Alyssa lay peacefully in the flower field, the birds were singing, the sun was shining brightly, and the wind was blowing across the field, but she was so engrossed in her thoughts with her eyes closed that she didn't notice a special someone was watching her sleep.

"Please don't stare at me, you're making me blush," she said shyly.

"Why are you preventing me from staring at your goddess-like beauty?" he asked as he continued to stroke her hair.

She stood up and sat down, smiling and chuckling, "Oh, stop. I'm not that beautiful, I'm just an ordinary beauty. I'm sure there are other girls who have goddess-like beauty, but not me," she said with a sigh.

"But, you are beautiful," he said as he raised her chin and looked her in the eyes.

"I know you're just trying to cheer me up, and I appreciate it, but no one has ever complimented me," she said, her knees tightly hugged.

"What I said wasn't meant to cheer you up; it was the truth. You are beautiful, and you don't need to compare yourself to others because you have your own beauty to show," he said softly.

"Thank you, what would I do without you, but I still don't know if someone would like a girl like me," she said as she leaned against his shoulder, tears streaming down her face.

"Someone likes you Alyssa," he continued, raising her chin once more. "Perhaps that person hasn't had the courage to tell you face to face yet."

"Let's face it, I'm not likeable," she complained, sighed heavily.

"I like you," he softly murmured.

The atmosphere became quiet after he muttered, fortunately Alyssa didn't listen to what he was saying. He sighed, looking at her from the side, as they continued to stare at the sunset.

LMU DORMITORY

"It must be a good book," Camille unexpectedly said, bringing Alyssa back to reality. She stared at them and nodded sadly.

"That was it for a moment," she closes the book, sighs, crosses her arms and mutters.

Camille asks "What is the story about?"

"It's about a man who can transform from a dog to a human and he fell in love with his owner. This was illegal in their world because it violated the law," she explained. "The girl wakes up on this faithful day with long wavy hair, diamond-like eyes, a masculine figure, and a cute face that slept right next to her, until he wakes up."

"That sounds interesting," said Camille, who sounded interested in books.

"Yes, that's right. I'm on page 30. He wanted to tell the girl how he truly feels, but something stopping him from doing so," she shouted with excitement. Alyssa explained.

"Why is that?" Asks Camille.

"It's the law of the shapeshifter world, since the two worlds are enemies, and when a shapeshift falls in love with a human, either chooses to die or never see each other again," she said. Alyssa explains to complain.

"Oh, I see. It must be difficult for the man," Camille was disappointed.

"I know~ how I wish he should've live in the human world so that he can be with the girl, but the girl still doesn't know about the guy has feelings for her or the law about the shapeshifter" Alyssa was disappointed and sighed.

Camille strokes Alyssa hair to cheer her up. "I'm sure they'll end the law in the next chapter," she said.

"I don't know because they live in different worlds, but as I always say, if you love someone, you'll find a way," Alyssa said in a sad voice, but the result of her sorrow disappears given the good results in the next chapter.

"That's the spirit," Camille said, "And by the way, do you know what section you're in yet? After all, we've been resectioned again," she inquired.

"I haven't received the email yet, have you?" Alyssa inquired, shaking her head.

"Neither do I," Camille said.

"Oh, I hope Clydesdale and I are in the same class again," Alyssa exclaimed, her face beaming.

"I thought you moved on from him?" Camille inquired, her arms crossed.

"I attempted to move on from him," Alyssa confessed, her knees firmly embraced. "But each time I attempt, he pops up in my mind, and we frequently meet within the corridors and we sometimes message each other, how can I move on from him if we're often like this?" She ask while biting her lips.

"Let me remind you that he already has a girlfriend," Camille said, raising an eyebrow. "Why would you chase a guy who already has a love life?" she wondered.

"You don't have to remind me because I know he has a girlfriend," Alyssa said, rolling her eyes at her. "But that doesn't stop me from going after him even though he's rejected me a couple of times."

Camille grabbed Alyssa's shoulder and shook her out of reality. "Snap out of it! It's not worth it to chase the guy, you're hurting yourself. Honestly, I'm worried," Camille yelled.

"I know, it's not worth it," Alyssa said, turning the chair to face Camille with an evil smile and an evil hand gesture.

"Are you even paying attention to a word I'm saying?" Camille asks, palming her face. "You aren't "getting closer," he only sees you as a friend or a fellow classmate," Camille quotes, rolling her eyes.

"Oh, I hear you loud and clear," Alyssa said, smirking as she crossed her legs. "That's nonsense, I know there's more to that," she said, snickering.

Camille shook her head and covered her face, saying, "Oh, boy."

Alyssa's sentence was cut short when a knock on the door interrupted her.

Camille went to open the door, and in walked Jelyn Gabby and Christine Durham, who were both concerned and uneasy.

"What's wrong with you guys? You look worried and uneasy," Alyssa inquires, her brow furrowed.

"There's nothing wrong; we're just worried because we still haven't receive the email yet, and I'm starting to lose my mind since we're resectioning again," Jelyn explained, taking a seat to relax.

"Calm down you two, we haven't gotten our emails yet either," Alyssa said, "so relax. I'm sure you'll get your emails soon enough; until then, let's just wait."

"I told you that you weren't the only one who hadn't received the emails," Christine explained.

"I'm sorry, I got a little paranoid there," Jelyn says, sweating.

"That's okay," Alyssa explained, "I know it's nerve-wracking that we haven't received our emails yet and that classes begin in two days."

"Classes begin in two days?!" Jelyn exclaimed, nearly collapsing.

"Now, now, classes don't start when the students don't have their sections yet," Camille said, fanning Jelyn.

"Stop worrying, why don't we go outside and get some fresh air?" suggested Alyssa.

Christine agreed with a smile, "That sounds nice."

Jelyn nodded and quickly rose to join the others who had already exited the room.
