly's POV:

"We're here." Simon's voice wakes me up. I don't believe I slept on his back all this time. I must have troubled him so much. He is already standing right in front of the door of the room I stayed before. I don't remember when my eyes fell asleep but it was a nice and warm on his back that I almost forgot that I was on his back.

"Let me open the door." He holds the knob with his right hand while holding me with the other. He is stronger than I have imagined. He struggles to open the door but he can't do that.

"Maybe it's locked. I need to call Ashlyn." He looks around and finds a place to place me. He takes the phone out of his pocket and starts dialing the number. The number can't be reached time and again. That's when I started to think that something was odd in here. Why wouldn't it be? I have been missing for the last two days.

"Searching for this?"

This voice brings terror in me, bringing coldness and chills within me. It's Alpha's voice. I quickly lift my head to take a look at the spot from where the sound is coming.

He…is ….standing…at the door. He looks displeased on one side but I can also see that there is a sense of satisfaction in him. His eyes are gleaming with anger while his lips are curled up with a tad of evil smile.

He is leaning against the door while his left hand is hanging in mid-air with the keys of the door. He throws the keys in the air and catches them in mid-air like he is teasing it to us.

"Si…mon." His name comes out of my mouth like he is the only one who could save me right now.

Simon pats my shoulder gently to calm me down.

"What is this odd scene in front of me? What am I seeing right now? It seems like a romantic series, doesn't it, Simon?" He scurries to us and attacks Simon without even thinking and lands a loud punch on his chest that Simon flies a few meters back and bumps hard against the wall. Air from his punch gushes through me as if it is a powerful and quick attack.

"Simon!" I shout out his name as he falls on the floor. I want to rush to him but when I try to do that I fall on the ground and hit my legs instead making me feel an extreme pain. Simon's name keeps on bleating in my mouth. I am sorry for him for getting him into this trouble in his pack.

How can he do this to his friend? I heard that they are very close and share a special bond to the extent that they built this annex together with each other's talent. Then, how could he attack fearlessly and heatlessly to his friend? Alpha Asher is a jerk. He is the most evil person I have ever encountered in my whole life.

I see Simon trying to stand on his own after that attack but before he can stand right on himself, Alpha goes on him with another powerful punch making him lie on the ground lifelessly.

"Si…mon…," My voice increases its intensity now. I cannot see this. The way, Beta Simon, one of the strongest warriors of the pack falls on the ground helplessly symbolizes how strong Alpha is and his attacks are.

Hearing my loud voice he turns his face to me and glares me with a dead look. At the same time, Ashyln runs to Simon and pushes Alpha away from him.

"What the hell Asher! Why did you do that? Do you want to kill Simon?" she shouts at Alpha. This is the loudest and the angriest voice of Ashlyn that I have heard till now. Her voice is a mixture of pain and anger.

"Ashlyn! Why are you here? Get out of this, will you? Or you are going to get hurt too," he growls at her and tries to push her away from there but she towers herself firmly in there and doesn't budge from there. Right at that moment. Archie enters and he runs to Simon too, all frustrated and worried.

I can see how much Archie loves Simon with his crybaby face and teary eyes. He runs to him and kneels in front of him.

"Archie! Now you too. Just get out of there Archie. This man betrayed the whole pack. He let this girl run away from here and brought her back like she was on a trip and returning home while the thing he should have done at the beginning was never let her run away from here and even if he had found her, he should have killed her instead of bringing her back to here." His voice roars like that of a lion echoing the whole place while he throws the keys away from his hand to my side and the keys hit badly on my forehead making me bleed.

"Alpha! Alpha! This was all an act. You know how Simon is. He has never tried to disobey you, has he? He has always been loyal to you. Why would he return with this girl? Don't you think he obeyed you that is why he brought her back? Otherwise, he would have let her go and wouldn't even search for her. He had plans with her and he never wanted to displease you." Archie explains.

What?

He must be joking, right? That isn't what Simon did. I don't believe that. I trust him and I know he didn't get me back for Alpha. I cannot trust Archie. How can I trust him when he was the whistleblower of my existence here? I trust Simon and only Simon.

"I don't believe you." Alpha growls.

"It's truth. That was what he told me at least." Ashlyn stands up and tells Alpha.

"Ashlyn… not again." Alpha seems frustrated.

"It's true. He discussed it with me before he went. I knew that he was going to bring her back. You could have asked me before attacking him. I would have answered all of your questions but you are always blinded by your indecisive decisions." She glares at him.

"Ashyln… Don't try to manipulate the things." Alpha's voice lows down. I don't get it. How come Ashlyn can make Alpha lower down his temper?

"I am not. If so then, please let us take Simon for the treatment," she says and holds Simon. She asks for help with Archie and they take him out of there.

Before going out Ashlyn takes a glimpse of me. Her eyes are cold and she seems to be extremely angry with me. Now, it's only me and Alpha in that large hall.

This is suffocating. So much suffocating. I can't stand being together with him in the same room. He makes it hard to breathe. He makes me want to die.

"He's coming here. I like him." My wolf purrs. My wolf must be thinking this is funny but it isn't her time to be flirty and to praise the attacker. I don't like her behaviour for god's sake.
