The Rainstorm

In an unknown space in the starry heavens, two ancient beings and an ancient being with a look like a young man in his 30s were seen in an unknown palace.

"Old dragon, you think this human boy is worthy?" one of the ancient beings spoke out.

'Sigh'

Another ancient being said with a sigh "Let's ask him again just to be certain" he said. The man's eyes were lit like a furnace.

5 breaths passed and suddenly an old man appeared in the palace. The old man has eyes so deep like it has seen through everything in the Universe and his every move contains profound wisdom.

"The prophecy is inevitable and we must find a man who is worthy of carrying the blue metal, the person who will carry the blue metal must have an excellent spirit and must be greatly favored by the heavens," the old man said.

"Wise one, can't we stop this prophecy by ourselves? We do have great strength you know." the ancient man with a youthful face asked.

The diviner shook his head and said with a bitter smile. "No"

"That is why we must choose a worthy master for the blue metal" he continued.

"From this lowly world that lacks spiritual energy?" the third ancient being asked with a funny look.

"Yes, according to my divination, the worthy one is from this lowly world. All we have to do is release the blue metal and let it choose its heir on its own. We all know that the blue metal is mysterious and its origin, is unknown. It can only be wielded by whoever it chooses to be its master." the diviner responded.

"Let's do it, let's release it immediately then. There is not much time left before the fulfillment of the great prophecy." the ancient being called Old Dragon said and they call nodded their head.

~ Earth ~

"Ethan my dear, I have already contacted the driver, he will be the one to drive you to the airport." a beautiful middle-aged woman said.

"Okay Mom" Ethan replied.

"Dad, Mom, I'm going to miss you guys," Ethan suddenly let out.

"Oh, dear, don't talk as if this will be the last time we are going to be meeting ourselves." Ethan's mother let out a smile.

"Yes, boy, give us a call when you reach the airport, and in London, don't go chasing girls around." Ethan's father added with a smile.

"Yes, Dad" Ethan replied while making a funny look before moving to the carpark. But little did they know that this will truly be the last time they are going to be seeing each other again.

'Rumble!'

A tumbling sound was suddenly heard. Ethan looked through the side mirror and discover the sky is getting a lot darker than usual.

[Two breaths later]

"Rainstorm?" he asked in trepidation.

"Boss, I think we have a problem." the driver suddenly said.

"What is it?" Ethan asked, still looking at the dark sky through the side mirror, but he soon discovered to his dismay that something was amiss, he noticed that the car is slowing down.

"Eh?" he was surprised.

"Me Kol, what is going on with the car? Is something wrong with the car?" Ethan questioned.

"I don't understand young master, this car was perfectly ok when we left the house and it was still okay a few minutes ago but it suddenly slows down now," Mr. Kol said.

"We have to hurry out of the road and find shelter before the rainstorm hits us," Ethan said with a trace of fear in his eyes.

'Vroom'

The car engine sounded, trying to raise its speed to be able to avoid the storm that was coming behind them. The rainstorm started to intensify and its gale was moving towards them at an extreme speed.

'Crackled'

Crackling around could be heard coming from the rainstorm.

'Vroom!' 'Vroom!!' 'Vroom!!!'

Different vehicles started overtaking Ethan's car at top speed while Ethan's car begins to slow down.

"Fuck!!!" Ethan cursed repeatedly and look at the side mirror, the storm was almost reaching Ethan's car. But at this moment, Ethan discovered that something was amiss, then he said. "Mr. Kol, I think we should...." he was still saying this when he suddenly noticed to his despair that Mr. Kol was nowhere to be found.

"Mr. Kol?" Ethan said while fear starts creeping into his heart.

"Mr. Kol, where are you?" Ethan cried out at the top of his voice but it was hardly audible because of the strong gale. He started trembling, he picked up his phone wanting to call his father, but to his distress, the phone was off, and no matter how he tried turning it on, there was no response.

"Damn it! How is this possible that my phone battery is out already?? Who is doing this to me? What is going on?" Ethan yelled.

"Argh..." he cried out in annoyance and frustration.

Ethan's car has already stopped moving and it's the only vehicle on the big highway. Ethan closes his eyes in distress, waiting to be smashed by the storm. But then something strange happened. He noticed he was already in the middle of the storm, he couldn't see or hear anything from every side of his car, he was all alone inside the car in the middle of a great storm that is not even moving his car. But suddenly, a blinding blue light shines in the storm, it lit up the storm with blinding blue rays.

"What...what is this?" Ethan said with a trembling voice, he covered his eyes with both hands and groaned.

But then, all of a sudden...

'Bang!'

An azure thunderbolt strikeout of the blue light and hit Ethan directly on his forehead.

"Arghhhhhhhh" Ethan cried out in pain and everything around him was plunked into eternal darkness.

"Honey, do you think Ethan would have gotten to the airport before this strange rainstorm started?" Ethan's mother asked her husband uneasily. She had a bad feeling about this strange rainstorm that suddenly appeared without any sign.

"Don't worry darling, he will be ok" Ethan's father replied assuredly, trying to console his wife but deep within his eyes, worry could be seen.

In a particular part of the heavens, in a strange palace, the four ancient beings could be seen looking at planet Earth.

"Finally!" one of the ancient beings exclaimed.

"I hope this little one will forever be guided and favored by the Heavenly Dao," the Diviner said.

"Let's see what kind of surprises he is going to give us in the future," Old Dragon said with a smile.

And then the Emergence of Azure and Shadows descend upon the Universe.
