Chapter 6: Smart Last meal and a Wyvern Arcave:

Octavian left to the castle so I sat in the medical wing alone. It was surprisingly quiet and calm, I liked it. A door opened next to me and in came Arec. Everyone seems to dislike Arec, he is quite rude but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

"How are you feeling?" Arec asked. I smiled at him to assure him I was OK, "I'm sorry for calling you a freak, I have bad history with people who aren't dragon riders..." He looked away and I saw him tearing up.

"Hey... You OK? You can talk to me if you want?" Arec looked at me, a bit confused to why I'm being nice to him. "Well... A month ago I watched the person I loved die... and everyone blames me for it." I thought about Dilitiri's Rider before me, Octavian's brother. "You and Centurion were dating?" I asked. He nods and looks at the floor.

"We had only been dating a couple of days... he's the only person who understood me! And then it happened." I studied his face, he looked like he was about to break down.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want..." He looks at me and smiles.

"We were at the castle, it was when we first found out about the king. Centurion sacrificed himself to leave the king paralysed, The king was deadly with his weapon. Centurion ran head first and destroyed the weapon killing him and Paralysing the King..." It's all starting to make sense. "I came back and told everyone he died... And Octavian snapped at me for doing nothing. He was right hut it didn't help me at all." I pat Arec and smiled.

"I'll talk to him for you." A small smile appears on his face and he stands up.

"Well, I'll go get us some food. Hope u don't mind Pineapple Pizza." I grinned.

"You are my best friend now! Pineapple Pizza's my favourite!" We both laugh, He's not as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

Alice's POV:

A guard opens the cell door, it was Karso.

"You two follow me." He said, his voice sounded harsh and cold. Ace, The hunter boy I met stood up and followed him. I tried to keep up but my head was still spinning from being kidnapped. "Where are we going?" I asked. Karso didn't answer me and instead kept walking. I looked at Ace and he pointed at his black suit and a shield on the wall. I tried to figure out what he was telling me when Karso suddenly stopped.

"Penalty for High Treason against the king is the death sentence, Rule of law says I must grant you a final meal... whatever it may be." He looks at ace.

"I'll have a pizza ig..." Ace replied morbidly. I tried to think of a good way to do this that gives me more time, and then it hit me. "I'll have freshly picked strawberries!" Ace looked at me confused. Karso smiled and nodded. "But they're out of season Miss." I knew Karso was still with me on this!

"It's alright I can wait." I smiled and he sat us down.

Kayla's POV:

I was cleaning the glasses at the counter, and I heard a poof of smoke behind me. I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. "Father, What business do you have here?" I turned to see the pale man who looked mid 40s in his dark and bloody suit, Count Dracula. "Vhat, Can I not see my daughter?" I rolled my eyes, even before he turned me he wasn't the best father. He was abusive and angry all the time, if I did anything small he didn't like i'd be tortured by my fears or have memories erased. "I have news of a vampire hunter in town and I wanted to make sure my little bat was OK..." I look at him and grit my teeth.

"I can take care of myself, now do like a tree and leave." He nods his head and vanishes.

An arrow barely misses him as he vanishes and stabs the wall next to my head. My heart was racing and I looked at the person who shot it.

Octavian's POV:

On my way to the castle I saw a giant cage and a camp deep in the forest of Mataru. "Xenock, Take us down slowly..." Xenock lands us outside the camp and I tried to listen to what the soldiers are saying.

"We have to be careful, This one is extremely dangerous..."

"It's a baby, it's probably harmless."

If they mean Baby dragon, they are very misinformed. Baby dragons can't control their powers, they're very chaotic and send outbursts of power on accident. A Spike of stone pierces through the soldier that said it was harmless and narrowly missed the other. "Ye..m Harmless." Her voice was shaky and she started walking away slowly. She headed towards me and I swept her foot and knocked her unconscious.

I got changed into the uniform and walked into the camp. "The King wishes to reassign us and leave this dragon to die out here," I said. "Head back to the castle and await orders." Without second thought they all started leaving, I never realised how stupid the Knights were til this moment. After they all left I walked towards the cage and see a baby earth dragon. No... Not a dragon, A wyvern?!

Wyvern's are rarer than dragons in Daracnia, One for each elemental dragon every millenia. But that means the old earth dragon and possibly his rider has perished... I picked up the wyvern and it nuzzled into me.

"I knew you were up to something!" A voice sounded behind me, and I slowly turned around.

Meanwhile at The Order: Thalia's POV:

"What brings you here Miss Jones?" The leader of the Order asked. I bowed to them and looked at Armageddon, he nods and I take a deep breath. "I have reason to believe that one of you is a traitor."

They all stared at me like I was crazy, But the mage told me one of the 7 is not who they seem, for one of them controls the king... "You're absurd!" one of the members yelled, the leader silences her.

"You're hearing is over Thalia Jones, you may leave." I go to argue but I've seen this guy do this multiple times... he always gets his way. I go to leave and looked at my watch... only 3 months til Doomsday. I hop on Armageddons back and fly off.
