On the Nexus Side of things, the fights had already started.

~Isaiah vs Cain

The two fighters were exchanging blows faster than any High Class could see.

*Clang. Clang. Clang* *Boom. Boom, BOOOM*

The only thing left behind them was the damage to the earth. Trenches and craters were left. Slash marks spanning hundreds of meters. Their clashes send large chunks of the earth flying high in the air.

Despite how even the fight looked. It was Isaiah who was winning. Cain was keeping up. But he was struggling, mostly due to his reserves being locked at Peak Low Ultimate. He was only able to stand in front of Isaiah due to his high comprehension of Marital Arts. And his other secret. His Mark.

[LACERATE]

Isaiah called out and a 10-centimeter-long gash appeared on Cain's back. And he was hit by the effect of one of Isaiah's swords.

Cain gasped at the feeling of poison running through his veins but steadied himself quickly.

"Poison doesn't work on me" He let out a punch that pushed me back a bit.

Isaiah frowned 'Hmmm. He is troublesome. I am holding back quite a bit and I am winning. That much is obvious. I have had the advantage from the start. Yet here is a normal human if we were to ignore his slow-healing immortality.

He was just a Low Ultimate Human who used martial arts. Yet he is keeping me busy. His moves were graceful, with no wasted movement whatsoever.'

"RAAAA" Cain swung his fist everything in the direction of the was getting destroyed

*Swish*

Isaiah slashed down, cutting the attack in half, and neutralizing it.

'Each time he threw a fist, space distorted around it. It was like Garp had transmigrated into DxD. Each punch could shatter mountains with minimal effort'

His comprehension of his power is a lot better than mine. I have Low mid to Low high Transcended Level Power and about the same level of comprehension, which I'm strengthening every day.

He on the other hand just has Low Ultimate Power but probably has around High Transended Comprehension. That's the same level as the Chief Gods in terms of knowledge and skill about their respective powers. This is the first time I have seen someone as 'broken' as him. After all a Low Ultimate fighter is a scrub to the current me. Yet here he is keeping me busy somewhat, I'm only allowing this because I want to see his trump card'

"What's Wrong! You aren't attacking! " Cain yelled out as he started to jab the space in front of him at high speed. The attacks were so fast that the 'tail' of the flying punch caught on fire because of the friction and the front bend space in front of it.

Isaiah quickly countered. He snapped his fingers a flurry of flying slash attacks formed out of nowhere and flew at Cain. Hitting the flaming punches mid-air. Canceling each other out

[LACERATE]

Another slash appeared on Cain. His weight doubled as he suddenly lost his balance and got sent flying by a sword slash

"Ahhhh. Man, that ability is such a cheat. Why don't you come closer, you coward!" Cain yelled out as the wounds on his body slowly started to heal. And the sword effect was slowly going away until it stopped.

' Heh, as if I am that stupid. Nobody with even a shred of intelligence would face me in a head-on fight. He is hiding something. And if he really joined forces with the Death Gods. Then he has access to the only thing that can cause serious damage to me. Samael's Poison. Even if Valerie decreased our Dragon Slaying weakness to the point it doesn't even matter. The poison is still dangerous to us since it has a soul-corrupting element as well.

I will just tire him out as I learn about his attack patterns. Sooner or later he will mess up. I don't plan on letting a chance like that slip by me.

He really is troublesome to fight against. Immortal, slow healing and my various sword effects aren't working on him for some reason. But then again, he is like thousands of years old. And he is the Son of ADAM. So it's kind of expected to reach this level if he was constantly training.

At least Kurama managed to slip away and not get caught up by these fools, since they are obviously stalling for time. He is quite sharp at noticing things like this. He can handle whatever plan they have got cooked up.

~ Hachiman

In the initial landing zone. The Shinto God of Archery Hachiman was facing off against Dino, Valerie, Yasaka, and Ingivild.

And surprisingly he was managing to keep them busy.

Hatchiman was 'kiting' them and used dirty tactics. He was raining down arrows at them while using short bursts of speed to escape attacks. He even rained arrows upon the Nexus Army. Forcing the 'Generals' to cancel out his attacks.

'How troublesome' Dino sighed internally as he was trading arrows with the Shito God.

Every once in a while he had to move his position as an especially powerful arrow was fired directly at him. 'I think this is called 'Kyudo' in Japan. The Art of Archery. Total focus with each arrow shot. But he seems especially on wary of me'

[Well you are the one with the God Killing Spear] Vritra commented in a lazy tone

'Oh right.' Dino mused as Ingivild and Yasaka were defending against Hachiman's barrage while occasionally taking shots at him.

