Worst Possibility

John laughed at Clara's words.

"Oh, so you think my family and I are haunting you? How dare you, Clara. Have you forgotten that I could have punished you for what you said?" joked John, which was successful enough to make Clara smile again.

"Thank you, John," the girl said, caressing John's cheek and then kissing his lips.

"Why thank you? Later when I've managed to give you a baby."

Clara rolled her eyes. "Don't start. Not because of that, but because you've made me feel what it's like to have a family."

John nodded. Then he pulled Clara closer to him, licking her luscious lips long and deep enough that he could feel the sadness in Clara's heart. John then let go of the hook. He looked into the beautiful girl's blue eyes.

"You'll have them always, don't be sad anymore okay? We're here for you."

Clara chuckled, hearing John's words. Simple words that she had loved since she knew John. Unlike the John he knew the first time.
