The Eternal Love

11

I seemed to be inside a thatched hut.

The wind howled outside the window. I was stuck and could only look out.

It felt like I was trapped in this body as if I only have a soul but can't control it.

And the body was moving on its own.

It was hugging its knees, trembling.

From my perspective, I was sitting on a straw mat, wearing a rough linen dress with wide sleeves.

As far as I could tell from my peripheral vision, no modern items were found in the surrounding decorations and furniture.

The door creaked open, letting in a gust of wind from outside.

The newcomer was dressed even more lightly than I was, with just a black garment clinging to his frame, buffeted by the wind. Since I kept my head down, I couldn't make out his features.

He came over and raised his hand to stroke my hair.

"Did you have a good meal today, my dear?"

.

Well, it was Aaron's voice.

I never would've thought that someone so aloof could speak with such a gentle, sickly sweet tone.