"UGHH! Why is he so annoying?! Isn't he supposed to be some great Guardian of Japan? How can he fight so dirty" She made a 5-meter thick ice wall filled with magic to stop a precise shot to her head from behind. "And he is teleporting and curving his arrows!"

Yasaka smiled a bit as she roared out a sea of Fox Flames "You are expecting a God to play fair? A little naive Ing-chan. They invented cheating, before even the devils"

Yasaka moved quickly and caught an arrow heading toward her 'nicely shaped butt'. More specifically the base of her tails. " See. No honor at all" she snapped the arrow in half "My Fox Form won't be any use here. I would just give him a bigger target"

*Bang*

Valerie used one of her concentrated blood bullets. And grazed Hatchiman right as he appeared in his new location. She predicted where he would move.

"Hoo. A sniper. This just got more interesting. And a Dhampir at that" Hatchiman smiled as he now realized that 2 out of his 4 opponents were weak to 'holy/light' attacks. So that's exactly the kind of arrows he created

Hachiman smiled as he pointed his bow to the sky and shot five arrows at once which was completely opposite of what 'Kyudo' is about.

"HAH?!" Dino yelled out in a confused voice.

[Dino FOCUS!]

The five arrows in the air exploded as all of a sudden a hundred thousand arrows decended upon them and both the armies. Hatchiman obviously didn't care about his troops. They were just there to keep the Nexus army busy.

"Let's see how you handle this" Hachiman pulled on his arrow as it shined brightly. Filled with divine energy focusing on purification.

At that moment the hundred thousand arrows that were falling down started to glow in different colors like fireworks. Dino, Valerie, Ingivild and Yasaka quickly closed their eyes in pain, from their sight being overwhelmed.

*FEWWWW*

The arrow flew straight at Valerie whose eyes widened in surprise but she reacted quickly despite her blurry vision.

"Arise"

A bunch of dark matter formed around her and started shaping. Suddenly a draconic hand appeared and blocked the shot. Some of the energy from the arrow still hit Valerie

Hachiman frowned. 'A dragon?'

The dragon moved its hand and showed Valerie glaring at her attacker

'And the arrow had no effect? This should be impossible. With how weak the Dhampir is compared to me, there is no way my arrows won't have any effect at all... Unlesss. I see, she is the one. The holder of Sephiroth Graal. This does explain the Dragon, she didn't summon it with ordinary means, she revived it. That means they have erased their weaknesses. Troublesome'

Even though the fight just got more difficult, Hachiman felt no pressure. He was one of the strongest Gods in the Shinto Pantheon. That, and the fact that he cheats.

"Bastard" Dino got angry because of that cheap shot. His eyes were stinging a bit. Some of their army was hit, As yokai have sharp eyesight. Most of them relied on their other instinct to dodge, some weren't as lucky but the damage wasn't that big, The arrows themselves were made for a distraction. So they didn't contain a lot of power.

"He is stalling for time" Yasaka growled out, she had realized that they couldn't even leave.

The next few minutes were just pure frustration for them.

Ingivild and Yasaka were spamming as much magic as they could. But they could not get past his arrow barrage. Yasaka tried many times to get into close combat with him as it was her strong point. But the god either ran away or just used some special arrows to keep her away.

Valerie was using her blood magic and dragons. But each time she made a few dragons an Arrow would hit both eyes and destroy the dragon. Forcing Valerie to use more mana to reanimate it.

Ingivild had tried to go back and deal with the enemy army. Since she is a Leviathan and she excels in AOE combat. Her spells are best used against a large number of people. She had some success as she pushed back their army. But Hachiman would shoot his supercharged divine arrows at her cutting her off when she tried to make some serious progress.

But it was not like they did nothing. Hatchiman was facing against 3 people with Longinuss class Sacred Gears as well as Yasaka. Even if he is the Guardian of Japan. He can't keep this tempo for long. His clothes were damaged and burnt. His hair was out of place, he was sweating like crazy and he had shallow wounds all over his body. He was fighting them at 50% capacity.

Even then things weren't going their way. Hachiman has a LOT more experience than all of them combined. Yasaka might be old and powerful. But she hasn't been in that many battles in her lifetime. She inherited her position from her mother. So she only needed to defend her position

Hachiman has fought for millennia, and it showed in the way he fought.

