At the hospital, the nurse applied burn ointment and bandaged my hand, and I found him leaning against the door waiting for me.

"What burned you like this?" The nurse asked softly.

I glanced at him not far away and said, "I wanted to learn how to cook a meal, but I burned myself in a panic."

The nurse followed my gaze and smiled at him. She turned her head and asked me if I was cooking for him.

I hesitated for a moment before nodding.

I looked at him somewhat awkwardly.

The nurse looked at him and said, "Your girlfriend is really nice, cherish her."

He smiled too, with a very deceptive smile, "You're right."

He looked at me again, adding, "This is indeed my blessing."

I opened my mouth but didn't say anything.

Walking out of the dermatology department, I explained to him, "Because you said you would teach me billiards for free, I didn't have anything to repay you with, so I wanted to make dinner for you. I didn't expect to mess it up."
