Emergency Meeting

(3rd Person POV)

In a unknown area the air was tense.

A fashionable hall was occupied by a variety of different people.

The dozens of people engaged in fierce chatter, wondering what the purpose of the meeting was.

In the main seat sat a middle aged man, pitch black hair and eyes.

The man had an oppressive force coming out of him, commanding respect.

"What's going on, Lord Ryker?" A burly old man finally settled the noise and addressed his ruler.

The man—Lord Ryker—furrowed his eyebrows as he began to speak.

"There's a new Entity King… I was naturally supposed to take the next lead, but the Will itself interfered this time."

Instantly there was silence in the room and shock on their faces.

This hasn't happened since the First Entity King!!

"Where is our new Lord?! We should be welcoming him!"

The faces of the lower gods were ecstatic, being able to serve the new Entity King is something they've dreamed of since they were appointed as gods.

But the higher gods weren't that happy with this outcome.

Originally, the first gods were chosen by the Will to serve the Entity King, but as time goes on and generations continue people ideas begin to change.

They want to have their family inherit the Entity Kings position.

"Lord Ryker, as the current Ruling God, you should have taken the true throne once Lord Eyru died! This is unfair!" A very skinny man spoke up.

This man was a High ranking God under Ryker, he naturally wants Ryker to become the next Entity King so he can become the next Ruling God.

"*Sigh* That's why i intend to strike back."

Immediately shock swept through the hall, followed by thick killing intent as all the lower gods stated at Ryker.

"What do you mean by this?! Our job is to serve the Entity King and protect the Void! Don't overstep your line!" The lower gods were still fanatical about serving their one true lord.

"That's unfortunate, you can die then."

*SCHWING* All the lower gods who protested were killed.

Wasting Lives? Nonsense, their divinity can be repurposed with someone else.

Ryker won't let anyone ruin his plans now.

"Anyway, the Entity Kings are believed to be immortal, but how true is that? I found it weird how much stress it put into protecting the void space. Until i realized something."

Ryker took a breath and then continued under the curious gazes of his subordinates.

"This is their source of power! All the Entity Kings have either killed themselves or were mysteriously killed. I assume the Void space provides their powers. Since the New Entity King just came into power, he should be weaker than us."

As he closed his mouth he looked around at the reactions of the gods, and they looked a little worried.

So Ryker added something to help them.

"I know how you may feel, Entity Kings are stronger than us by unimaginable amounts, but he's new and hasn't gotten to that stage yet! With the entire Gods Realm combined, i'm sure we can take him"

The greed in the eyes of Ryker was terrifying as cheers rang through the hall.

It was time to trap the Entity King and take his place.

But who's in who's trap?

And what is the Will hiding?

Nobody knows, but one thing for sure is that they were awakening a sleeping beast.

Can they accept the wrath of The Ninth Entity King and the first Entity Queen?
