Just can't rest

Cheelai smiled, "So Just me and you."

I rolled my eyes, "Are you really gonna lose a teasing match again?"

Cheelai jumped up, "I am not!"

We were on a new ship Bulma made. It was truly genius, she took a ton of stuff from Gero's wrecked labs. I don't know how many of them she raided. Except the whole ship was powered by Ki and electricity, the two were interchangeable too.

It had stealth abilities stolen from Gero too. Apparently she even had Yamcha go raid Dr. Wheelo's frozen lab. The guy and his assistants apparently died down there.

Earth was uniting under capsule corp and the martial artists. Piccolo apparently had his own ship though he was gonna stay on earth for a bit longer before heading to Namek.

I tapped the screen. "Cheelai how do you think Sadi and Lemo are doing?"

She shrugged, "No clue, you still can't contact them."

I nodded, it was like they were completely disconnected from the galactic channels. Bulma had installed the machinery to monitor it and even tap into the Freiza force channels secretly. She had an itch to invent.

I could call Namek. So Sadi and Lemo shouldn't be out of reach. However I couldn't contact them. I checked the navigation and saw we were still a few days away from the planet.

I just couldn't relax! "Argh! What the hell am I gonna do."

Cheelai gave a half-hearted shrug. "All I know is I'm kind of glad we left earth. Earthlings are nice, but they kinda looked at me weird. Like you had dog and cat people walking around and dinosaur racism. Then a green skinned girl walks around and they have funny looks."

I raised an eyebrow, "Dinosaur racism?"

She rolled her eyes, "The Pterodactyl people that are excluded from the cities?"

I responded, "They eat people though."

Cheelai laughed, "And the Salza eat Merls. So what?"

Cheelai was a Salza right? Then the hell was a Merl?

I tapped my foot. I long since planted the Tree of Might Seed. It was taking one hell of a while to grow it though.

Cheelai spoke with a smirk, "So I know you decided to become a great destroyer and all. Except is the tree supposed to be that small?"

The planet that once was covered in vines. Had a lot less than it had before. Overgrown trees and flying raptors still lingered. As I figure the reason the tree was taking a while to grow was because its roots. Large holes littered the planet. The roots didn't grow through them, but instead grew around them.

"It is still growing."

Cheelai shrugged, "Like I care, I'm not gonna eat them."

Cheelai knew my plans and so we waited. As time passed the Tree grew larger. Eventually the Tree grew and the planet shrunk in size and died. I smirked put on my suit to go out and I went to get the fruit.

Once I got on the ship with the 6 fruits I collected, Cheelai spoke. "Six of them, eh?"

Six was likely the limit. I threw off the space suit and bit into one of the fruits. It tasted just like before, but this time I paid attention closely to the ki it gave me.

Cheelai interrupted the process, "Is it the cause? Did you figure it out?"

I followed my ki and noted the lump got bigger, not by much. However I sighed, "Yeah it seems eating more than one of the fruits causes the problem I am facing. Or maybe it is just the fact my turned my lifespan and ki into one thing. Whatever the reason these fruits are the reason."

I looked at Cheelai and nodded. She watched as I ate each of the fruits until two of them. Which had large seeds in them. Two seeds, two more possible planets. That's actually a lot of ki. I measured my myself and my natural ki returned to its original amount when I fought Cell and even doubled it.

I clenched my hands together and checked the lump of mystery ki. It grew more and I could feel it stopped absorbing my normal ki.

I smirked at Cheelai, "Seems like it worked. I am even stronger than before."

Cheelai kicked her feet up waved her hand. "So now we just got to contact Sadi or Lemo. Hell, actually I guess we can find a few more planets for you to eat. After all Frieza is freakishly strong and I have no doubt that if you really want to protect earth. You are gonna go after him."

I sighed, "It would be for the best. Though I don't really know what to do after that. I've been thinking, he is a tyrant and all that. Blowing this planet up and that planet up. He doesn't even use something like the tree of might. Just blows them up, but technically he has an empire. When a tyrant dies...."

Cheelai gave a shrug, "That's best to leave for another time."
