Chapter 7: Mary

Mary's pov

I entered my room and there was no surprise. My bed was fine the way I left it.

With no surprises I decided to go to sleep. I haven't been at ease for the last few minutes or Days. I slowly crawled up onto my bed and closed my eyes to rest.

Few moments after shutting my eyes I heard a clanging sound. Quickly I opened my eyes out of fear and was hit by a new site.

I was sleeping in a hospital bed, dirty with no class at all, in a room similar to a hospital's patients room. the room was big enough to hold 10 patients. The beds next to me were disordered and some looked crushed. There was only one light in this room with about 7 more beds apart from mine.

' Where am I?' I thought shaking, shaking so much that I could hear my Teeth clicking.

' No, no, no, no!!! I don't wanna experience the pain of dying anymore' I thought to myself and held my head. I began to sob.

" Does it always have to be like this? I want my mummy"

A few minutes of crying I got off the bed and started to walk around

'Maybe I could find Oliver or Beatrice here'. While walking I accidentally stepped on something. It was hard like plastic. Looking down I noticed it was a flashlight. I picked it up and turned it on.

It works!.

Looking around the room with the flash light I could now see clearly. There were craters on the walls a bit bigger than my head. With few scratches here and there.

' what could have done this'.

After moving around there was nothing interesting to look at so I decided to move outside to look for somebody.

I opened the single door in the room and peaked outside. It was a hospital hallway.

The left leads to 2 large big doors which would always be the patient's room and the opposite way meets 2 hallways with the receptionist table at the side.

Walking slowly out of the room I approached the patient's room door and tried to open it. Unfortunately it was blocked by wood from the outside.

" Why just open?" I said to myself without yelling out loud.

I got tired and moved to the other way leading to the receptionist office.

I was moving slowly and clearly I was shaking. Who knows what might come from this place.

The moment I got to the edge receptionist office a creature came from the side. Immediately I was stunned!.

The creature had arms, many arms about 6 to 8 I can't remember. There were so many. No eyes or nose, just oversized big hands coming out from all sides.

I wanted to run but my legs wouldn't move. My mouth was left open at the site of it. My hands were shaking badly but It wasn't making a sound.

The creature didn't stay long and continued walking to wherever it was going. It looked to be stumbling in its movement. It was from the length of each arm. It was using 3 or so to walk, maybe all it wasn't easy to follow but some of the arms were short and didn't have the upper arm.

I just couldn't stop looking at it.

Once it was far away I relaxed myself and fell to the ground. It made a noise that alerted the creature immediately it was moving backwards. My eyes widened at the speed it was coming back with. It was almost 4 times faster than before. It leaped up in the air and smashed the ground but there was nothing, only a crater formed by its smash.

At this point I was hiding under the table of the receptionist. I held my mouth tightly so as not to make any sound and I turned the flash light off. The Hand creature realising nothing was there simply walked back to its path and continued. I waited till I couldn't hear a sound and got out.

I could still see it moving until it bumped into a wall and changed direction. At this point I have figured it out.

It couldn't see me but it depends on the sound to move and attack. So as long as I didn't make any sound I was free to go.

With that in mind I slowly walked down the hallway where it came. Placing one foot slowly after another. I met another creature on my way. I didn't make any sudden movements, however I was still frightened, shaking a little. If it weren't for me controlling myself I would have been heard due to all my shaking bones. I slowly backed up against the wall and the creature continued its way.

It seems the light doesn't alert them like the sound so I could use the flashlight to find them.

Slowly walking, I took a left turn that leads to another T hallway. There were no creatures on site. Gradually, just like what I've been doing, I walked down the path but I stopped when I heard something coming.

With every step it took it got louder. The little creatures couldn't be the ones making that sound. I couldn't move myself, maybe I've been careless thinking this place only had the little handy creatures. What if there was something more than that. Something bigger than that. I was shaking, my heart was pounding. What is it!?.

Then finally it came to view. It stopped moving after its head hit a hanging light. We were far from each other but the sight of it was scary.

It looked 3 times the height of a regular human and was buff, super buff. The muscles all over its body were too large yet somehow they were joined together and it took the form of a human.

I covered my mouth so tightly to not even make a sound because at any moment I could scream. My hands and legs were shaking so much you could almost hear the noise of my clanging bones. My teeth gave in and clanged together causing a click sound. Just then the monster turned and looked in my direction. The sound was at a volume where a normal person could only hear if we were close enough but somehow this monster heard it louder than anything.

It started to walk in my direction, taking one foot at a time. With each step a vibration could be felt. Little by little I took steps back not wanting to get hit by this creature. If the smaller ones were that strong, how much more of this one.

It went from walking to jogging then to Running. The vibrations now felt even more like an earthquake. At this moment I knew I had to run. Instantly I turned and ran like a crazy woman and dropped my flashlight accidentally. I ran so fast my leg couldn't keep its rhythm and I missed my steps and fell. I tried to get myself back up again but when I turned to look at the creature it had already leaped in the air with its two large arms up and swanged it the very moment it landed.

The impact hit my chest and broke all my ribs. My month was filled with blood flowing out. My body felt numb and I couldn't move. My bones were very broken and my ribs had parts pointing out. The monster raised its hand again and swanged it once more. I heard a big bang but there was nothing else.

Coming back again I appeared a few metres in front of the monster. Its hand was soaked in blood and when I looked down there was a large crater with blood Splattered everywhere. Seeing the scene I gasp and the monster raised its head and looked at me.

" No no no no no please don't do this!" I said walking back but it was too late. I was crush In one blow. I reappeared again a few metres In front of the monster again with a crater behind it and a pool of blood in Front of it.

I stayed on guard because I didn't want what happened to happen to me again. I slowly lean against a wall to not get in its way anymore. My hands covered my mouth and I crouched down against the wall and prayed for mercy.

The monster started moving again. As it walked the vibration could still be felt but since it was closer I could feel it more than I usually do. As it got closer I closed my eyes and prayed even more.

' I don't wanna Die, I don't wanna Die, I don't wanna Die here!' I ranged this multiple times In my head.

The movement had stopped moving, I opened my eyes to see Good luck but I was greeted with something else. The monster's face was looking directly into mine.

That's when I saw it, grey left eye and black eye. The grey was looking in a different direction and the black was looking right at me.

' It can see me!'

Its mouth has been sowed with thread. And the part where it's nose was to be had only 2 small holes.

At this point I was screaming but my hand was still covering my mouth. So you could only hear a faint scream.

The monster raised its hand and smashed me against the wall.

The process kept repeating.

" No please"

" Somebody help me!!"

" I can't take this anymore!"

" I'm gonna go crazy!!!"

" Help!!!!"

" Mummy!!!"

" Daddy…" I said, dragging myself on the floor. At this point my right arm was removed and my legs were broken. My eyes were soaked with water. BLood was dripping from my head. Behind me and monster around 60 crater with many hole made in the wall

" Oliver, Beatrice, Philip, Dave please save me. I beg of you… save me….."
