One shot

Today was not the best of days for one Naruto Uzumaki. It might not of been worse. It could of been his birthday. He usually got beaten up by the villagers on his birthday. No today was bad because he failed the Genin exam for the second time. He just couldn't get the dumb clone jutsu to work. No matter what he did they just ended up with dead looking clones. And the rest of his tests were filled with content he had never studied. When he left the academy he was already feeling down. He thought he might cheer himself up by eating his favorite food ramen at Ichiraku's… And the ramen place is closed. Closed till next week. Out of ingredients. Naruto decided to skip on food and go to a training ground he liked using. Now he was practicing throwing his rusty kuni. 

Hinata Hyuga was in pain. A lot of pain. She was just beaten up by her cousin Neji. They were "sparing" to help her improve her taijutsu skills. But she was useless her gentle fist was too soft. She wasn't able to effectively move in a way that would allow her to use the gentle fist. She had no problem seeing the tenketsu. She could even disrupt them so chakra would not flow. But the movement just felt wrong. For her trouble what did she get? She got bloody fingertips and bruising from her cousin. Today was supposed to be a good day. She was going to enjoy her cinnamon rolls in her mother's garden. After that, she was planning on watching Naruto pass the exam for Genin. Well, it might be sad that she couldn't be on a team with him. But Hinata wanted to see Naruto succeed. Hinata was tired of the dissatisfied look on her father's face. The looks of indifference on the rest of her clan's faces. The look of hatred from Neji. So what did she do? She ran away. She wanted the pain to stop. She wanted to be there for Naruto. Hinata tried to find him. She looks at the academy. No dice. She checked the Ramen stand, but zero luck. She thought of the last three places she could check. His apartment, the training ground, or the Hokage mountain. Her byakugan took both the apartment and the Hokage mountain out of the running. So that just left the training ground. Hinata made her way to the training ground to find Naruto training by beating up a log. Naruto didn't have a ninja headband. Naruto was still working despite failing. He didn't give up. He was just so strong. Hinata wishes she was that strong. But she was too nervous. She couldn't even walk up to Naruto and tell him how she felt.

Kaito was having a good day. Everything was coming up Kaito. He had recently gotten a commission from the Akatsuki. All he had to do was kidnap the blonde Uzumaki kid. And what luck today he found the boy was tired and weak. And for a bonus, he had found an unmarked Hyuga child. Kaito was able to knock out the two kids with drugged senbons needles. Now all he had to do was place the kids in his linked storage bags. One of the best investments he had ever made. He placed the kids in the bag and they would end up back in base in the land of waves. He placed chakra into the seal. The seal started to glow blue everything was fine… until the seal started to glow red. The bag seemed to unravel and spaghettify. Kaito quickly tossed the bag away from himself. That wasn't supposed to happen. The bag was just supposed to glow blue for a minute then the contents were to be teleported to the linked bag back in the land of waves. Kaito quickly left to the land of waves. He checked out the corresponding bag. Nothing, the bag was empty. What was he supposed to say to that scary guy with the long tongue. Kaito decided to retire and take on the disguise of a normal construction worker.

Issei Hyoudou was sad his best friend Irnia Shido had just left with her family to go live in England. He was lonely. Issei still remembered the kiss Irina gave him before she left. It was a shock to find out that your best friend was a girl instead of a guy. Well, that's beside the point. 

Issei had recently taken in a white cat. Issei named the cat Koneko. He thought taking in the lost kitty would help him get over the loss of his best friend. And the kitten did. She was just so affectionate. The kitty would ride on his shoulder and go wear ever he would go. Including to see the old man preaching the good world about oppai! Koneko would bap Issei on the nose if she felt Issei was being too icky. And Koneko's baps hurt. 

On one of the days Issei left the old man's teachings Koneko tugged Issei away from the old man and showed Issei what looked to be a large hemp bag. Issei opened the bag and found two hurt kids that looked to be around his age. Issei was able to bring the kids to his home. His folks help get the kids to a hospital. Hospital staff were unable to find any form of identification on the kids. The all the kids had on them were a few old looking scrolls and kuni. The ones on the girl were sharp and well made. The ones on the boy were covered by rust and had several chips along the blades. The boy was suffering from malnutrition. The girl had large bruising and a few cracked ribs. Her fingers had been cut up. The doctors couldn't find what caused that damage. The both of the kids were drugged with something that put them to sleep. It took the boy 3 days to wake up.

