Spiritual Awakening & Spirit

In the hall, the faint sound of the wind whistling broke the silence.

"Mutant E-spirit in the eyes!?" Han Linteng said shocked, as he looked at the glowing eyes in front of him. But soon his shock subsided, as normally a mutation was not a good thing to happen.

However, he didn't see both of Su Li's fists clenching as a glow enveloped both her hands tightly. Only Su Li who felt her fists heating up looked down for a few seconds.

At this time, Han Linteng also came to his senses.

"Come, let's test the power of your martial spirit." He said as he passed the blue sphere to Su Li.

"Hm." 

Su Li accepted the sphere in her hand and concentrated while imagining the energy leaving her body towards the sphere.

At the same moment, a blue glow began to be emitted from the sphere. Han Linteng also showed an expression of pleasant surprise at first, but it soon turned into complete disbelief as he saw the maximum glow being emitted by the sphere.

"Congenital Innate spiritual power. This is amazing!" 

"Boy, what's your name? Are you interested in joining the hall of spirits?" Han Linteng didn't miss the opportunity to invite him, as he would receive a big bonus if he brought someone of this level to the spirit hall.

Su Li was not surprised by the invitation, as he had expected something like this to happen. In fact, he was more surprised by his current situation than by this invitation. But still he responded like a normal child.

"Hm..no … I'd like to join Nuoding academy, as this was my mother's last wish!"

Smiling, Su Li blushed and accepted the small certificate in her hands.  

Han Linteng also smiled upon seeing this. Even having lost a young man who could be powerful in the future, he still preferred not to have to force someone to do something he didn't want to do.

When the children came out of the great hall next to Han Linteng, the old grandmother approached while anxiously asking:

"Spiritual Master, how was it? Does anyone in our village have potential this year?"

"That's true!?"

The old grandmother already had tears in her eyes when she heard the beginning of the sentence; hearing the rest, she couldn't help but walk towards Su Li and hug him tightly.

The village people also looked at Su Li with a different look. The children also had envious looks on their faces, all ndering why it wasn't them in Su Li's place. 

Afterwards, Su Li thanked Han Linteng before seeing him disappear out of the village in the company of some villagers.

"Um… The spirit master said it's an eye-type mutant martial soul!" Su Li said as he activated his martial soul. His eyes glowed a deep blue, with a few small white dots in his pupil. Very handsome!

"Wow!! Brother Li, your eyes are so pretty now!" Mengmeng suddenly appeared and jumped over Su Li's body and threw him a few steps forward.

Turning to her, Su Li asked feigning anger:

At this moment, a woman between 31 and 32 years old appeared in the crowd. His appearance was about 70% similar to Mengmeng, but his maturity was completely different.

She walked towards Su Li who was looking at Mengmeng, and smiled gently:

This woman has been friends with her mother in the past, and currently she was Mengmeng's mother. Lin Menghan.
