23. The Academies

For a few days Ast and Anya kept low. They discussed and tried to think of all the situations that could arise and after a week of pondering, they were finally ready.

They informed the head buttler that they would depart tomorrow. Early next morning a small number of people began their journey towards the Aldi town. Aldi was a nearby town located near the sea thus being the trade center for this part of the continent. Every year the sever star academies take the test of the interested youngsters. The youngsters who are selected will travel to one of the seven academies, according to their ranking. A total of 1000 candidates are selected for admission, out of which the top 100 are given the choice to enter the academy of their interest.

There are a total of 3 human continents in which the reputation of the seven star academies is huge. They have branches in all 3 human continents and have a reputation equivalent to the royals of the continents. There was always competition among the seven academies for various resources and reputation. The human continents were named as Ditri, Nexus and Satro. Blair family was a prominent noble family of the Ditri continent.

All the seven academies were prominent in various aspects and were treated as a mecca for elementalist. They had experts as teachers, various mystical resources and magical places and trial lands connecting to different special locations, these places were known as elemental nodes. The elemental nodes were a kind of trial places where students can gain tremendous rewards based on their performances. Elementalal nodes were very mysterious and the places where they exist were regulated by the seven star academies. Based on the type of elemental nodes each academy had their own speciality.

Ast was also curious about these academies and wanted to enter them with Anya. The prerequisite was that the person should not be above the age of 15. Elementalist were graded from level 1 to 9, while the elementalist from level 1 to 4 were known as beginners level 5, 6and 7 were know as professional or simply pro and level 8 and 9 were the experts. Ast knew that in this competition for selection into the star academies there might be people who have already become elementalist so it was not easy to enter the Academies. But as the age of the youngest to become an elementalist in the continent was 10 years old he knew that no one among the participants would be able to cross the level 2 in the grading so he was somewhat sure that his plans would work out.

Because Ast and Anya were not here to watch the competition but participate in it. Ast knew if he entered the academy than the Blair family couldn't touch him or his sis.
