Having those things cleared up, Vasco sighed in relief.

"Father Vasco, how is Brother Cao Cao's performance?" Asia asked the old priest.

Hearing this, the Apex of Humanity froze for a moment before letting out a hearty laugh, "He passed with flying colors! He is certainly qualified to be an Exorcist."

Cao Cao's lips twitch after hearing that. This old man is shameless. He calls that passing when he loses badly.

Sensing Cao Cao's dissatisfaction, Vasco smirked and said, "Don't be too down about it young man. Your skills are one of a kind, there are few of your matches in the Vatican."

"You still have room to grow and since you're going to be an Exorcist, you'll receive the best training our Church has to offer."

"Just like that?" Cao Cao was surprised. Although he knows that the test part is probably bullshit, it's still good news.

One of his objectives is done.

"Just like that." The old priest nodded, "We don't reject talents, only nurture it."

That wasn't surprising for the hero descendant. Currently, Heaven and Girgori are in a massive advantage against the Devil Faction. They need all the forces they can get.

Seeing the young man still staring, Vasco thought that he's probably still thinking about his loss.

"As for your skill, don't beat yourself too much. I guarantee you that you've done better than what I expected." He comforted.

Cao Cao snorted but smiled after. He didn't bring out his true cards but Vasco still hasn't used his techniques and Durandal. He may be good at close combat but he's still a swordsman first and foremost.

"Can she join as well?" He turned his head at the Dhampir.

Vasco looked at her for a moment before slowly nodding. Anyway, since he's a companion, she certainly wouldn't be weak right?

He also feels a little bit of holy aura on her. A natural holy sword wielder perhaps?

"Did you see that Valerie? You got accepted." The hero descendant gave her a thumbs up.

The Dhampir rolled her eyes but also gave her own thumbs up.

Seeing the atmosphere finally return to normal, Asia darted between them and finally turned to the priest.

"Father Vasco, I-I also want to be an Exorcist!" Asia exclaimed with a determined expression.

Vasco's eyes widened in surprise.

"Asia, are you sure?" But before he could say anything, the hero descendant had already spoken.

Valerie on the other hand was surprised but for a different reason. It was just a week that Asia was cautious around them but now she wants to come with them? And it wasn't even like her who needed Cao Cao's shelter but actually at her own free will.

She once asked Cao Cao of the chances that Asia would really come with them, she wasn't really that optimistic considering that she's a healer and not that experienced in terms of brutality.

He said that if things go right, then she would surely follow.

She rejected the notion that the nun would come with them but the hero descendant proved her wrong.

The Dhampir took another look at Cao Cao's before sighing. Humans are weird.

"We will talk about that later Asia. For now, why don't I talk with your brother, about his application of course. Same with the young lady here." Vasco smiled.

Seeing that the old priest didn't reject, the Holy Maiden smiled widely.

Nodding, she ran away back to the Church.

Seeing this, Vasco sighed before turning back to the both of them.

"I don't know much about the young lady but you, young man, have certainly passed." The Apex of Humanity smiled at him.

"Did I really pass or it's just an excuse you gave to Asia?" The hero descendant raised his eyebrow.

Instead of getting offended, Vasco merely laughed, "Well, it was supposed to be something like that but after witnessing your skill, I decided to test you as well. You saying that you want to be an Exorcist just gave me leverage."

Cao Cao sighed. It went better than expected.

"So when will we go to the Vatican?" He asked.

"We will go right now." The old priest replied.

"What about Asia….?" Valerie opened her mouth to ask which surprised the priest.

"She'll be coming too, it's her choice." The Apex of Humanity said helplessly. It's also for the better that she isn't bound by this single church. She might resent the people here due to their strictness.

And maybe it's time to let her see the world. Before she's the Holy Maiden of the Church, she's a little girl first.

"We'll leave as soon as Asia is done." The sooner the better, that's what Vasco thought.

Asia Argento isn't the one who has a lot of desires in her life. As long as she can help people, she's happy.

From there, along with the blonde big sister, they went around the city trying snacks while the big brother tells her stories about his adventure. Although it confused her that he's the only one speaking, she quickly forgot when the handsome big brother told her about some fascinating things that she also wanted to see.

At that moment, the yearning appeared again.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to and end, they will leave and probably never see each other again.

As she was about to say her goodbyes, she heard Father Vasco's voice. The priest who always treated her gently and protected her, contrary to the nuns in the Church.

She was overjoyed when she heard him and wanted to quickly ask him about something. Sadly, he didn't share the same sentiment with her but went to Big Brother Cao Cao instead.

Although she was confused, she still obeyed. Maybe they just wanna talk about something?

She thought a lot of things but fighting wasn't one of them. She was angry that Father Vasco fought brother Cao Cao. As for who started? Can brother Cao Cao start a fight?

It must be Father Vasco who started it.

For the first time, she felt angry. She wanted to ask why Father Vasco attacked her friend but all of that anger came down when she heard that brother Cao Cao is applying as an Exorcist.

It's the same with Sister Valerie as well, they are going to apply in the Vatican.

Maybe this is her chance!

She quickly asked Father Vasco about it and seeing that he didn't deny, she was happy.

She can finally go with her friends.
