Ch8: Reactions, gains and departure

(3rd pov)

(Location: Underworld: Flying city of Agreas)

The Agreas city is a large city that is located in the Agares territory which is being maintained by the servants of the current Beelzebub. It has a distinctive feature in which it appears to be a large floating island suspended in the sky.

A popular tourist resort, it is also the place that controls the flow of the air in the Underworld. The Agreas is a place that has the technology of the Original Satans and contains the essential crystals of the highest quality that is used to create evil pieces, and in the future Brave Saints.

Currently, in this location, the 4 satans are having a meeting about the latest event some hours ago.

" So, does anyone know what the hell is going on? Was this some sort of attack? A newly developed weapon? or just the angels trying to reactivate the system to its full power?" said Fablium Asmodeus, the Satan in charge of military affairs, who is completely awake unlike usual.

" We really don't know what was the cause or the goal for this action, although I would like to ask Micheal, we are still preparing for the peace talks and so still considered in a cold war of sorts. Ajuka, what did you find out from your analysis?" said Sirzechs Lucifer, the Satan of domestic affairs and one of the top 10 strongest beings in this universe.

" We may have a problem in this one, during this whole event I have detected several anomalies in both the Underworld and heaven, let me show you this. Grayfia, of you will" said Ajuka Beelzebub, Chief Advisor for the Technology Department and also one of the top 10 strongest, although unlike Sirzechs, his power is more focused on creation, he is the most feared out of all the current satans in the supernatural world.

" As you wish Beelzebub-sama" said Grayfia Lucifage, maid and wife of Sirzechs Lucifer, a Satan-class and a defector of the Old-Satan faction. After she said that, she went over and activated a crystal that acted as a projector, showing several pictures.

" Nehh Ajuka-chan, what's this supposed to be?" asked Serafall Leviathen, the strongest female devil and a Satan-class being too.

" Calm down and listen to me. As you can see in the photos and videos, this is the Underworld during this whole incident, you can easily notice the difference before and after. The current miasma and demonic energy of the Underworld was agitated during the incident, as all the shadows and darkness within the realm begin dancing and writhing. Now there was no casualties or anything of the sort but this phenomenon continued until the end of this event" having stopped to switch the photos to that of the heavens, he continued.

" As you can see, the cause of this whole incident is from the realm of Heaven. Several hours ago, the realm itself begin shaking, if I had to guess I would say its because Michael for whatever reason relinquished control of God's system. Anyways, after a period of shaking, the whole realm seemed to glow as, from what I gathered from the older devils, Zekram in particular, the System started operating at full power again for the duration of this event. Now before you jump into conclusions, no the God of the Bible isn't back, and no the system was shut off again to its current state, but I suppose some of the bugs in the system would have been fixed. That's all I have to say" after which he sat down and started to tinker with his phone.

" So in summary, we don't have any clear clue on the cause of all of this? Except its somewhat relayed to God's system? Ahhh well, whatever. Since it had no effects or damage we will just keep monitoring for now, but limit all devils actions in the human world for the next 5 years." said Sirzechs, before standing up and departing, with the other 2 following behind since they gave a lot of work to do.

(Location: Bael territory)

In the Bael territory, belonging to the highest ranking of the remaining 32 of the original 72 Ars Goetia, we can see a middle-aged looking man with black hair and peaceful violet eyes wearing a noble attire. This is Zekram Bael, some consider him to be the actual leader of the Underworld, whose influence is stronger than even the Satans. He is the the first Bael, created by Lucifer from Lilith, and having seen all that there is in the Underworld. Said man is currently looking at the sky and smiling.

" Ahhhh this feeling, how long has it been since I felt this darkness, when looking at mother? Or maybe it was when I first saw his Majesty Lucifer-sama? It doesn't matter, what does matter however is that the Kabbalah seems to have b1een re-established in the system, although it seems to still be lacking something. Oh well, it seems that things are going to be very interesting in this upcoming years." Saying this he looked behind him and waved his hand, causing the world to shift a little as a projection of an upside looking tree with 10 demonic names engraved on it manifested in front him.

(Location: Underworld: Grigori territory)

In the main headquarters of the Grigori, sitting aroumd a table were 7 people, each being atleast a Satan-class cadre.

" So you all felt that, huh." Said Azazel, leader of Grigori and the first to fall, he is a 12 winged fallen angel.

" Yes, we all felt it, God's system activation and the demonic energy going rampart" said Baraquiel, the lightning of God, and a super M in the bed.

" But that's not all of it isn't it? Baraquiel, Azazel and Kokabiel, you all still have a connection to the heaven like me, so you must've felt it. The Kabbalah system" said Shemhazai, vice governor of Grigori, hearing that, most of the people on the table seemed to take a sharp inhale.

" Indeed I have felt it, but I have an even more surprising piece of news" exclaimed Kokabiel, fallen angel of the stars. When he saw all of them focused on him, he said.

" As you know, my domain on the stars is still keeping me connected to the 2nd heaven, and with it I have some exceptional divination abilities. But during this event, I seemed to have been cut off from my connection with the stars, but before that can happen I was was able to glimpse the reason because it was somewhat related to my domain" he explained before saying.

" It was an angel, whatever Michael and the others were doing, they were able to raise a new angel whose domain was over the Abyss, the domain in which my own domain lies." There was no voice in the room after this bomb was dropped, until it was broken by one of the Cadres asking.

" Doesn't all the souls and sacred gears pass through the Abyss? Isn't it a domain connected to Death, Stars, the Deep, Nothingness and Knowledge?" Sahariel, a 10 winged cadre, asked. Hearing this, another silence enveloped the room until it was broken again by a chuckle.

