The first day of the shoot went better than Andromeda had imagined, but deep down, the absence of Liu Xueyi's warmth was felt heavily.
"Focus, baby," she scolded herself. It wasn't like they had not spent days or weeks in their separate homes away from each other.
Sometimes, due to the meetings at work, seeing each other was not possible due to their busy schedules.
Still, when it came to travelling recently, he was always by her side.
Picking up her phone from her bedside table, she dialled his number, placing a call to him.
"My love." The cheekiness in his voice made her blush. "I knew you'd be missing me." Andromeda rolled her eyes at him.
"And you didn't?"
She watched him adjust into a more comfortable position on his bed, placing the phone against the bedpost so he could see her properly.
"What do you think?"
