Kuro dodged again and again, annoyed by how things were going. "I wanted to get Jango here first, but I guess I can just deal with this now and just get him later."

Kuro ran to the mansion and went to his room, grabbing his signature weapon which was a pair of gloves with long blades attached to each finger like a claw.

Wearing them, he fixed his glasses as he went out in front of the mansion again.

"Stop this! Klahadore, he's lying right? I mean how are you a fake? You've been with us for 3 long years," Kaya said.

"It's no use, Kaya," Hakai said. "This Klahadore fellow's real name is Kuro and he was once the captain of a pirate crew. He faked his death and came to work for your father, and he's planning to kill you and take your wealth."

"No! That's a lie! Stop lying!"

Kuro looked at Kaya as he knocked out all the butlers including Merry. "It's true, Kaya. I never liked you and actually found you annoying. I mean how could such a spoiled brat be so sick? You have so much money. You could do anything you want."

Kaya eyes went wide at what he said. "K-Klahadore? ...What do you mean? You're lying right? There's no way..."

"Makino can you-"

Makino smiled already knowing what Hakai was going to ask of her. "I got it."

She went over to Kaya, comforting her. "It's ok. He can't hurt you now. Hakai is really strong."

"I'll admit. I don't know how you figured I was Captain Kuro. You've also ruined my plans a bit which is annoying, and I hate annoying people the most so you're going to have to die," Kuro said.

Kuro fixed his glasses and disappeared from where he was standing, appearing behind Hakai as he swung his claws at him.

"Big guys like you are strong, but your big size slows you down."

"Kuro... You're a cat trying to hunt a dragon."

Hakai hardened his back with haki, blocking Kuro's attacks as he turned around and slashed him across the chest with his blade coated with haki.

Kuro groaned in pain as he backed away. "What? Is that a devil fruit?"

To people who didn't know haki, what Hakai did looked like magic, so the closest thing that was similar to it were devil fruits.

Being trained to guard Kaya, Merry, the butlers woke up from being knocked out and saw Makino beside Kaya.

"Back away from her!" he demanded as he pulled Kaya away.

"No, Merry, it's okay. They're the good guys, but it seems Klahadore is bad..." Kaya said, looking down as her eyes teared up.

Makino had gotten her to come in terms that Klahadore wasn't good and had just been after their money. She even said that he might've killed her parents which there was a good possibility of it happening.

Merry was also shocked, but he understood. He had also heard Klahadore talking to someone with his den-den mushi about coming here and attacking the village, but he just brushed it off.

"It can be whatever you think it is." Hakai smirked. "Is that all the famous Captain Kuro has to offer?"

"Shut up," he said, fixing his glasses and disappearing, creating multiple afterimages as he slowly approached Hakai and attempted to slash his chest.

This type of tactic was useless to Hakai since he had observation haki and could tell which Kuro was the real one. He grabbed his wrist when he tried to slash him and kicked him away like a soccer ball.

Kuro was sent flying, hitting a tree as he coughed out blood.

"You're dead now... you made me use this move," Kuro said as he got up, and started swaying back and forth.

He kept swaying back and forth as he got closer and closer to them.

"Shakushi!" he yelled out, disappearing and a purple smoke started going towards them.

Using observation haki, Hakai smiled. It is a fast move, competing with Soru in speed, but the only difference is that Shakushi is a blind attack meaning Kuro doesn't know who or what he's attacking.

"This might've worked for other people, but not for me." Hakai sensed Kuro and appeared next to him before he could attack Usopp and grabbed his neck.

"H-How?" Kuro asked as he was lifted into the air, slowly choking.

"Like I said. You're a cat trying to hunt a dragon. I've had fun playing games. Goodbye, Captain Kuro."

"No wait-"

Hakai didn't even hesitate and hear him out as he stabbed his sword coated with haki and his darkness through Kuro's heart.

The darkness started corroding and eating Kuro's body as it turned into a fine, black dust.

"I-Is that the end?" Usopp asked. "How'd you do that? That was so cool!"

Hakai nodded as he went to Kaya with Makino and Merry by her side.

Merry bowed and thanked Hakai. "Thank you! I'm sure that if you weren't here this would've turned out much different and Kaya might've died in Klahadore's hands. If there's anything you want, we'll try to get it."

Kaya also smiled and bowed, thanking him. "Yup. I didn't know Klahadore was such an evil person... If you want anything I'll do my best to do it for you!"

Hakai smiled and told her to stand up straight. "There's only one thing I want and it's you."

Kaya blushed, hearing him. "M-Me? W-What do you mean?"

Makino had an annoyed face as she hit Hakai's head, but because of the height difference, she had to jump which was a bit funny. "Don't go around playing with people's feelings."

Hakai laughed. "Fine fine. Kaya, I want you to join my pirate crew."

"Absolutely not!" Merry said. "We can give you money or anything you want, but I won't let Kaya join your crew and be a pirate."
