*pov leona phoenix*

"Eh why do I have to go to some rat's birthday party!" I shouted at my father as he looked at me exasperated.

"Because the rat as you call him is Lucifer's son and a Gremory who are close allies of ours." He explained

"And, just because Lucifer's a monster doesn't mean his spawn will be." I pushed. 'Why would I go to some stupid party for some stuck up brat when I could be training. I have to catch the ancestors attention so she will take me under her wing!'

"Dammit Leona! You are going and that is final!" He finally shouted at me but I ignored him.

'Weakling.' She internally scoffed. 'Close to being a thousand years old yet you sat in your ass the whole time letting yourself sit at mid high class.' She thought in derision. "And if I don't what you ganna do." I mocked Gritting his teeth he glared at me but I just raised an eyebrow and released my own demonic energy matching his. "I'm 16 and I've reached your level already." I scoffed at the old fool.

"Oh really you don't want to go?" Asked another voice to my side.

Looking over I noticed my oldest brother and rival ruval phoenix entering the training yard to join us. "No im not going to some pompous party for lucy jr."

Nodding ruval put on a sad face and spoke "than I guess you won't be able to meet the ancestor than." He drawled deliberately slowly.

Snapping my eyes open wide I rushed next to him and asked "the fuck you mean! What does some rats birthday party have to do the ancestor."

"Oh nothing much…" he drawled on

"Hurry up and shit it out you fuck!" I growled out as my flames ignited behind me.

Rolling his eyes ruval revealed. "Lord Lucifer went and convinced the ancestor to attend his sons birthday party. She'll be here in a few hours before we head out to the gremory mansion."

Widening my eyes I smiled and let out a cackle "Yes I will show her that I'm ready to be her student this time!" I announced as I ran off. 'I need to get ready so I can show her how much I've grown!'

*rhaela pov*

Exiting from the clouds I spotted the phoenix mansion. Seeing the home I built using all the gold I stole from the gods and other creatures and people I killed over the ages I smiled. 'Let's see what were the kids names again, uhh shit they had ruble, dufas, and the little lion right.' I thought as I nodded my head 'sounds about right.'

Executing a nose dive I plunged down towards the ground going faster than the speed of sound. Before slamming into the ground I twisted and landed on my feet while spreading out my wings. Slowing down to an acceptable speed I landed on the ground only slightly cracking it. 'Good I'd rather my daughter not throw another of her pussy fits over some cracked floor. I'm boo who I created a 20 feet crater on your lawn, just order some slaves to fix it. Oh right we don't have slaves anymore well not in the surface at least. I know I have some pleasure slaves somewhere.' But shaking those thoughts off as I spotted four of my descendants walk up to me. 'Out of all the kids I've had over the centuries only six inherited the clan trait. And all but one are dead.'

"Mother welcome home." My daughter greeted

"Yes welcome home grandma." The other three greeted me.

Nodding I looked over them. "Rheina, Neros, Ruble, Dufas, and uhh didn't you have the little chick?" I asked looking around. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted ruble and dufas twich 'what's with them?' I asked my self but ignored them.

"Ah yes Leona wanted to surprise—" my daughter started but was cut off by the sound of an explosion

*crack*

"Hmm?" Looking up I saw a bright red and orange flame falling from the sky.

"AAAAAAHGHHHHHH!" I heard the flame screaming as it increased in speed and the flames increased in intensity.

Smiling I gave a nod of approval "mid high class huh? It's been barely 10 years yet she's already better than half of you." I spoke making eye contact eith Neros and dufas before focusing back on the falling commet err falling granddaughter.

"My yard!" I heard my daughter bust out in rage as her demonic power which was only mid ultimate burst out. 'Sigh why does everyone give up once they reach ultimate class?' I questioned myself on why my descendants were such disappointments. 'Maybe I should take a more hands on approach with the little lion.' I thought 'yes that could work if little Zechs brat is worth a shit he'll need a training partner.' I thought nodding to my self as the flaming girl came within punching distance her arm outstretched and her fist smashing into my cheek. I cut off my demonic energy canceling my regeneration as I felt the punch connecting.

As the explosion cleared a minute later blew away all the dust clouds to find a passed out and nude girl in my arms. Raising my hand to my cheek pulled it back to spot a drop of blood. "You made me bleed child well done." I nodded 'she'll do.' I thought a smile forming on my lips. "Now let's go we have to get the runts birthday party! The sooner we get there the sooner I can leave." I announced as I conjured another set of clothes for the young lion.

Seeing the gremory mansion or should be called castle coming into view I smiled 'the sooner we get done with this party the sooner I can leave with the ancestor. Hmm but I do wonder if any of the other young devils could entertain me. I can start an argument or bait one of those dumbasses into one and than goad them into a rating game.' I thought

*scene change*

Waiting outside the ball room my eyes were met with the sight of a trio of green heads. 'Daren and Liliana Astaroth, along with Ajuka beelzbub.' I thought as I watched the ancestor push pass three greennets

"Move it kids and ajuka I'm going first!" She announced as I watched the three move away with ajuka shuddering as her voice reached him. The ancestor paid him no heed as she but into the ball room.

Walking into the ball room I let my eyes roam around I can see the glasya labolas clan head along with his wife and daughter. 'Peak high class, low high class, and huh…' her thoughts trailed off as she gave Arianne I scrutinizing look. 'How the fuck are you 16 and low class?' She questioned herself.

Shaking her head she looked around until her gaze landed on the sitri group. Where lord sitri, lady sitri, Maya sitri, and finally Serafall leviathan were sitting. 'Let's see peak high class, peak high class… woah ultimate class, and lady leviathan…I can't even feel her power.' I thought as a feral smile appeared on my lips. 'I can't wait! I'll fight them all!' She thought but as if someone was whispering in her ear her head shot to the right as she started up at one of the chandelier's. She didn't know why but she felt as if she could see a young silvery grey haired boy staring right back at her challenging her with the oh so familiar smile on his face.
