Tang Hao was troubled.
Years ago, he met someone — someone he was both familiar and unfamiliar with. That person was the brat from the neighboring Emperor Spirit Village, named Zong.
Seven years ago, Zong came to play with Tang San, but Tang Hao didn't think much of it. He figured it was just kids playing around, though Tang San didn't seem to like hanging out with Zong. After that, they never interacted again.
Six years ago, when Tang San awakened his spirit, Tang Hao was overjoyed to discover Tang San had twin martial spirits, which made him proud for a long time. Around that time, Old Jack mentioned that the brat from Emperor Spirit Village had also awakened his martial spirit, a mutated Blue Silver Grass, with innate full soul power just like Tang San.
Tang Hao was only slightly surprised by this — while rare, mutated martial spirits do appear from time to time. But no matter how gifted that brat might be, no one could surpass his own son with twin martial spirits.
Three years ago, Tang Hao secretly visited Nuoding Academy to check on Tang San, just as he did every year.
During this visit, he saw Zong walking by Tang San, accompanied by a girl named Xiao Wu.
For a brief moment, Tang Hao mistook Zong for his late wife, Ah Yin, as the boy's appearance was eerily similar — the same hair color, and even a similar facial structure. If it weren't for Tang San standing next to him, he would have believed that his son had already undergone a second awakening of the Blue Silver Emperor.
Tang Hao couldn't help but wonder: "Is this boy somehow connected to Ah Yin? Could Ah Yin have secretly given birth to twins without telling me, hiding one of them to keep him safe?"
Later, Tang Hao learned that the person he thought looked like his wife was indeed that brat Zong from Emperor Spirit Village. After some investigation, Tang Hao discovered that Zong was picked up from the ruins by the village chief nine years ago, right around the time when Tang Hao fought his battle with Qian Xunji. This coincidence only deepened his suspicions that Zong had some connection to Ah Yin.
Tang Hao's suspicions grew stronger after observing Zong over time. He realized Zong's martial spirit was actually the Blue Silver Emperor. At one point, Tang Hao even took some remnants of Zong's Blue Silver Emperor leaves and showed them to the infant form of Ah Yin. She reacted with sadness but also a sense of familiarity, caressing the remains as though they belonged to her own child.
This led Tang Hao to believe that Zong was not merely Zong, but likely his own son, Tang Zong. He knew how rare and difficult it was for the Blue Silver Emperor to awaken. Martial spirits can deceive, appearances can deceive, but bloodlines cannot. Ah Yin's unmistakable connection to Zong's martial spirit made Tang Hao certain that Zong was his flesh and blood.
Zong (rolling his eyes): "What the heck, Tang Hao? I stole this Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, okay? Stole it!"
Through prolonged observation, Tang Hao noticed Zong's cultivation speed was staggering, even shocking to him. By the age of 11, Zong had already reached the rank of Soul Elder. His senses were incredibly sharp, and he could now wield the Blue Silver Domain to control the Blue Silver Grass around him. Several times, Zong nearly caught Tang Hao spying on him.
In those moments, Tang Hao yearned to run up to Zong and yell, "I'm your father!" But he held back. The Spirit Hall was still hunting them, and Zong's ignorance was his greatest protection.
At least Tang Hao could take comfort in knowing that Zong wasn't just exceptionally talented, but also lucky with women. Not only had he raised a little girl as his companion, but he had also apparently picked up another "little wife" during his hunt for the third spirit ring.
Still, Tang Hao was troubled now. His son Tang San seemed to dislike Zong — even to the point of jealousy. The two were like fire and water, and that was a problem. As a father, Tang Hao knew he needed to find a way to mend their relationship.

At the Great Spirit Arena in Suotuo City, a month had passed since Shrek Academy defeated the Mad Battle Team.
As in the original story, even without Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing's "Nether White Tiger" fusion technique, the "Shrek Seven Devils" still managed to earn their Silver Spirit Fighting Badge.
It's worth noting that Zhu Zhuqing was particularly impressive during this period. She showcased remarkable control over her spirit power and physical abilities. In just four months, with Zong's assistance, her spirit power had increased by two levels, reaching rank 29, surpassing Ma Hongjun.
She had become the fifth strongest in Shrek's ranks, shocking many, and prompting Flender to berate Ma Hongjun for not keeping up as his personal disciple.
Inside the No. 7 VIP Box, the Shrek group gathered together.
The mood was heavy because they were about to face their most formidable opponents yet: the Emperor Team.
"Master, do we really have to fight the Emperor Team?" Ma Hongjun asked nervously.
Yu Xiaogang nodded, his eyes filled with battle intent. The Emperor Team's captain, Yu Tianheng, was his nephew and the heir to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan — the same clan that had cast him aside for his lack of talent. If his students could defeat the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, it would be the perfect revenge.
"We can win," Tang San suddenly declared, hoping to rally the team.
In the original story, Tang San's words might have boosted morale, but now, after witnessing Zong's overwhelming strength, the team didn't share his confidence.
Tang San felt a bit awkward, realizing his attempt at motivational speech had fallen flat.
Oscar raised his hand and said, "I just want to point out, while we shouldn't fear our opponents, Zong is Zhuqing's boyfriend, and we've all seen his terrifying power. His second spirit ability, Blue Silver Blades, is already hard enough to defend against. One misstep, and we'd all be turned into Swiss cheese. Who here can withstand that? And he still hasn't used his first or third spirit abilities!"
Dai Mubai nodded grimly, his body already altered. His character had been slowly changing since his injury, and though his castration hadn't led him down a path of vengeance, he now felt more like a femboy.
"Master," Dai Mubai said in a strange, high-pitched voice, "I despise that man too, but I must admit, he gives off an aura of invincibility."
Yu Xiaogang's eyes swept over the team, sensing their fear. But he had a solution.
With a strange smile, Yu Xiaogang said, "Have you ever heard of martial spirit attribute suppression?"
