She clearly wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by. Snatching up the long spear, she closely followed the beast, with stones constantly striking its body. The target sprinted madly, and Mengmeng relentlessly pursued from behind.

Perhaps enraged or driven into a corner, the creature suddenly performed a textbook slide step, turned around, and darted straight at Mengmeng's face. The speed was so fast that even she couldn't react in time and was solidly hit in the chest.

The tremendous impact sent Mengmeng flying before she heavily hit the ground, the pain in her chest nearly causing her to pass out. But as Mr. Xv's daughter, she knew that fainting would surely lead to being trampled to death. Biting down on her teeth and holding her breath, she rolled on the ground and quickly propped herself up with her elbows to avoid the beast's stomping with a few rolls.
