Chapter : 12 Sarah Attacked!

Back to Alistair mansion..

Vali found himself in his room, extending a kind gesture to the mysterious cat he had discovered in the enigmatic Monster Forest.

"Drink this," Vali murmured, carefully placing a bowl of milk before the feline. "Go back to your home, or just stay here. It's your wish."as he added.

Leaving the cat to its own devices, as he Navigating the corridors of his residence, Vali encountered his grandfather, Alistair, in the hall. "Grandpa, I need to head home; it's been two days, and Mom will be furious," Vali explained.

Alistair, an air of secrecy about him, responded, "I had plans to take you somewhere, but it can wait. Return home for now."

As Vali prepared to depart, he remembered the cat in his room. "Grandpa, there's a cat in my room. Can you ask the maids to feed her? I didn't see any on my way here, and please, instruct them not to get too close—just leave the food at the entrance," Vali requested.

Alistair assured him, "The maids are in their monthly meetings. I'll take care of it." With that, a silver magic circle enveloped Vali, transporting him away.

The magic circle materialized before Shiroyoku House, and Vali strode towards the slightly opened entrance. The dimly lit, eerily silent interior gave him an uneasy feeling.

"Mom, I'm back," Vali called out, but the air carried his words without a response. As he entered the hall, his eyes fell on a mysterious figure seated in the shadows.

"Who are you, and where is my mom?" Vali's tone grew tense, hinting at an underlying danger. The figure, standing at six feet five inches, spoke with a disarming sweetness.

"So, you are my grandson. Not bad. Your demonic energy makes me want to play with you even more," the mysterious figure said, a sense of amusement in his voice.

Ignoring the stranger's comments, Vali's impatience boiled over. "Where is my mom?" he demanded, the surroundings trembling with his growing fury.

"Calm down, kid. There's no need to get angry. I'm just here to say hello to my grandson," the mysterious figure replied calmly.

Vali's patience shattered, and he lunged forward with a furious punch. Yet, the figure vanished, reappearing two meters behind him.

"You're quite a feisty kid," the mysterious voice chuckled, revealing a glimpse of dark silver hair and eyes similar to Vali's.

Before Vali could press further, a sound caught his attention. Turning towards the kitchen counter, he saw his mom on the ground, groaning in pain, clutching her stomach.

As if time itself halted, Vali watched in disbelief as a bluish energy enveloped him. Dragonic wings burst forth, and his once-bluish eyes glowed completely white with radiance.

"Calm down, Vali," Albion's voice resonated.

"A Longinus Divine Dividing, you're full of surprises, kid," the mysterious figure remarked, unaffected by the gusts of wind that tore through the surroundings. The walls cracked, and the electric lights flickered out, leaving only Vali's radiant glow.

"Wait, is that a forbidden move?" the mysterious voice inquired, observing with keen eyes, while Albion urgently shouted, "Vali, calm down. Don't let your emotions consume you."

An inner voice echoed, tempting Vali to unleash a devastating force. "Use it... kill him... f*ck him... doggystyle..."

"Vali, control yourself. You'll also hurt your mom if you don't calm down," Albion pleaded, but Vali seemed deaf to reason.

"Listen to the dragon, or this entire town will turn to dust along with your mom," the mysterious man warned, pointing towards Sarah. "She's still alive. Lucky you. If she isn't taken to the hospital, she will die for sure," he added.

Vali, torn between rage and concern, turned towards his mom. His eyes slowly returned to normal as he redirected his attention to the man, who had mysteriously vanished.

"Vali, take your mother to the Underworld immediately. Your grandfather might be able to heal her properly," Albion advised, a sense of urgency in his voice.

UNDERWORLD...

GREMORY TERRITORY ALISTAIR MANSION..

The mansion was thrown into chaos when Vali suddenly materialized, carrying the injured and unconscious Sarah. Alistair wasted no time, summoning a doctor to attend to her in a room, where Sarah lay equipped with an oxygen mask. Vali stood anxiously by Alistair's side as they watched from outside.

Once the doctor emerged, Alistair voiced his concern. "How is she?" he inquired, his worry mirrored in Vali's eyes.

The doctor relayed the assessment, "Well, there weren't any serious injuries, except that she's pregnant, and the child is in a bit of danger." With those words, he returned to attend to Sarah.

"That damn bastard! It must be his doing," Alistair erupted in anger, his fist colliding with the wall, causing it to crack.

"Grandpa, do you know that man?" Vali questioned, a hint of shock in his voice.

"Yes, I know him. He is the reason we are in this world, and he is the reason why we are perishing," Alistair revealed, a deep-seated resentment in his words.