The only reason why Nexus hasn't gone all despite how weakened Hachiman is, is because of Isaiah's warning.

"Ahhhh, that smirk on his face pisses me off. I need to do something or I will go crazy. Yo Valerie! You can bring me back even if I die right?" Dino yelled out

Valerie looked surprised but quickly composed herself "Yeah. Try not to overdo it."

"Oi, Dino. Remember Isaiah's warning " Ingivild called out but Dino just got a mad grin on his face

'Isaiah's warning is the reason we are fighting so safely to begin with Samael's Poison could possibly prevent Valerie from bringing us back or healing us. But I'm in dire need of sleep so I'm going to ignore that. If I do get poisoned I'll just cut off that limb or part. And sleep while the others heal me'

" I'm going all out. Vritra! I'm going to skewer him and then cook him with your flames"

[Dino calm down. Something isn't right] Vritra called out [ You are normally not this aggressive]

However just as Vritra said that. Hatchiman mockingly smirked at Dino. Causing him to get even more frustrated

[BALANCE BREAK: Holy Draconic Lancer] Dino yelled out and the sky flashed white.

Dino donned his Draconic Armor and raised his spear and charged with his increased speed.

"Sea Serpent of the End" Ingivild called out a huge Water Leviathan formed

"Arize" "Blood Magic. Increase" "Dragon Breath Barrage"

Valerie quickly revived some dragons and used her blood magic on them. Their veins started to glow red. So much so that you could see them through the scales. The Dragons roared out Blood Red Flames at the God.

"You young people are so impatient" Hatchiman started firing off arrows at an even bigger pace. While trying to dodge. But all of the attacks were widespread. So there weren't many places for him to run.

Dino slashed at most of the arrows but a few grazed his armor. The scratched areas started to slowly sizzle and dissolve

[Dino, the arrows are tipped with a diluted version of Samael's poison] Vritra called out

"So Isaiah was half-right. No matter. I'll finish it before the poison reaches my skin." Dino shot dozens of Light Swords at Hachiman and teleported right in front of the direction the god dodged.

The True Longinus is capable of Killing Gods and Buddhas. Now that Hachiman was in Dino's range, he wasn't going to escape that easily. Not to mention the other attacks have arrived. First was the Water Leviathan. But then Hatchiman did something unthinkable. He threw his bow in the air and used his hands to grab the Leviathan.

"I am a God of War! Don't underestimate me you brats!" Hatchiman threw the Water Serpent into the Blood Red Fire Tsunami. Causing a Steam explosion.

Yasaka used this moment to use her Senjitsu to quickly sneak up on Hatchiman. She slashed at his back with her burning claws but he sensed it so he leaned forward. Hatchiman got hit but the wounds weren't so bad. They were shallow and the flame cauterized the wound. The KI that was left in his body was immediately dispelled with his divine energy,

He grabbed his bow and turned releasing an arrow that hit Yasaka in the stomach sending her flying back.

"Got ya bitch!" Dino yelled out, coming from behind Hachiman, who was horizontally positioned in mid-air since he dodged Yasaka. Dino swung his spear at him, and Hachiman was forced to block with his bow. And that's when he lost the initiative. Dino started to swing the spear around his arms blurring.

Hachiman tried his best to block, but Dino found an opening and stabbed Hatchiman in the stomach above the hips. But in a turn of surprise, Hatchiman ran at Dino with the spear going through him. 

"No, I believe I got you!" He flicked his wrist and a black dagger shot out which he grabbed with his right hand and stabbed Dino's left arm. Right through the Scale Mail.

"AGGHHHHHHH" Dino screamed out in pain. 

[DINO!] Vritra yelled

"DINO THE POISON IS INFECTING YOUR SOUL!" Valerie rushed to him trying to stop the poison from spreading

Ingivild and Yasaka weren't just standing there. Hachiman was injured, and they weren't about to let him run away. The tables had turned now they were keeping him boxed in, unable to escape.

Dino released his Scale Mail and saw how the poison was spreading and his arm was becoming violet-black. 

Without flinching called upon the full power of the True Longinus and slashed right on his Biceps. Severing his own arm. "Grab it" he gruned out in pain. 

Valerie created a barrier box and caught the severed arm. The poison was starting to even erode the barrier. 

[I told you to wait! Something was influencing your emotions!] Vritra yelled out in anger. [ You just cut off a piece of your soul!] 

