Huo Yuhao was excited to awaken his martial spirit. Although he has already awakened one martial spirit, the [White Dragon of Nihility], that martial spirit is special as it condenses its blood soul ring using the blood essence/Qi/Ki of Alarion.

Martial spirits are, in a sense, a manifestation of bloodline powers. They are the physical manifestation of a person's bloodline. A person whose parents' martial spirits are [Dragons] will have a child with dragon essence in him/her, and when awakening the martial spirit, it has a high possibility of being a [Dragon] martial spirit.

However, some exceptions happen, and the bloodlines from both parents can lead to their child having a mutated martial spirit. For example, if a person with a [Dragon] martial spirit marries a person with a [Fire Element] martial spirit, there is a high possibility that their child will awaken a mutated martial spirit, such as a [Fire Dragon], that is higher in quality and attributes. This would give the child talents greater than those of their parents.

But that mutation of a martial spirit can't always yield positive results. If the incompatibility between the martial spirits is significant, such as having opposing attributes like fire and ice, and the difference in the quality of the martial spirits is substantial, like a high-grade martial spirit and a low-grade martial spirit, the mutation can yield a martial spirit that is unstable. The talent of the child would be limited and sometimes lower than that of their parents.

It is not exactly known how tool martial spirits appear in a person. How can a person have a sword bloodline and awaken a sword martial spirit? It is still a mystery how martial spirits came into existence. (An: I spent a very long time on the wiki to find an answer but couldn't.)

Some unfortunate cases happen when awakening the martial spirit. If the martial spirit is strong and the talent/body of the person is weak, the strong martial spirit cannot support itself and fails to manifest, resulting in the degradation of the martial spirit. (An: Yes, I am talking about trashgang. I hate his guts. It is an unconditional hate; some people might sympathize with him, but not me.)

Anyways, back to Yuhao. He made his way towards the spirit grandmaster (2 rings) and stood in the middle of the array engraved on the marble floor.

"Hello, child. Just relax and stand still inside the array. It will be over pretty soon," the spirit grandmaster instructed as he stood opposite Yuhao.

Yuhao regulated his breathing and closed his eyes. He cast an illusion on all the members in the room except for his mother. After all, he would awaken an [Eye] martial spirit, and he didn't want anyone to notify the [Body Sect] at all. The [Body Sect] is overbearing and will kidnap any soul master that has a body-type martial spirit. He did not cast an illusion on Yun'er because he wanted her to see his appearance change after his martial spirit was awakened. (An: You might not remember this, but he still appears ordinary in the eyes of his mother. His change in appearance is still unknown to her, and this is a chance to make it sound normal.)

The spirit grandmaster guided his soul energy into Yuhao and the array. The array glowed with golden light (only seen by Yuhao and his mother), and Yuhao focused on the changes happening in his body.

He felt as if shackles had been lifted from his soul; it was a liberating and empowering feeling. He focused, and he found two golden lights appear from his soul. One made its way to his eyes, and the other made its way to his chest.

A blob of translucent blue suddenly appeared in front of him. Yun'er was quite confused by the sudden appearance of that blob. As she was about to check on Yuhao, she noticed the changes in his appearance, and her breathing stopped for a second.

His hair, which was supposed to appear golden after the illusion was lifted, changed. His hair grew until it reached his shoulders, and the blond color became more vibrant, sparkling with golden light. The hair tips changed to a gradient of purple, pink, and black. But the greatest change was his eyes. Ellie went above and beyond when upgrading them. The simple blue [Spirit Eyes] were no more. What he awakened was truly a miracle.

His eyes changed from a normal blue color to sky blue with a golden four-pointed star in the middle and a ring passing through it around the center. Surrounding the ring was a pink hue that shone with ominous light. (An: Looks like a mixture of Kiana's Herrscher of Finality eyes and Herrscher of the Void eyes.)

His frail-looking body changed to become sturdier and more pronounced. His shoulders widened, and his facial features became more delicate and noticeable. (An: Again, he removed the illusion; this is his appearance after class ascension.)

If his charm was fatal to older women in the beginning, now it reached a dangerous zone where these older women might get a bit 'spicy' with Yuhao.

