Suppressing his excitement, Liam recalled what will happen if he spoils anything, he knew Maria well.

Standing in front of the group; were Ajay Aditya, Wang Chen, and the priestess, with solemn expressions on their faces.

"Are you guys ready?" inquired the priestess, not taking her attention from the Olive tree.

"Ready when you are?" replied Aditya, taking a short glance at Wang Chen.

"*Hmmmph* Don't look at me bastard, I'm always ready" replied Wang Chen, harrumphing.

Not saying another word, Aditya and Wang Chen, ran toward the tree with full force, drawing out weapons.

Aditya had a golden spear in his hand, while Wang Chen held onto a silver double-edged blade.

As if coming to life, roots came out of the ground, aiming for the charging individuals, sending them off balance.

'Fuck, these plant life forms are really dangerous' thought Wang Chen, using his double-edged sword to slice them off.

"Our main aim, is not to defeat it, we just need the fruit!" yelled the Priestess, using her hands to manipulate the surrounding force, creating a chance for them to move forward.

"Your task is to distract the tree, so the pressure on your leaders would reduce," she said, giving the two groups, a signal to move in.

Jumping up, Aditya used his spell to aim for the tree, clearing all adversaries in its part.

'This bastard, he's still good at using that spear' thought Wang Chen, increasing his pace with an infuriated look.

*Grrrrrr* hearing the sound of the tree cry; everyone stopped in their tracks, they did not expect this, and they could all feel a sudden sense of danger.

*Rumble* with the ground shaking, and giant roots coming out of it, their scalp went numb in fear and dread.

"What the hell," said Maria out loud, not minding her surroundings.

"Why is the tree acting up, it was not like that when we came close to it," said Liam, trying to figure out any possible reason behind the sudden development.

'The child' thought Maria, rubbing her stomach; she didn't really understand it, but she could feel a connection.

Closing up her eyes, she tried to connect with the feeling, getting closer with every step she took.

*Don't be scared, I just want to make it a little hard for them* said a voice in her head.

"Who are you?" asked Maria, trying to understand what is going on.

*Just call me Olive* said the voice; *and remember, you can do it* continued the voice, with his last words echoing.

"Wait!" yelled Maria, trying to get to the source of the strange force.

"What's wrong?" asked Liam, holding her back.

"Did you see it?" she inquired, ignoring his first question.

"See what?" Liam asked back, in a confused tone, giving Maria a weird look.

"Forget it, we have to prepare," she said, taking out her bow; from the space ring.

"You can't do that," said Liam, holding down her hands.

"I know what I'm doing, let me go," she said, pushing Liam to the side; almost sending him off the tree.

'Ahh, this is the prize of falling in love' thought Liam, gripping onto a branch.

Knocking an arrow on the bow, she shot toward the Olive tree; helping the individuals opposing the tree.

Due to the intense battle, they hardly noticed the interference of a third party. With the tree roaring intensifying; it started attacking like a crazed beast.

"Go and help them out!" yelled Maria, looking at William; from his expression, he looked flabbergasted, he was just like a kid, on a battlefield.

"Yes ma," he said, rushing toward the battle, not wanting to anger Maria in any way.

Increasing her shot; Maria targeted the Olive branches, with each arrow making it obvious, that they was a third party.

"Who the hell is shooting!" yelled Wang Chen, trying to figure out the direction, the arrows came from.

"Concentrate... they don't seem to be targeting us" yelled the Priestess, chanting done strange mantra.

"Old man Chen... always concentrate," said Aditya, in a mocking tone; Wang Chen could feel it, but as a veteran, he decided to ignore it.

Entering the battlefield; Liam slashed at the tree branches, cutting them off in one go, showing off his skills and techniques.

'Who is this' thought Aditya, gripping tightly on his spear; he could feel Liam's strength. It was not common to meet a 'middle stage low ranker'.

Both he and Wang Chen were just a little bit above that; making him warier of Liam.

Focusing on the battle, he used his double-edged sword to cut down branches.

Timing her aim, she went directly for the fruit, taking it down in one go; shocking all the people present, even Liam.

Maybe the tree too, everything thing seemed to be like time had stopped moving.
