Chapter Thirty Six

                                IAN'S POV

                           FLASHBACK ( 6)

When I left her office and got back to stephs ward she was already fast asleep. I  drew a chair close to her bed and and sat across from her. I sat there staring at her pretty sleeping face. She looks like an angel when she sleep. My gaze went down to her pink plump lips. I imagined kissing her lips but shook the thought out of my head. 

“ what have you done to me steph? “ I ask the sleeping steph, pushing her hair behind her ear to gain more access to her pretty face.

“ it’s not funny woman “. 

When I left her office and got back to stephs ward she was already fast asleep. I  drew a chair close to her bed and and sat across from her. I sat there staring at her pretty sleeping face. She looks like an angel when she sleep. My gaze went down to her pink plump lips. I imagined kissing her lips but shook the thought out of my head. 

“ what have you done to me Steph? " I ask her sleeping face And caress her face soflty down to her lips. Her lips are pink and look plump at the bottom. I imagine kissing it and how it would feel. 

" Oh Steph. What have you done to me ?" I ask again. I don't know how I started to grow and nurture these damn feelings?.  Was it the first day I mistakenly saw her half naked in her room? Or the the first time she laughed with me and showed me her beautiful dimples? Or was it that day at the garden? Did it start the moment I saw her singing and smiling with that damn doctor? I have no fucking idea. But all I am sure of is that it would cause a lot of trouble.

I have never ever been in this type of situation before. I don't knowhow I feel now and what I would feel later. The fact that I don't even feel guilty about or feel regret makes it harder.

I leave for my dormetry. Phoenix was already fast asleep when I entered his room. That's very unusual for him. I walk into my room and lay on my bed without taking anything off . I fall with my back to the bed, eyes to the ceiling arms spread wide open on the bed. I close my eyes and remember Steph's face up close and her golden brown eyes that spelled so much innocence. I remember joyful and cheerful laughter when she stuffed me with cookies and when I tickled her so much. I remember the type of overwhelming happiness that engolfed me when I chased her and I smile . Her smile is so contagious. I take out my phone from my pocket and look at the picture i snaped while she slept. She looks so beautiful I use it as my wallpaper. I sleep off there. 

*********************NEXT DAY *****************

I woke up late today. It was already nine thirty AM when I awoke from my slumber.  I got up and took my bath. Phoenix had already left so I dressed up fast, ate and left for school.

When I go to class you had already gone off way with lectures. I sat there bored and listening for another hour. When the class ended, I had to go for another annoyingly boring class. of course I had no other choice that's why I'm here to attend endless boring classes. I wonder why I am supposed to go for all these end less torturing classes when I know everything about my father's business. I mean I've been running the company with my father since I was 15 and he keeps saying that I'm good enough for the post of the CEO of the company. But his he still keeps insisting that I go to school like fuck it is so  exhausting.

As soon as the class is over I see Steph's text. ' coming today cutie ? ' I feel my face heat up as soon as I see the text. She thinks I'm cute. Fuck! All girls fine me cute but sheph? She's my fucking crush of course I'd blush. 

I waste no time in replying ' sure. Missing me already? '  I didn't have to wait for up to a minute for her to reply. ' a little. But I don't ' she replies and I laugh. Phoenix looks at me with suspecting eyes. 

" Who are you talking to Ian? " Phoenix asks.

" None of your business man. Go find something to do or fuck " I say to him rudely trying to divert his attention. But he's my best friend of course he sees through my facade.

He laughs  " you look like a tomato man " he says and I almost get suffocated by air. 

" Shut up nix " I say and he punches my on the arm and I laugh. 

' I'm waiting for you cookie boy ' Steph sends it with a picture of my and my stuffed cookie. I laugh and send her ' I'll be there in a gefee sleeping beauty ' I send it with a picture of her sleeping. 

' hahahaha you naughty boy. You stole a picture of me sleeping. How disrespectful ' she replies immediately.

' I guess we're even then ' she sends a laughing emoji ' 😂 ' and I reply with ' see you soon '. As soon as I pack up, I leave phoenix to and hop into my Maybach and zoom off to the hospital.

When I got to the vvip ward, Steph's room was closed at least I wouldn't have to see an ass hole touching her in an intimate way while she sings.

I open the door and get angry immediately. Speaking of the devil here he is. He was there again, at least he is not sitting close to her like yesterday. They both turn to the door and Steph smiled immediately. I can't help but smile at her too.  Then I turn over to the fucking doctor with a frown " what are you doing here? "