Kurama had not been having a good time. Her host had been kidnapped. Then she thought she might be able to escape this wretched cage. When the seal of her cage came in contact with a space transfer seal. She tried to flooding her chakra through the two connected seals to see if she could bypass the seal of the cage and leave directly. 

Well safe to say that did not work. When trying to bridge the seals she had overloaded the seal and collapsed the destination matrix. She couldn't even make a hole to escape anymore now she had to maintain the space transfer seal until they got to a safe place. The last thing she needed was for her host to be torn apart the dimensional void killing both her host and herself in the process. She felt during their fall they had been noticed by something powerful. She might have been able to as take that thing if her power wasn't half by that dam Hokage. She had used a lot of her energy to save the dam brat. She even saw that the seal was damaged. But she was to tired to even try to get out. She fell asleep. Kurama just hoped the dumb kid would live long enough to so that she could one day escape. What Kurama didn't see was that her the seal that drained her chakra had now been linked a different part of the seal. A red headed woman had been awakened.

The red haired woman had awakened… no that's not quite right. She was born… incarnated. Originally she the piece Kushina Uzumaki's soul left behind to help her son if he ever went 8 tails and lost control. But now she was unleashed… she has transformed. Her soul had taken a form of it's own. She was born from the soul of the Kushina and the chakra of the nine-tail fox. Originally she leached off the Nine tails and her son's chakra. But now she could generate her own chakra by herself in this place. She was no longer just a human soul. Looking in the waters on the ground she saw her reflection. She had fox ears and two red fluffy tails that had black tips. Her fingers ended in claws that she could retract to just be nails. She was and wasn't Kushina Uzumaki. She had all of Kushina's memories her emotions. But does that it make her Kushina? She ended up deciding that she was Kushina enough to be a loving mother for her son. She may no longer have her old form or a body but that doesn't stop her from being a mom for her kid. She had decided to introduce herself to her son. Naruto was still asleep but his subconscious was able to sense the world around him. It gave Kushina a look into the outside world. It was a different world. Her son was no longer in the world of ninjas. This place was different. Her son and the young Hyuga girl had been sent to this new world. It was a good thing. It was in a way the best thing the two of them could have ever gotten. They left the world wear they would get hurt for just living. A world free from those evil villagers who would hurt her child because of what he holds. Or an abusive family. Away from evil old men and their plans for her child.

The old men had placed loyalty seals and mental blockers on her son. She had gotten rid of them as soon as she found them. If she had a body of her own she would of gone and beaten up the villager and killed the old cripple and the dumb monkey. Kushina had a plan. She was going to wake Naruto and talk to him. She planned on helping her kid to the best of her abilities. In this new world. Kushina has a project right now fixing the seal. Looking at all the damage the seal had taken and the rush job her late husband had done she was a little shocked that her son had already died. The chakra overload that the nine tails used to keep her son safe had changed him on the genetic level. It most likely also had side effects on that Hyuga girl that was along for the trip. Hmmm, that girl… Kushina both liked and disliked the girl. The girl had been a pawn of the old Monkey. Even though the girl wasn't likely aware of it. Boy saves girl. Girl falls in love with the boy. The girl becomes a chain to the village. There is no way the heiress of the Hyuga clan would ever have been left alone to get bullied by in an ally. The only person who was around to save the girl just so happened to be Naturo. It all stunk of a plan by the old monkey. But the old monkey had made a misstep by choosing the young Hyuga as the pawn. Her family abused her and the rest of the village didn't care about the Hyuga heiress to try to make an emotional connection to the girl. The Hyuga girl had no chains that bonded her to the village. The only chains she had were the damaged one to her family and the strong ones for her hero Naruto. She was perfect mate material for her son. A loving shy girl that could be molded into the perfect girl for her son. Muhahaha. Hmm, I need to look into a way to project myself out of the seal… maybe a shadow clone. The only downside is the fragility of the shadow clone. Looks like he's waking.

