Volume 6 A lover

Victor and Lord Usagi cancelled the grand party to search for Yuri. When they found his location, the guards set coarse to bring Yuri home. Lord Usagi insisted on coming along if Nara was going, his wives volunteered. Victor looked at Shion and Gia, "If Yuri comes back in this house, show him the respect he deserve despite the fact that you are royalty." Prince Shion bowed down, "As you wish my Prince." Sam handed Victor a tablet showing the route, due to bad weathers the road was the safest path to travel with. Nara held Victor's hands, "We should hurry Victor, I just want to see if Yuri is alright."

The rains were heavy and there were thunderstorms all night long. When Yuri woke up early in the morning, he saw Daniel lost in thought with burnt eggs on the stove. Yuri switched off the stove, Daniel flinched when Yuri patted his shoulder. Daniel cleared his throat, "When did you wake up, I am preparing breakfast." Yuri put on his apron, "More like you burnt the breakfast, why don't you set the table whilst l cook." Daniel sat at the table buried in his thoughts, when Yuri was don't serving breakfast he asked, "A penny for your thoughts, you seem troubled." Daniel cleared his throat, "Yuri, I will sell even my land to help you cover your debts, the loan sharks are dangerous people." Yuri spit the food in his mouth, he wiped away his mouth, "What gave you the idea I am running away from a loan shark." Yuri placed the bowl he was holding on a table, Daniel held Yuri's hand, "I am here for you Yuri, we both lost our families but we have each other, right?" Yuri thinking of Victor lightly laughed, "I am sorry Daniel, but when times comes, I shall tell you all that's going on. It looks like it has stopped raining." After they finished breakfast, they went to the fields to harvests tomatoes and other vegetables. Yuri was holding onto Daniel since the grounds were muddy and slippery. An elderly woman passed by, "You are here Yuri, how handsome you have grown to be? My granddaughter is a lovely woman." Yuri bowed down to greet the elderly woman, "Ajhusi, you are as lovely as always." Daniel cleared this throat, "You never talked about your granddaughter with me, is it because Yuri is a city boy" They all laughed at Daniel, after a long catch up with Ajhusi, Yuri asked, "Where were you going?" With a face filled with concern Ajhusi replied, "My grandson is the chief-commander at the royal house, he is coming over tonight…" "Grandmother, I have been looking for you all over for you." A girl bowed down to greet Yuri and Daniel. Daniel showed Yuri around the farm, when Yuri tried to lead the way he got lost several times.

Victor looked at his clock watch, all his family members and wives had accompanied him to the outskirts to look for Yuri. Sam had sent a picture to his niece to help them narrow the search. Sam looked at the view mirror, "My Prince, my niece spotted Yuri in the fields with a man. He is safe and sound." Looking out the window, "How long do we have?" Sam was worried because of the heavy rains that were down poring again, "We might arrive at night." Prince Shion was ridding with Gia. She looked at him and said, "Shouldn't you be glad that this trash is out of the palace?" Shion looked at Gia, "Mind your tongue Gia, I heard you visited your kingdom." Gia frowning her face looked at the driver, "How long do we have? It suffocating in here?" The driver swallowed a large gallop of saliva, "A couple of hours." Shion looking at his phone commented, "Remember to be nice to His Majesty Yuri, your stay in the palace depend on it. Whatever nonsense your father fed you forget it; you know better than to anger Victor." King Nara was ridding with Lord Usagi, he kept praying for Yuri's safety. Lord Usagi held his hand, "Why don't you rest?" Lord Usagi and the other crew arrived at the lounge to rest, but Victor proceeded with his journey to see Yuri.

Daniel heard a knock at the door, he had just tackled Yuri to bed. Daniel with a confused mind wondered who had visited him late at night, with trembling hands he took his gun and slowly opened the door. Falling down to one knee, "Greetings your Majesty." Victor with a bunch of guards were standing at the door, "Where is Yuri?" Daniel recognised his voice, he replied, "He is resting in the guest room." Victor looked at Sam, he said, "Come and pick us tomorrow, take care of this man. Don't let the media close." Daniel was worried Victor would hurt Yuri, "I am willing to sell my land to pay off the debt he owes you! Don't hurt him!" Victor with an astonished face asked, "Uh wat?" Victor held back Sam when he wanted to intervene, Daniel knelt on the ground, lying flat on his face he pleaded, "I will be enslaved to you if selling my land isn't enough to pay your debt. Yuri is an innocent person, he got scared and… ran away, your Majesty…" "How can I hurt the mother of my own child?" Victor reached down to a grovelling Daniel, Daniel sighed, "Thank God…What?!" Sam dragged him away, victor locked the door. He slowly opened the door and saw Yuri comfortably asleep on his bed, Victor kissed him on the mouth. He whispered, "I almost died when I found out you were missing…" His phone rang, standing by the window he answered, "Hello mother?" After a few seconds he answered, "He is safe and asleep…I asked Sam to take care of him…" Trembling down to his feet Yuri squeezed the blankets, in his mind, "Oh my God, Daniel must be hurt...how do l look for him?" Yuri sat up straight, he directly looked at Victor, "What have you done with Daniel?" Victor hang up the call, he looked at Yuri, "Don't worry he is safe and sound, Sam took him to a lounge so that we could talk." Yuri fidgeting his fingers, clearly, he was still afraid of Victor, "You came to confirm if the baby is alright and drag me back to the palace, right?" Victor knelt before Yuri, "I came to confirm if you were alright, are you alright Yuri?" Clenching his fists Yuri busted out in anger, "People are mocking me saying I am a homewrecker, all my dreams have been shattered. I wanted to get married to a cute girl on a beach, why does everything go wrong with me?" Victor didn't want to upset Yuri, seeing his tears was the last thing he wanted, "Yuri, look at me…I have no regrets with what l did but hurting you was the last thing in my mind. You never wrecked any home…rather you have built a home I never had. I came here to take you home…so that I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you. No matter how much it will hurt me, after you give birth, I will plan a wedding for you with a cute girl…" "You are an idiot; did you know that?" Yuri smiled as tears trickled down his cheeks. Wiping away his tears Victor replied, "Only you can tell me that, I am sorry Yuri…can you ever forgive me?" Yuri touched Victor's hand, he slowly lifted his head and kissed him on the forehead.

Victor sat behind Yuri on the bed, Victor holding Yuri's belly said, "Thank you for giving me a chance." Yuri held Victor's hand, "I don't want my baby to be born a bastard, I have seen enough movies that treated bastards cruelly. I have a couple of demands also." Victor chuckled as he listened to Yuri's demands, "I want my job back, with a raise since I am about to become a mother. I have no idea how long I need for my maternity leave, paid leave to be precise." Victor kissed Yuri on his head, the shampoo he used had a pleasant scent. Victor asked, "Am I allowed to make demands?" Yuri stared out the window, he replied, "You aren't carrying any baby. Maybe you can have one." Victor turned Yuri's head; he gave him a peck kiss. Yuri turned red as he hid his face from Victor, he was shy and embarrassed. Hugging him tightly in his arms Victor said, "When you weren't beside me, I was scared and worried for your safety, never leave my side again Yuri. Every second I yearned to hold you in my arms like this. Yuri, it is now clear that l love you."