"Hmm, water element martial spirit?" the soul master wondered as he saw the translucent blue ball in front of Yuhao. He shook his head and instructed Yuhao to touch a clear-looking crystal ball, which is the measuring device used to measure innate soul power.

Yuhao came back to his senses and put his hand on the crystal ball. It shone with a blinding light that caused Yun'er to shield her eyes with her hands. It continued for a moment until a crack appeared on the crystal ball.

*Crack*

'Oh, crap.' Before he could remove his hand, the crystal ball exploded. Yuhao quickly adjusted the illusion he cast on the grandmaster to make it look like he had awakened only innate full soul power, and the crystal ball still appeared intact.

"Oh, innate full soul power?" The soul master was quite shocked, as innate full soul power is still rare, and any person who is born with it can achieve Hyper Douluo level if no accidents happen.

"You are quite lucky, child. This is my first time awakening a martial soul with innate full soul power," the spirit grandmaster spoke in a shocked tone.

'Hmm, looks like I got the Supreme Innate full soul power, which is strange as the only person who awakened it in history was Qian Renxue,' Yuhao thought to himself as he gazed at the broken pieces of the crystal ball on the floor.

'But her case was special; she got it because of her talent and divine power. I simply got mine because of the amount and quality of my martial spirits,' he reasoned to himself.

What he failed to notice was that the golden bead inside his spiritual sea started shaking as if expressing 'disbelief,' while the violet bead remained 'silent.'

Huo Yuhao simply shook his head and moved swiftly towards his mother, grabbed her hands, and led her out of the building. He wasn't going to waste any more time in that building.

He could tell that the spirit grandmaster wanted to recruit him to be a part of the [Heavenly Soul Empire], which was obviously not going to happen. He left false traces so that in the future, those forces that want to do a background check on him would be led astray.

Imagine fighting Yuhao and having the confidence to defeat his 'water element martial spirit,' only to be vaporized out of existence by [Corrupt Light]. That is called trolling but at the extreme level.

"How is it, mom? I am a genius, right?" He wanted to brag to his mom. God knows how much he despised having an illusion cast on himself to appear normal in his mother's eyes. Now that the martial spirits have been awakened, he could show his real appearance, which felt liberating.

Huo Yun'er was still shocked from what happened earlier. She let her son lead her as he pleased, and they appeared shortly in their rented room at the inn.

Hearing the door closing sound, Yun'er came back to her senses. She stared at Yuhao, and her eyes started changing to heart eyes. She grabbed him into a bear hug, one that squished his face into her deep valley, and started spinning in her spot.

"A genius. My Hao'er is a genius. My Hao'er has twin martial spirits," she kept mumbling as she looked at her son's face.

His face had become a lot cuter, and with the combination of hair and eye changes, his appearance almost made her commit a crime. Luckily, it took all her willpower to snap out of it.

Yuhao smiled after hearing his mother's mumbling and stared at her for a while.

'I need to give her the legacy crystal so that she can gain more power, and then we will leave for another world,' Yuhao thought as he let his mother carry him to the couch.

"Hao'er, can you show me your martial spirits again?" she asked Yuhao, wanting to take a closer look at them. Yuhao obliged her request.

A blue translucent blob appeared between him and Yun'er. She observed the cute-looking martial spirit and poked it. She was again surprised by how soft it was, and it made her feel like poking a cloud.

Yuhao also observed it for a bit. He wondered why Ellie had given him an additional martial spirit. But, seeing that she spent so much energy to give him this martial spirit, it must help him greatly in his journey.

His martial spirits are [Monster Slime] and [Eyes of Heaven]. The [Eyes of Heaven] martial spirit is truly an upgrade from the regular [Spirit Eyes], while the [Monster Slime] martial spirit is a martial spirit that does not belong in this world. It is a similar case to his [White Dragon of Nihility] martial spirit.

His martial spirits are broken, but he needs all the power he can get to fight, defeat, and kill the control freak in the divine realm. Ellie had given him a full arsenal of martial spirits that made him an all-rounder.

The [White Dragon of Nihility] martial spirit can enhance his physique, body, and blood. His [Eyes of Heaven] martial spirit is for spiritual growth, support, and control. Finally, his [Monster Slime] martial spirit enhances his physique, healing, and versatility. Worthy of spending four charges from Ellie.