"Well, young man can you tell me your name?" The female doctor asked

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki."

"How old are you?" The Doctor 

"I'm nine years older." Naruto 

"Do you know where you are?" The Doctor asked

"I'm in a hospital. Unless I'm in your house that happens to look and smell like a hospital." Naruto 

"You're in Kuoh Hospital. Do you know what day it is?" Naruto shook his head no. "Do you have family that we can contact?" The Doctor asked

"I have my mom but I don't know any way to contact her," Naruto answered a small smile was on his face. He had a mom who cared for him.

"What is your Mom's name?"

"Kushina Uzumaki. She is a pretty girl with long red hair and green eyes. I don't know what her job is." 

"Naruto do you know what happened to you?" The Doctor asked 

Naruto was shivering. "I was walking home with my friend Hinata when I saw this guy with a white monkey mask come and attack me and my friend. I felt some kind of needle stab me in the back and I felt dizzy then it was all black until I woke up here." Naruto gave the explanation that his mom gave him.

The doctor pointed to the girl who was on the other bed in the room. "Is that girl Hinata? Do you know her full name?" The Doctor 

"Hinata Hyuga." Naruto 

"Do you have any ideas on how to contact her family?" The Doctor 

"Her family died in a fire. She has been living with my family ever since." Naruto

"Do you know your address?" Naruto shook his head no. "Does anything hurt?" The Doctor 

"Nope, nothing hurts. I'm just hungry. And really need to go pee." Naruto 

"I see about getting you to the bathroom." The Doctor ran a few tests and helped Naruto.

Naruto hated hospitals. He was scared of needles and he couldn't eat anything that wasn't liquid until tomorrow. When he was left alone he was able to link Hinata to his mother. He was also able to make a shadow clone of Kushina. Kushina left the hospital to set up a place of residence and make proper paperwork for the authorities to find. Kushina found an abandoned house a little north of the town of Kuoh. It would take her a few weeks to renovate the place. 

Hinata woke up the next day and was able to give the same story that Naruto gave the Doctor. Hinata and Naruto had a visitor. That visitor was Issei Hyoudou. The Hyoudou family offered Naruto and Hinata a place to stay until they could find Naruto's mom. The two kids agreed.

Sirzechs was having a hard time. He had received a report of a massive discharge of chakra. The Shinto stated they weren't involved and wouldn't get involved either. Which was fortunate after that whole disaster with the SSS criminal Kuroka leading to a mass genocide against the Nekoshou. Something was off with that whole situation. Why did she go rough and kill her master and the rest of her peerage? She completely disappeared. Not even a trace of her could be found. 

There were two kids found on the day that chakra disturbance. No ID could be found on either of them. Blood work couldn't find any relatives. The kids woke up and were identified as Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga. Checking global school records led to zero results. Until today. Today the kids had school records and proper paperwork when they didn't even exist twenty four hours ago. The paperwork had some weird inscriptions embedded with invisible inks. It made it so whoever looked at it would accept the documents as real and have always been. They were now even enrolled in the 4th grade. Their one parental guardian was also in the same stitch. Of only started to exist yesterday. Sirzechs decided to wait and see what develops with the kids. If they're a danger to his little sister. They would be dealt with. For now, they were placed under observation. 

Maybe they would make for members of Rias' family. Rias could use more members. She only had four members. Sirzechs was still surprised that her sister got a Valkyrie as a Rook. Well, she was just moping around the estate anyway. That boy so full of rage became her Knight. Poor soul of the holy sword project. Her queen the daughter of Barkle. There was her bishop who had to be restrained in his care for now. Maybe these two will be her next servants. Que Sara Sara. What will be will be.

Koneko felt something looking at the two kids that she and her Issei had found. They had a thing around them something she saw in herself. Sometimes Koneko was able to play with the stuff. One day when Issei played hide and seek with the two kids she the blonde kid Naruto transformed into a female human his sent even changed to that of a female. Koneko saw how it was done she felt she could do it even if she was just a cat. She saw how the stuff moved. She could do that. Maybe she could do what she saw Issei's parents do with Issei.

