When Lemo said Old friends I didn't imagine an actual fossil. The two were talking while I ate soup the old guy's wife made.
"Lemo, why are you here? I thought you would be still working hard for yourself."
Lemo shrugged, "I always am working hard Ketlus. However I don't do it because I want to."
The gaseous old man nodded in his mechanical suit. Ketlus passed a napkin to me and I frowned. Rolling my eyes I took it and wiped my face. "Who's the sayian? I never imagined to see you with one."
I gestured, "I'm Sadi, the Once Lived Sayian Queen. I'm just here because I wanted something to do. Lemo needed help so i offered to come."
Ketlus rotated the mass he he had in his suit. "Strange to see the sayian queen. Very strange indeed..."
Lemo nodded, "I've found someone."
Ketlus reacted with a spark and leaned in. "Is it someone from the patrol?"
I looked back at Lemo who shook his head, "No he's new."
They were talking about Eins, however the context was a tad strange. "What about the patrol and what does this have to do with Eins?"
Ketlus looked to Lemo and then back to me, responding. "Me and Lemo were once members of said galactic patrol. Our lives were sparred due to our unique information. Along with a dozen others, of course."
I raised an eyebrow and he elaborated. "We are dubbed the Patrol men, the last of the galactic patrol. Only sparred to act as locks for criminals far stronger than even Frieza. My life is the literal lock to prisons. My family is only alive to appease me so I do not take my life."
"Damn so, Is Lemo like that?"
Lemo made a so-so gesture. "Sorta each prison was very different I hold an actual key while Ketlus is the key. The key I have is bio-metric and also buried."
I see, so they were guards still even after being forced into the Frieza Force much like the sayians still acting as raiders. "So Eins?"
Ketlus gave a shrug and a laugh. "Haha, Miss we can't kill the prisoners. Which is why we need someone strong enough to. We wish to make sure Frieza or none of the Frieza force opens them. I can prevent the smaller ones from getting opened with my rank amongst the Frieza Force."
I put it together, "Except, that doesn't mean they can't be opened."
Ketlus gave a little shrug, "Sorta yet again. The prison I act as the key to can't be opened no matter what. I was never told why, however since my species is ageless."
Lemo answered the rest, "The prison is basically always locked until Ketlus is killed."
Which meant Ketlus needed safety. No, it meant he needed to disappear. For that to happen, Frieza needed to disappear too. Except if whatever was locked in the prison Ketlus was protecting, that even Frieza chose not to open the patrol prison. Would Frieza really kill Ketlus?
I shook my head, it didn't really matter Frieza deserved to die anyway. So none of this really mattered. What did was something else. "So you two want to kill the prisoners in the patrol prisons why?"
Lemo gave a nod, "Not everyone agreed with the methods of the patrol... It is why we now work for Frieza, which is a regrettable choice. However even after joining him he refused to kill the prisoners. We fear it is to use them at some point."
Ketlus pointed his gloved finger, "On top of that, not all the owners of the keys are the same owners."
Lemo nodded, "Like myself."
Now here's a new question, "Lemo why are you so weak yet have so many high profile connections?"
Lemo scratched his cheek. "Well, its a tad complicated. Let's just say it relates to a women."
Ketlus burst out laughing, "COMPLICATED! HAHAHAHA! HE BROKE U-"
Ketlus was stopped in his tracks by his wife, "The kids!"
He lowered his voice, "He broke up with a witch, and she cursed him."
The Wife spoke up, "Indeed Lemo was once a good looking and powerful man."
I couldn't really see it, but it was whatever. I drank the rest of my soup and placed the bowl down. "God I hate politics, I mean this does count as politics right?"
Ketlus gave a shrug, "No idea, I suppose you could consider it. However it is that extreme or anything. Specially since no real political factions exist amongst The Frieza Force. Hell I am one of the elites and I'm barely trusted. Not even Frieza's new dog is that well trusted. Though... He is a really debby downer."
New dog? Oh, wait it was that sayian kid. "Kakarot right? I never met him, but he's big among the low class since he is the first super sayian."
Ketlus pointed, "You sayians are such cheaters. You know how I got strong? I bathed in Stars like any other of my kind. Do you know how difficult that is?"
Bathing in a star? Some species were too weird, though I understand since like he said the sayian race really was a bunch of cheaters. The truest form of warriors there was.
