Volume 39 The awakening of the Blue Dragon

Yuri quietly sobbed as he washed himself in the bathroom, his friend was slowly dying downstairs. A maid brought a sexy outfit for him to wear, Victor picked the suit himself. The maids bowed at Victor who was standing on the stairs, "Sam, dispose of this trash in my house…." "Anyone who touches him will be killed by me!" Yuri grabbed a table knife on the table. Victor sighed as he looked at the drama, "What will you possibly do with his corpse?"

Yuri pointed a knife on himself, he yelled, "I have had enough! I am going to kill myself!" The servants begged him to put the knife down, Victor felt irritated with all the ruckus. Yuri suddenly fell on the ground, Sam took the corpse and properly buried Jihun in a hidden place.

The doctors tried to revive Yuri from his fever but his condition got worse, in his sleep he muttered Shion's name several times. Victor looking at a pale and skinny Yuri punched the wall and said, "Fuck! Yuri open your goddamn eyes before I get angry! Why do you care more about others than me?!"

Shion was pleased to see his daughter awake and playing with her brothers. Talin and Shion decided to grow plants to sustain them with food supply, Daniel was in charge of looking after the children. The kids each day asked about their mother, Shion's reply was always, "Mama will visit us soon, till then we have to behave."

Daniel from the news saw the hell Victor unleashed on earth, he knew the greatest sacrifice Yuri made to save them all, he prayed for the safety of Yuri. Daniel in the midst of preparing a meal saw the bedroom door upstairs being opened, looking out the window the kids were playing outside.

Daniel with a bread knife in his hands bravely walked upstairs, he saw Victor placing Yuri on Shion's bed. Victor looking at Yuri said, "You woke him up before, I need you to wake him up again!" Daniel peed himself a little when his eyes met with the cold black eyes of Victor.

Victor suddenly vanished from the room, Daniel threw the knife on the floor and ran tests on Yuri. He placed a cold towel on his forehead and rushed to the fields, Talin saw his fiancé running in full speed for the first time. Shion with troubled eyes asked, "Are the kids alright?!"

Daniel was catching his breath, pointing at the house he said, "Yuri…Yuri is in your bedroom…" Shion dropped the hoe in his hands and ran to the house, he saw the kids already in the room. Yuna pointed a finger on her mouth and whispered, "Papa, please be quiet mama is asleep."

Tears involuntarily poured out of his eyes, he patted Yuna's head and replied, "I hear you princess. Can daddy have a word with mom? Give him a kiss for a good rest." Yuna and Juan gave forehead kisses to Yuri before they went out, Takato threw a tantrum but Daniel won him over with sweets.

Daniel looking at Shion said, "I believe something terrible happened for him to be this shaken. Take your time, Talin and I got the kids tonight." Shion covering the wounds on his body replied, "The wounds on his body are severe, I can't bear this anymore Daniel." Daniel patted Shion's shoulder and replied, "I can willingly exchange my life for his Shion, his body is brutally raped and the scars…I am sorry…" Daniel ran out of the room with tears on his cheeks.

Shion held Yuri's hand as he lied beside him, he kissed his hand and said, "Yuri please wake up, I am here. Don't you want to see me?" Daniel and the kids rushed to their room when they heard the noise, Shion was helpless sitting from a distance from Yuri. Shion looking at a trembling Yuri said, "Honey, look at me…it is me Shion. Don't you love me anymore?" Yuri realising his husband's voice quickly hugged him and busted out in tears.

Daniel took the kids downstairs when he heard Yuri's cries, the twins wanted to see their mother. Daniel looking at Juan said, "Mama and papa need time to talk, I know you are worried, but we need to give them space."

Yuri squeezing Shion's clothes said, "Shion…am I dreaming? I am glad you came to me…I don't care even if I am dead, I just wanted to see you! Shion…he killed Jihun…he is killing everyone and…" "Yuri, you have to breath honey, I am here." Shion patted his head gently, he felt warm tears of Yuri dropping on his chest.

After several hours Yuri managed to calm himself, his face was red and filled with tears and snot. Yuri looked at Shion and said, "Shion…" Shion passionately kissed Yuri, with a warm smile on his face he said, "I love you Yuri. I am happy to see you, I love you." Yuri kissed Shion on the forehead and replied, "Now I can believe you are here, my love is right here with me. I love you Shion, I love you a thousand times."

Victor smashed the mirror with the whiskey glass in his hands, he dismissed the unwanted party in his room. Sam looking at the documents in his hands said, "My Lord, all the kingdoms are having wars to succeed the throne…" "Let them kill each other, get me another fucking glass of whiskey." Victor was starring at the empty whiskey bottle before him.

Sam cleared his throat and said, "If you keep damaging and killing people his Highness will keep hating you more. Those who betrayed you have already suffered; you need to stabilise the situation and bestow crowns on those who obediently follow your orders." Victor standing form his eat replied, "You are bold Sam, I am the Lord and I make the fucking decisions. Get the fuck out."

Shion woke up when he felt a heavy thing on his chest, he opened his eyes and saw beside him his handsome wife asleep. Juan was on top of him, he whispered, "I didn't want to wake mama up, good morning dad." Juan wanted to reassure himself that his mother was safe, Shion whispered, "You are heavy get down."

Juan pouting his mouth replied, "I will get down if you promise to apologise to Takato on my behalf." Shion was puzzled to hear his son's response, their whispers were loud enough to wake Yuri. Shion glaring at Juan whispered, "What have you done?" Juan with puppy eyes replied, "I broke his favourite toy…" "Juan get down from your dad." Yuri slowly opened his eyes.

Shion carried Yuri downstairs for breakfast, Daniel prepared a special meal for the patient. The children were super excited to see their mother, he hid his pain with a smile. After breakfast the children rushed with Talin to the fields. Yuri said, "Thank you Daniel for such a good breakfast, I can see my kids are well taken care of."

Daniel held his tears back, but it was hard seeing Yuri's condition. Daniel wiping away tears said, "I am sorry…" "It is alright I think I have used up the tears in my body. It is chaotic out there; Victor needs to be stopped." Yuri squeezing the cup in his hand suggested. Shion looking at him said, "I would give anything to save you from him. He is too powerful..."

"I don't care how long it will take; the demon need to be stopped. People are suffering because of him, even if I give up my life will fucking drag him to hell!" Yuri had an angry expression on his face.

Juan was eavesdropping their conversation. He went at the backyard and took out the dragon sword, he cut himself and enchanted an awakening spell. There was a loud roar outside startling the adults, everyone rushed outside and saw a huge blue dragon floating in the sky.