 So later that night when Issei was going to read that bad magazine that the old man had given him she decided to try transforming. It hurt she felt as her muscles and bones moved, stretched, and changed as she became a two legger. Koneko noticed that she felt cold her body was no longer covered in fur. She was but naked. But she felt like she could finally do what she wanted to Issei. Pounced and placed Issei in a tight hug holding him. She leaned in and placed her lips on Issei. She felt like her world exploded in her mind. She felt tons of sensation her chakra danced and crossed through her body. She had instincts unleashed within her. She knew what she was. She wasn't just a cat. She was a Nekoshou and before her was her mate. She needed to mark her mate she needed to be marked to know let him know she belonged to him. Koneko nuzzled into Issei's neck and bit down until she drew blood. She felt as Issei did the same. Her felt a mass of heat overtake her body like she was bathed in fire. It was a warming sensation it slightly burned around her neck. She saw a tattoo formed on Issei's chest. It was a dragon whose wings had curled to make the shape of a heart. She saw sitting inside the heart were two smaller tattoos. One was a sword whose guard was an angelic wing. The other was a two tail cat that had sleeping leaning against the dragon's left wing. Koneko was happy to see that she was a part of her dragon's heart. The tattoo faded away but she felt it the connection was still there. She snuggled into Issei's arms And fell asleep.

Issei was deeply confused on a lot of levels. Like Koneko transformed into a naked cat girl and wanted to kiss him. The whole whole biting thing happened. He felt like he needed to do that. She was his only his forever. Why was he like this so possessive? Didn't he like Irina? Yes, and Irina was his he had marked her. He looked at Koneko's neck. She had a dragon biting its own tail wrapping around her neck as a tattoo. It was the mark that he had made. It noted the fact that Koneko was his. He felt a connection to her. He also felt another connection. That connection was far away but it also felt like was right next to him. Issei felt his connection to Irina. He felt her love and her loneliness from being apart from him. Issei wishes Irina and Koneko a good night going to sleep. Not knowing he was being watched by a little white eyed girl downstairs.

Irina was woken up in the early morning by the feeling of burning coming from just above her right elbow. She saw that it was a mark like a bangle around her arm. The mark was a dragon biting its own tail. The face of her best friend came to her mind when looking at it. No not just best friend her mate. She felt the connection. Issei was happy, confused, worried, and missing her. Irina felt happy for the first time in a long time. She could feel Issei maybe if she got stronger she could talk to Issei from his connection. The mark that marked Irina as Issei… she was blushing hard. Imagining them back together. She saw herself in a wedding dress with a sword on her hip being carried by Issei wearing a tuxedo. 

 That sword. She had never seen it before but it felt like it was hers. Irina tried to get a better look at. She tried to grab it. She felt its hilt but it was heavy she was having trouble getting it only using one hand. She grabbed the hilt with both hands. Her mind went back to Issei the blade began to easier. It wasn't just her sword. It was her sword to help Issei to be by his side to help defend him. 

"Call my name if you wish to draw me now." The sword said

"RAGNELL the sword of promised union!" Irina saw the long sword come free. The sword had an odd guard. The hand guard was a silver angel wing the the cross was a red dragon wing. The blade that of a silver long sword with with what looked to be a glowing ruby red edge. Irina was only able to hold the sword up for so long before she lost her strength and let the slip. The sword was now stuck in the stone sword. The sound of a sword sinking into stone did not go unnoticed.

Her next door neighbor Xenovia Quarta and Sister Griselda rushed in to see what was the noise only to find Irina with the sword Ragnell.

"Well, Irina what are you doing with a holy sword?" Xenovia asked

Long story short Griselda made Irina carry the sword everywhere and made Irina practice with the long sword. Xenovia had a jealous look on her face. Saying that she envied her for having a partner that would give her the purpose of one day having a child. Xenovia doubted she would ever get the opportunity to have a child of her own while devoting her life to the Lord.

