(This editor is lazy.) Shaun said that I have to also know times tables in order to get better at maths. When Shaun showed it to me, it seemed that they would be easy to remember. It was. Maths formulas were also pretty easy to memorise. For the last two months, I've been studying a lot and learned many subjects, ranging from 1st grade to 5th. (Authors note: Leon is 11)

I was able to learn about everything and even a bit of 6 grade stuff. One day, Shaun said, "Hey, Leon. I've got a question. Why do your eyes glow when you study sometimes?" I thought about it for a long time, maybe around 40 seconds. I finally came up with something along the lines of, "Maybe because I'm super focused!" Shaun replied, "Yeah, maybe that's correct! But how will you avoid that in school?"

Huh. That was a good question. "Oh," Shaun suddenly proclaimed, "maybe glasses?"  "Yeah, glasses could work", I thought.

Two weeks later, before going to school, I dyed my hair black and wore contacts instead of glasses because Shaun said that I looked like a nerd when wearing them. For some reason, Shaun looked pretty good today (a very rare occurence), and my mom was as beautiful as ever. The school I went to was called 'Platinum High' and I got my entrance exam results recently. I had somewhat high hopes because I studied for 2 months straight. That meant for sure I would get some good results!

Yeah, no. I freaking failed. But gladly, I passed the physical exam. Shaun was kind of dissapointed. "Ahh... I guess I failed to teach you geometry and physics. I forgot that this is an elite school. It seems that simple addition doesn't do the trick." The principal said that it was ok as long as I passed a subject. For me, it was P.E., and he suggested that I could join the sports section. My mom and Shaun thought that it was a terrible idea, but I took up the principal's offer. Shaun said that I shouldn't come back crying after this decision. I was pretty confused, replying unenthusiastically. "Sure, whatever." What really confused me was that I saw the biggest grin on his face. I don't trust him one bit.

As soon as school started, I was assigned a dorm room. I'm supposed to live there until the end of the semester. The moment I entered the dorm, all my seniors started groaning in pain as if they came straight out of a torture session. When they saw me, they were like, "Run while you've got the chance! You can't survive in this damned hellhole!" I was busy wondering, "What made them look like this?"

The next morning, they woke us up at 4 o'clock. We did 30 minutes of beach running, and honestly? It was really, really easy to do, but when I saw my seniors run just after the fifth the lap, they looked like walking corpses. After that, we had breakfast, and immediately jumped into the training. We started doing martial arts. Our instructor, Ji Won, a 6-time Korean Taekwando champion, told us that he was gonna teach us taekwondo, a marital art that 'uses the legs as weapons'. So my first time doing taekwondo was quite easy, and Ji Won even complimented me. He said, "Your quite good, child. Maybe you should consider doing taekwondo."

After that class, we were gonna do 'intense' physical with Mr. Zennifer. We did weight lifting, running, endurance, and a lot more. We had a break, but this time, I was not with the seniors who actually treated me nicely. Instead, I was with the annoying juniors. But what could I have done? I was alone while eating when I met this guy who sat next to me. We talked and had some fun. His name was Ethan, and he does boxing. Though he has like 4 bandages on his face, he was a good guy. So I thought I should try boxing.

The next class i decided to do boxing instead of karate. Ethan said hi to me when he saw me in his class. Then, the instructor came rushing towards me and inspecting like the taekwondo instructor. He said, "Hmm... kid, what do you think about going pro in boxing?" At that moment, I was stunned. I didn't know what to say. I mean, I just walked into his class!

But Ethan kept bugging me to say yes so I caved in. "Y-yes…" The instructor said, "You just made a good choice, child! Now just sign up." I reluctantly nodded, and after signing up, he told Ethan to show me around the martial arts department. In this school, we have a variety of dept. in the sports section. And now, I'm offically in the martial arts dept!