'Well, then the [White Dragon of Nihility] martial spirit can condense its own blood rings. For the [Eyes of Heaven] martial spirit, I want Ice Dream Silkworm to be the first spirit soul for it. Imagine nine-million-year rings; that would make ascension easier.'

'So now I am left with the [Monster Slime] martial spirit, and this is the one that I am going to train first along with the [White Dragon of Nihility] martial spirit.'

Normally, training two martial spirits at the same time can be considered wasteful. The general approach is to choose one of the two martial spirits and upgrade it to seven soul rings before adding ten-thousand-year soul rings to the second martial spirit.

Also, training two martial spirits at the same time puts a lot of pressure on the body of the soul master, which can lead to him exploding like an overinflated balloon.

But not for Yuhao, though; he is simply built different. After completing Alarion's legacy, he formed a dragon core in his body that will keep generating blood essence, which will be used in creating the blood rings. It also increased Yuhao's energy reserves to become astronomical and will assist Yuhao in manipulating the [Corrupt Light] element. The core will continue evolving as Yuhao grows stronger, so he can condense million-year blood rings for the [White Dragon of Nihility] martial spirit with no issues.

Another benefit he gained in the legacy trial is purifying the filthy [White Tiger] blood in his body. This allowed him to condense a blood core in his body, which is similar to a blood pool that keeps feeding on beast blood. The [White Tiger] is considered a beast king, so it has suppression on beasts. That suppression will grow as Yuhao grows and give him a stronger physique.

Yuhao will first condense a blood ring for the [White Dragon of Nihility] martial spirit and ask Ellie for a suitable soul ring for his [Monster Slime] martial spirit. What? You want him to absorb soul rings from soul beasts? I'm sorry, that won't be happening. He won't be wasting slots to get subpar skills from soul beasts.

'Hmm, since I am innate level 20, I will absorb two soul rings for the [Monster Slime] martial spirit. It will take some time for the dragon core to produce enough blood essence to condense the second blood ring,' Yuhao reasoned to himself and turned his gaze towards his mother.

Huo Yun'er was having the time of her life playing with his [Monster Slime] martial spirit. She kept shaping it, squeezing it, poking it, and finally hugged it. She enjoyed the feeling of it.

'As expected of my son. He is truly the one for me.' She had some unholy thoughts as she squeezed the [Monster Slime] martial spirit in her arms tightly.

Yuhao was unaware of her impure thoughts and simply enjoyed watching his mother play with this cute-looking [Monster Slime] martial spirit.

He used [Analytical Appraisal] on his martial spirits to determine their innate abilities, and the result left him speechless.

'Ellie, I am starting to get worried. You are giving me this stuff because you think I need it in my journey. But we are just facing some rogue god, Ellie. Not the entire universe,' Yuhao spoke to Ellie in his mind as he truly felt horror seeing the innate abilities of both martial spirits.

I made some changes to it because I am sick of reading about white-haired MCs. Every author nowadays makes his/her MC look like Gojo. Nothing is wrong with that, as long as they keep releasing chapters, I am satisfied. It is just annoying me a little when every book that I like has white-haired, blue-eyed MCs.

So, I made some changes to the hair color, and for the white part, I replaced it with blond hair from our favorite duck Durandal. So, his hair is a perfect mixture of Herrscher of Finality Kiana and Bianka. It kind of makes sense, Bianka had blond hair color even though she had the blood of [House Schariac] and [House Kaslana]. Some say that the blond hair was a result of the experiments done on her when she was severely injured as a child, but I did not find it in the wiki, so… *shrugs*

The eyes are the most important part. It was a very close vote. I settled with Herrscher of Finality Kiana and Herrscher of the Void eyes. And the pink hue glow is from the [Mystic Eyes of Death Perception]. I can't believe that I forgot about mystic eyes from Fate. That was the series that made me interested in eye powers, yet I forgot to include it in the vote.

Today's chapter took a long time to write. Honestly, I was going to skip today's chapter and compensate you guys with two chapters tomorrow. But that would be too much writing for me. But here we are with a 2.4k word chapter. Give me power stones, okay?
