Frank showed me the wound from Robert's beating. It hadn't healed after so many days, which showed that he had been badly beaten.

I took a look and said, "Okay, we're even now. I don't hold any grudges against you, and you don't put the blame on Robert."

Frank's eyes widened, "What the hell? My injury is much more serious."

I had no expression on my face, "Do you agree or not?"

He waved his hand helplessly, "OK."

Frank and I sat on the balcony for a long time. There were no more latecomers downstairs. At this point, it was bedtime for everyone.

However, Johnson had escaped.

I didn't know how long we sat there. Frank asked me softly, "Johnson ran away. What are you going to do?"

I gently touched the red marks on my wrist, "I will go to court tomorrow, shut down the laboratory, and arrest Johnson."

While we were talking, Robert woke up. He opened the door and came out. When he saw Frank and me on the balcony, he suddenly looked unhappy.