Dino flinched and looked at Valarie who shook her head "Vritra is right. He sensed it first because he is connected directly to your soul. Your arm is gone, permanently. There is nothing for me to revive. It's like the soul part of your arm has been erased. As far as you as a being is concerned you were born without your left arm. Ugh how can you be so stupid" Even though Valerie was scolding him, she was already closing the wound on his arm, double-checking if there was any trace of poison in his soul.

Dino looked at his arm before sighing. " I see, thanks. I feel better, and more clear-headed. I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake. But still, I never noticed a thing. How did they manipulate me like that?" 

[ I don't know. What is more frightening is that I didn't notice anything either. I just picked up the anomalies in your behavior. There was no energy signal. It makes sense. It must have been from the start of the fight. You haven't used a single ability of the True Longinus. I thought you were keeping them secret but it appears you were manipulated into forgetting them.]

Dino clenched his hand around the spear. He was manipulated, like a puppet. 

[ Dino I understand it's hard. But this isn't the time for this. Go finish off Hachiman] 

Dino looked at where Yasaka and Ingivild were blasting Hatchiman who was on his last legs. Dino grunted as he stood up. His spear shining brightly, he slowly started to walk towards the god.

Hachiman was barely standing. He was bloodied up and his legs trembled slightly to support his own weight. He saw that Dino was still alive and clicked his tongue.

'Guess I couldn't get rid of the Holy Emperor. Sigh it will take a while before I am revived. I need to stall a bit more for the signal. Team Zero still hasn't achieved their purpose.' 

Hachiman quickly pulled out a crimson-red arrow that had a heart-shaped arrow. He 'loaded' the arrow and pulled. But for some reason, he was pointing in the opposite direction of Dino and the rest

"What is the meaning of this?" Yasaka called out

Hachiman merely smiled and let go of the bow and arrow. Suprising the rest as it kept floating in the air in the same drawn position. 

"This arrow is pointed at someone. It's a certain kill. If you kill me that arrow will fly true and strike someone down. Someone important"

Ingivild raised an eyebrow "You think we will let you live? Let alone believe in your words"

Hachiman spread his arms "I have no reason to lie, yes If I had the ability to just kill someone like this, we never would have gotten in this position, but that arrow isn't mine. It's the arrow that allows me to bargain with you like this. Now how abo-"

*WHOOOSSH* *PUCHI*

Hachiman froze, he looked in disbelief as Dino pierced him in the throat with the True Longinus. He looked down at the God despite missing an arm.

"Like I care. If you think I'll allow you to go to hell and be resurrected by Izanami you have another thing coming pal" Dino took a deep breath

[O Spear. The true Holy Spear which pierces through God.

Suck the ambition of the King of Domination sleeping within me and pierce through the gap of blessing and destruction.

You. Announce the will, and turn into a glow!

Truth Idea!]

The True Longinus shone brightly. All of the light gathered at the tip and engulfed Hatchiman who froze as he felt something judging him.

After a moment, which felt like an eternity. The feeling stopped and the white light started to break apart his body and soul. Everywhere it passed he was reduced to small white orbs that disappeared after a few seconds.

Hatchiman looked in horror as he was slowly getting erased. He knew there was no coming back from this. He took one final look at his enemies.

" I hope all of you have an even worse death than this. NEXUS has grown too strong, too fast. You are going to be destroyed by your own achievements. Enjoy these last moments of peace. Too bad I won't be there to see the moment where you lose everything you have" Hachiman spat at them.

They quietly stared at the God until his entire body turned into small white lights before disappearing completely. Never to be revived again.

"Ahhh, finally over. Man that was such a pain. I even lost an arm" Dino whined as he canceled his balance breaker

The moment he did, the Red Arrow was released, it flew into the sky and pierced it, entering the Dimensional Gap and disappearing somewhere

Valerie quickly appeared near Dino and smacked him on the head "You IDIOT! You just lost an arm and a part of your soul. And what was your bright idea?! To go into Juggernaut Drive! How can you be so-!" 

Yasaka quickly interrupted Valerie "Valerie-san, leave poor Dino alone. He needs his strength for when Meredith gets ahold of him. That girl will definitely punish Dino for his stupid decisions."

"And this isn't the time or place to argue" Ingivild pointed below them in the distance.

Their armies were still fighting.

Dino winced when he thought of Meredith "Ahh what a drag. Let's finish up quickly. I have a feeling that I'm not going to get any sleep later so I'd rather finish up here and go take a nap before the yelling starts"

Dino flew to where the armies were fighting, Yasaka, Ingivild, and Valerie looked at each other before going after him.
