"Elbow supported on the table."

"Legs apart."

"Lower your core."

A voice sounded from behind me. The man speaking was almost pressed up against me, and one hand was hovering over mine.

"Your stance needs some adjustment, otherwise you'll easily miss your aim."

As he spoke, he was almost whispering in my ear, and I could feel his warm breath on my skin.

He was my billiards coach.

He was teaching me the correct posture for playing billiards.

He wasn't one to teach others easily, and today I was deliberately looking for trouble.

"I'll try to throw a ball first. See if you can feel anything."

I coughed uncomfortably and said, "Okay."

He held my hand and lightly moved the cue, hitting the nearest white ball and making it collide with a ball near the far pocket with a clicking sound.

"Look, it went in just like that."

He chuckled and stood next to me, teasingly looking at me.

I felt the curious eyes of other students around us, and my face turned red.
