Chapter 10: GARUDA
"IAN BEHIND YOU!"
Roe shouted to Ian when she saw a Kinnara was about to attack him.
Ian raises his hands to protect himself then a small black hole appeared where the Kinnara was standing and he fell inside. Then the hole suddenly closed once the Kinnara was in it.
"WOW! How did you do that?" Roe asked?
"I don't know!" Ian replied while looking at his own hands with disbelief.
"ATEEE HEEELP!" Sarah.
"LET US GO!!!" Joy.
Sarah and Joy were caught by the Kinnara's and when Ian turns around a Kinnara caught him and Roe too.
Peach saw her siblings were now captured while she was still fighting the two Kinnara's.
But as soon as the other Kinnaras flew away the Kinnaras that Peach was fighting flew away too, leaving her behind.
"LET THEM GO!!! DON'T TAKE THEM AWAY FROM ME!!!!" Peach shouted.
She chased them using all her super speed.
Peach became exhausted from running and fell.
"I - I will not give up!" Peach said to herself while the Kinnara's are getting too far from her sight.
"I will save my siblings! We - we promised that we will go back to our mother together!" Peach tried to stand up again.
"I WON'T GIVE UP UNTIL I SAVE THEM ALL!!!"
Peach shouted. Suddenly a beam of light appeared, and when Peach notices where it was coming from she saw Ian's backpack and the beam was coming from the Libreta.
"The Libreta! Please tell me where they take my siblings!... ITURO SA AKIN ANG KANILANG KINAROROONAN." Then the beam of light bent to the direction where peach last saw the Kinnaras and she followed it.
The beam takes her to a huge mountain with a giant cave then it slowly disappeared when she got inside the cave.
"ATE JOY! ATE SARAH! IAN! ROE! ANSWER ME!!!" Peach shouted.
Deeper inside the cave something big was already waiting for her.
Peach went inside the giant cave to look for her siblings. The cave had lighted torches so Peach followed them.
"KINNARA'S! I KNOW THAT YOU ALL CAN HEAR ME! RELEASE MY SIBLINGS OR I WILL START THE WORLD WAR III IN HERE!!!" Peach shouted.
"Brave words! But can you defeat me and save your siblings?" A big voice said and it was coming deeper inside the cave.
Peach bravely followed where the voice was coming from.
"ARE YOU CHALLENGING ME?... WELL THEN, I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!" Peace replied confidently.
Suddenly the cave shakes and crumbles like there was an earthquake.
A large eagle with a body of a muscular man appeared in front of her. He was about 5 times the height of Peach. All her confidence before left her and Peach's body is now shaking in fear.
"You look terrified!? What will you do now? Runaway and leave your siblings behind?? Hahaha!" He said laughing.
"YOU GIANT MEAN BIRD!! I WILL SAVE THEM NO MATTER WHAT!" Peach replied.
"I am Garuda leader of the Kinnaras. Show me true bravery and defeat me in a battle!" Garuda challenged Peach.
Then Peach started attacking Garuda. She throws kicks and punches with all her might but not even a scratch.
"YAH! YAH! YAH! TAKE THIS!! AND THIS! AND THIS!" Peach's attacks were not even tickling Garuda.
"Is that it??... It's my turn now!" Garuda said mocking her.
Garuda just flaps his wings that created a strong gust of wind that carried Peach away and hits the wall of the cave.
"Give up now! While you still can." Garuda provoked her.
"NO! I WILL NOT GIVE UP!" Peach attacked Garuda again and again even though she always ends up hitting everywhere around the cave.
"AAAH!!!"
Peach's body is now full of wounds and scratches, she feels numb because of too much pain.
She was lying down on the ground almost out of energy to stand up. But she saw the Libreta was glowing near her and she tried to grab it.
"Libreta, Please give me more strength to defeat Garuda." As soon Peach touches the Libreta her body started glowing too.
"My power, it's coming back!" Peach stands up easily as nothing happened to her earlier.
"Now I can defeat you!" She said.
Then she started running around the cave in superspeed. Garuda's attacks don't hit her anymore, while she was running upward to the cave.
"Where is she?"
Garuda lost sight of Peach, but Peach is already at the ceiling of the cave.
She let herself fall at the head of Garuda. She uses gravity to add more power to her kick at the back of Garuda's head. Then she backflips and Peach grabs the feather on his head.
Peach transformed into a Guardian in mid-air and the feather transformed into a bow. She used the bow to attack Garuda with the wind arrow which creates a great blast of wind the hits Garuda on his chest. Then he hits the wall and some rocks covered his face.
"What? What just happened??" Peach asked herself.
"YOU DID IT PEACH!!!" Joy and Sarah shouted.
"SOOO COOL!" Ian was amazed at what he had witnessed.
They all hugged Peach while praising her for defeating Garuda and for transforming into a Guardian!
"Hahaha! That was splendid!" Garuda laughed and then he transformed into a middle-man with wings.
"I never thought that you will use the Wind Amulet to defeat me!" Garuda said.
The bow transformed into an amulet with the symbol of the Wind on it after Peach's Guardian armor disappeared.
"I - I found the Amulet!" She raised her hand with the amulet and then passed out due to exhaustion.
Garuda told them to stay while Peach was still resting. The Kinnara's that are also skilled fighters, help them learn how to use their powers in fighting especially Ian who just learned how to use his powers. Peach's wound heals fast and she easily recovers but she needed to learn how to use the Wind Talisman before they are allowed to go home. They teach Peach how to use a bow and arrow and how to combine her superspeed with the wind arrow.
"You have to master how to use bow and arrow first then it will be easier for you to combine it with wind power and your super speed." Garuda said to Peach while teaching her.
"Easier said than done! Huhu!" Peach whispered to herself.
