Volume 11 Lord Usagi's dragon form

The nurses held back Victor from disturbing the operation, luckily Yuri wasn't seriously hurt. Mike came out of the room and saw Victor, Shion, Nara and Lord Usagi pacing up and down. Victor rushed over to him, "Please tell me Yuri is alright." Mike smiled as he assured the family that everything was alright, "He got away with a few stitches, however he is still asleep now due to the sedatives we gave him. Of course, the baby is alright." Victor was shown the room were Yuri was resting, the nurse left the room after checking the equipment. Victor kissed him lightly on the forehead, "I am so sorry, this is all my fault…I have hurt you again." Shion looking at Yuri thought, "Thank God you are alright, now I know how it feels like when your loved one is hurt." Victor looked at Sam, he instructed him a job he needed to do.

Victor arrived at the palace and saw all the royal families at the palace, King Dairus was with his daughter and she didn't have any sign of remorse. The other royal members were waiting for the arrival of the Imperial household. Lord Usagi arrived with King Nara, they changed into proper attires and bestowed their crowns on their heads. Victor was helped by a maid to change into his royalty attire, it had been long since a royal meeting had been held. Shion joined his family on their table, his older siblings were all present. Banu the royal advisor said, "All rise for Lord Usagi and King Nara." Bowing down everyone paid their respects, Nara sat at this throne beside Usagi. Victor was announced in; anger and rage was written all over his face. Lord Usagi instructed everyone to take their seats, "Thank you all for gathering here, I hope you are well. Today we are gathered here to sentence Princess Gia for her crimes against the royal family." King Dairus stood before the court, "The trial should focus on the Crown Prince instead, as royal families a sacred duty is bestowed upon us. The Crown Prince mocked each and every one of us here by granting a commoner the duty of a royal, I am not surprised since the commoner poisoned his mind growing up. When you remarried King Nara, I objected procrastinating that he wasn't worthy to properly upkeep the Crown Prince." Lord Usagi and Victor were perfectly calm when King Dairus was insulting him. King Dairus faced the court, "For months we were quiet because we thought on your own you would escape from this commoner's clutches. We wanted to wait till the small Prince was born, but now since we are here maybe the court can agree with me and dispose of these commoners." Lord Usagi stopped Victor from intervening, "Commoners? Kindly point them out." King Dairus pointing at King Nara said, "The only commoner here is sitting beside you; we have been mocked enough. Everyone here agree with me." Lord Usagi looking at the court replied, "All those supporting him please stand before me." Half of the court stood before Lord Usagi; Nara was scared that Lord Usagi would oust him out before he could see his grandchild. Removing his crown Lord Usagi said, "You were all commoners before my ancestors bestowed you in royal families. Do you look down on these commoners because they weren't fortunate to be born in a royal household? All these years l blindly followed your demands, I never question your ruthlessness. Remember what you did to me King Dairus, I chose to make peace but it seems your greed keeps growing." Lord Usagi stepped down from the royal throne, his eyes were glowing, Nara bowed down, "I am sorry, because of me you are being humiliated again. I am willing to leave…" King Dairus laughed, "You shall be the end of your reign after today no dragon shall roam on this earth." Nara knew King Dairus had sent people to murder Yuri and his grandson, he clenched his fists and grit his teeth.

Princess Gia was instructed to kill Yuri and his unborn child, her obsession with Victor turned into a monster. Yuri was moved in the Presidential suite the guards on the door were all fooled by Gia, she pleaded, "My Lord granted me permission to see his Majesty and apologise." The guards opened the door for her, she saw Yuri sound asleep, he was defenceless in his sleep. Gia took a dagger out her purse, "No one mocks me and lives to tell about it. When you are out of the way my husband will finally look at me again, I don't care if he hates me as long as he acknowledges me as his wife." Gia tried to stab Yuri but there was a barrier, the bathroom door opened. Victor walked out and leaned on the door, "How can you attack a defenceless pregnant person Gia?" Dropping her knife Gia was shaking down to her boots, moving closer to her Victor said, "I guess your father doesn't care about you, how can he send his daughter to do his dirty work." Gia breaking down to tears replied, "I am good wife, whatever you needed I provided. Where did I go wrong that you chose him to carry your child? I am better looking than him, I am well mannered! I am a royal descendant from Dairus! Why did you choose him over me?! I can raise your child once he gives birth…I know the reason you are here is to protect your only heir, right?" Victor looked at Yuri, he replied softly, "You shouldn't make noise when the patient is asleep…" with scary eyes Victor banged Gia's head on the floor. Victor with a cold expression on his face said, "I am here to protect my lover and child. Even if he wasn't pregnant, I would still protect him because I love him, and no one is allowed to hurt my family. You even have guts to show up here when you are responsible for hurting him." Gia was bleeding on her nose and mouth, Victor grabbed her by her hair, "Family? Your real family are about to die whilst you are protecting this commoner." Victor looked at Yuri who was deep in his sleep, Yuri in his dream he was a beautiful forest. In this forest he was asleep on the grass with two small babies resting their heads on his belly.

Armed man stormed inside the palace, they surrounded Lord Usagi and Shion's family. Nara walked down from the throne with trembling hands and fingers Nara knelt on the ground, he buried his face on the ground, "Please, hear my plea. I am willing to step out of the palace, don't hurt anyone." King Dairus pointed a gun at him and replied, "You should have done that ages ago, only your dead corpses will be taken out of this palace." King Dairus shot at Nara Usagi shouted as he ran towards him, "Nara!", he fell on the ground as he bled out, Shion was held back by his father from interfering, Sam changed back to his original state. King Dairus smirked, "I will hunt him down after I am done with you." Lord Usagi looked deep in Nara's eyes, holding him close to his heart Usagi said, "Do you trust me? If you do, never let go of me and I will protect you. Sam, you know what to do." Sam took a talisman out of his robe, he created a mist, Dairus yelled, "Shoot towards the throne!" the bullet shells could be had falling on the ground. When the mist disappeared Shion and his family had already left the room, Usagi was sitting on the throne holding Nara in his hands. King Dairus looking at them said, "That was your one chance of escaping, I will kill you and that commoner of yours." There was a shield protecting Usagi and Nara from the bullets, Nara squeezing Lord Usagi's garment so tight in his hands, Usagi could feel Nara warm tears said, "I am always a burden to you I cause nothing but pain and trouble to you, I am sorry for being weak. Thank you for always looking after me." Usagi could feel Nara's body slowly becoming cold. Lord Usagi with cold eyes looked at Dairus, "You are a foolish man indeed, you wanted power, right? I will show what real power is…" Lord Usagi looked at Nara, he kissed him and said, "I love you." Placing his forehead closer to Nara, Usagi recited the bonding ritual words, Lord Usagi changed into his dragon form, his scales were silver and crystal blue, two horns were on his head. The other men were terrified to death, no one had seen him in his original state. Dragons only bonded with one partner, and their powers were linked to their partners, a death of a partner would weaken a dragon's body and strength. Dairus anticipated that Usagi had bonded with Queen Marie, he attacked him assuming he would be too weak to fight them. The wounds on Nara's body healed, on his forehead a sign appeared, it was gold and glowing. Dairus tried to shoot at them but the bullets were blocked out, the other royal fell on their knees. Usagi roar shook the walls and the glasses shattered, Dairus looked at the others, "Cowards! He is one, we can fight against him and claim what is ours!" Lord Usagi used his tail to throw Dairus at the wall.