" Hehehehehe, it seems that Micheal and the rest were able to raise an angel that will be able to deal with most of the errors in the system. Interesting, very interesting. Maybe I should meet him to ask about the sacred gear system and how it is going." listening to what their boss is plotting, most of them just shook their head before Shemhazai said.

" But enough about that, we have another reason for our meeting. Satanael has gone too far in one of his experiment and is now declared a rogue. But before we were able to apprehend him, he was able to teleport away. Tracking his aura led us to believe he is in Japan." most of them weren't surprised at the news since Satanael has been on odds with the organisation for a while now.

" Japan huh, reminds me of that kid with the black blade. Welp don't worry about it, I and Baraquiel will be handling this matter since both of us already have some business in Japan" said Azazel looking at Baraquiel teasingly, which made the latter cough to hide his embarrassment.

" But still, you all feel it right. It seemed that there will be great turbulences in the near future" said Azazel, as all of them nodded before continuing with the meeting about other topics.

(MC pov)

Waking up from my slumber, I found myself under an unfamiliar roof, looking around I was in a white beautiful room with golden decoration and the like. Sitting up, I started to remember everything that happened before this. After quickly organising my thoughts, I stood up from the bed, my clothes having shape-shifted to something comfy before I ordered to them to return to their normal form. After which, I channeled some energy into my back making 4 pairs of white wings emerge from it and a golden halo to appear above my head. Trying to move them, I was surprised to see how natural it felt to me, almost as if I had them my whole life, flapping them a little and channeling more energy I began to float a little before stopping myself from going any higher.

Looking up at my halo, I begin to feel what it is and wasn't surprised to see it's both a crystallisation of God's divinity and a connection to his system. I began messing around a little with my newfound flying ability, swimming in the air and doing a moonwalk just because. After which I sat down on my bed, and started mediating to see all the changes in me.

The first thing I noticed is my soul, previously it was a transparent white humanoid shape of me, now it seems to have gained a golden hue and in the middle of it, attached to my magical core is a golden orb that i was able to identify as the Holy Grail, next was my bond with Ascalon, previously it was a somewhat frail thing that can only transmit holy power to me, but now the bond was solidified to an absurd degree and I actually felt that I can pull on the Ascalon's dragon slayer attributes and imbue them in my attacks which is really a great thing since it means that I can now make all my spells ambe Anti-dragon.

Next is Annihilation Maker, from what I am seeing, it seems that instead of just being attached to my soul, our bond seems to have gone deeper into my soul until it reached the holy grail at the centre of my very being, if you look at it closely you can see it almost looked like the bond is the roots of a tree spreading and attaching themselves to my soul, and the funny thing is, instead of them sucking out power of my soul or something like that, it seems that instead they are strengthening it making it stronger, more stable and independent.

And attached to my soul from the other side in the same way as the sacred gear, but instead of black tree roots it looked more like golden ones, is the Sephiroth tree, I don't exactly know how I'm going to use it though since the principle of life, death and souls are in the Sephiroth Graal. Hmmmm, maybe if I came into contact with it I will be able to copy those principles, well it seems going to visit Romania in the future.

But apart from those, I was able to feel my life-force, Ki or whatever you call it have been practically multiplied by 100, making my lifespan in the realm of 13000 years or so, which made it somewhat hard to control it but that's okay since I'll just need to retrain my Senjetsu, and since I will have access to heaven, I won't have to be afraid from any of the corrupting forces.

Now that I really focused, I was feeling some sort of new energy in me, more potent than even my life-force, and it seems to be supplied from my halo to my body and wings, I can feel I'm capable of generating it, but at very low rates, so this must be Telesma huh, it really is on a different league from all other types of energies I have encountered. In fact, from what I am able to gather, it seems that using it to create my beasts will make the process way way easier, more efficient and faster than ever. Thinking about it, I opened my status and was actually surprised by how much it changed.

Looking at all of this, I just stood up and tried to compose myself from all of the excitement I was feeling about the power I now has in my hand.

After which I asked the system.

' System, shouldn't you be blocking any and all mental interference if I didn't want it?'

[ Yes host, and before you ask, yes I indeed can block God's system from monitoring you so you don't have to be afraid of mind reading, brainwashing or becoming a fallen no matter what you do] hearing this, my grin turned so wide it started hurting but I couldn't care about that, but then I remembered something else.

' Hey system, why isn't the mission completed? I already am comparable to a Satan-class being, not to mention I have 4 Satan-class beasts at my beck and call' to which the system answered.

[ The mission will only be completed when the host officially become a Satan-class without counting the sacred gear, so in your current case it's gaining another pair of wings] hearing this I jst nodded, since it won't really be that hard to reach Satan class in atmost 3 years, the only reason why I am not actually one is because I was not yet attuned with my domain as an angel. As I was thinking about all this, the door of my room was opened and Gabriel standing there.

" Good morning, I see you are already awake. So how are you feeling?" she greeted me and asked after she took a seat near the bed where I was sitting.

" I'm used to waking up early, and yeah I'm fine, more than fine actually" I answered as I start twitching my wings, making her smile.

" Well then, we would have liked to have you tour in heaven but you still have your mission so we won't be stopping you. By the way, we would like for you to conceal the fact that you became an angel, you can tell it to your close one's but we just don't want the whole supernatural to know about it yet" she asked, to which I just nodded.

" Well then, good luck on your mission and I hope you will come back soon so that we can do our tour in heaven" Saying so, she pointed at me making a magic circle materialise under my feet which quickly teleported me away.