Hinata and Naruto had been in the room when Issei and Koneko had woken up. Koneko had felt the air around the was charged with the thing she. Had been used to transform. Issei had quickly wrapped Koneko with his blanket. 

"So Koneko is that you?" Naruto 

"Yes, I am Koneko." 

"I have a question. Koneko can you hide your ears and tail?" Hinata

It felt odd for Koneko. The world around her seemed to have quiet. "It's a bit harder for me to feel the energy I was using and the energy that's around this room." 

"So you're ability to use and sense chakra has been suppressed. Anything else different?" Koneko shook her head no to Hinata's question.

"So what's going on? What is this catra thing?" Issei asked 

"Chakra is the combination between physical and spiritual energy. It allows anyone who can use it to manipulate the world and the user to a point. For example, it can allow me to change me to make a clone or change my appearance. In our old hometown, everyone had chakra. But now I have only seen a few others that can use chakra. There was a black cat I saw once, Koneko, and you Issei. Issei gained the ability to use chakra when you were bitten by Koneko." Hinata 

"Wait, how did you see that? My door was closed!" Issei 

"My eyes when I use chakra on them allow me to see through walls. And I just so happened to be practicing using them when Koneko transformed into a human form." Hinata

"So Koneko what are you?" Naruto

"I am a Nekoshou. That's all I know… I can't remember a lot of things. I don't know my parents. I don't know what my original name is. I can't remember anything from a week before Issei saved me." Koneko said. She felt as Issei hugged her from behind.

"Don't worry I am here for you. And I will do anything I can to help you." Issei. Koneko purred in happiness.

"So what are your plans Koneko?" Naruto 

"I plan to stay with Naruto. I'll be a cat on his shoulder and when we're like alone I'll be like this." Koneko 

"Um Koneko, I don't think they allow cats in school." Issei

"Well in that case why don't you become a student and go to school with him that way? My mom can handle the paperwork for you." Naruto 

"But how? Haven't you lost contact with your mother?" Issei

"Well to be honest my mother is kinda with me all the time. She is able to leave my body and help in the real world." Naruto 

"So you're mother is inside you… Gross dude." Issei

The group of kids bursts into chuckles. "I think I like that option. I'll be able to stay in this form longer and see Issei more." Koneko

Naruto closed his eyes for a few seconds. "My mom says she is willing to help if both you and Issei commit to training with us. There are dangerous things in this world and we will have to work together to keep each other safe." Naruto

"Sounds like a deal. I wonder what kind of training it will be?" Issei. Little did the young dragon know he would soon regret taking Naruto's mom on her proposition.

Rias was having a fun trip to Akihabara to attend Winter Comiket. She managed to score some nice merch. It was a nice distraction from her up coming engagement. When she was getting back to her hotel room for the night, she felt a large magical disturbance. Looking at where the disturbance was coming from she saw what looked to be the dieing embers of an explosion and something falling out of the sky. Her eyes were drawn to the falling object. Rias ran she felt needed to get whatever that falling object was. As Rais got closer she could make out the object was a falling girl covered in burns and cuts. Her outfit or what was left of it was a school outfit. She had brown hair with two silver streaks. The girl was falling, falling fast. Rias dropped her bags and few up to the girl using her devil wings. Grabbing the girl, Rias flew to the top of her hotel. The girl was on the edge of death. Her injuries should have already made the girl dead.

Rias had felt a tug on her mind with this girl… she was important enough to save. Sham her healing would only work for her peerage members. At times like this, she wished she had Twilight Healing or the bloodline of the Phen… Nope being related to that creep was too revolting to even consider. Her instincts were screaming at her to save this girl. Well if nothing else she can be my new piece. Rias first tried her remaining bishop. No response, that also ruled out knight. She next tried rook. No luck. All Rias had left were her pawns. She first tried six pawns. Rejected, she tried seven pawns. This time it worked. This girl who fell out of the sky had cost her almost all of her pawns. Rias hoped the girl was worth it. Rais took the unconscious girl to her room stripped her and cleaned up her wounds. After setting the girl down next to her in bed, the only thing Rias could think of is the fact she had lost all of her merch.
