CH 63: 3rd Martial Soul
"Wait, before you start, which Soul Bone are you planning to give him?" Nightmare quickly spoke before she could start the sacrifice.
Ice Empress :"The Torso Soul Bone, obviously. That is the best and most important Soul Bone after all, and what better Torso Soul Bone than the Soul Bone of a nearly 400,000-year one belonging to one of the strongest species of Soul Beast?"
Nightmare :"Listen to me, don't give him your Torso Soul Bone. Give him a Soul Bone other than the Torso Soul Bone."
Ice Empress, glaring :"Huh? Why, do you think my Torso Soul Bone isn't a good one?!"
Skydream :"Wait, Bing Bing, don't get mad! He has a point! After all, we're planning to negotiate with Snow Empress in the future as well!"
Ice Empress :"Snow Empress too?! Do you think she would accept, you worm?"
Skydream :"As long as she sees boss as worthy, she would definitely agree! She's different from you. If I'm right, knowing the limit of how far Soul Beasts can reach, she'll try to find a way to transform into a human in the future! If there's a way for her to reach Godhood and eternal life without needing to take the risk of being found by humans after transforming, she would definitely accept it!"

Ice Empress, glaring :"You... you don't accept the Soul Bone of a 700,000-year Soul Beast either? Whose Torso Soul Bone do you want, Di Tian's?"
Ah Li :"Nightmare, I'm sure we have a chance with the Snow Empress, but I'm definitely sure we won't strike a deal with Di Tian with how much he hates humans."
Nightmare, shaking head :"No, not Di Tian's Torso Soul Bone either."
Ah Li :"Wha- Nightmare, there isn't a Soul Beast with a higher cultivation base than Di Tian that I'm aware of. Who are you targeting, a 1,000,000-year Soul Beast or something?"
Nightmare :"..."
Ah Li :"Yo... you can't be serious..."
Nightmare :"I am. I have a 1,000,000-year Soul Beast in mind, and I assure you of success with making him your Soul Spirit."
Ah Li :"Another 1,000,000-year... but no 1,000,000-year other than Skydream had ever shown up in the original. Wait, is that 1,000,000-year Soul Beast like you?"
Nightmare :"That's right, he's a 1,000,000-year Centipede-type Soul Beast as well. As I've told you, Centipede-type Soul Beasts are the best at hiding for a long time. That's probably why you don't know about him."

And so, the sacrifice began. As they both ascended into the sky and light enveloped them both, Ice Empress's essence began to pour out of her body and compress into a green ball with a scorpion logo on it. Moments later, when all of her essence had turned into a ball, her body began to fall from the sky upon the green ball entering Ah Li's Spiritual Sea through his forehead.
Inside the boundless starry Spiritual Sea, the sky turned blue and icy, with a golden pillar forming in the middle. And from the pillar, a giant ice with Ice Empress's scorpion body inside began to descend. Once completed inside of the Spiritual Sea, the ice completely melted and Ice Empress began to float around in her new home.
"Welcome to our new home, Ah Li's Spiritual Sea." Skydream welcomed with a smile before she saw Bibi Dong, Qian Renxue and Hu Liena. Outside, as Ice Empress's essence entered his Spiritual Sea, Ah Li began to fall. Landing beside Ice Empress's corpse, he didn't waste a moment before sitting cross legged to finish the process.
He attracted the corpse towards him, and it took but a moment for it to pierce his right arm with its stinger. Normally, like the original, he should have experienced unimaginable pain. After all, absorbing the Soul Bone of a 400,000-year Soul Beast was no easy feat. Especially not when it came to one he had no compatibility with.
However, he wouldn't have that. Using his Orbs, he deactivated his pain sensors, making it so the entire process from the beginning was without a single bit of pain. After all, he wasn't a masochist. If necessary, he would accept and deal with it. But if not, and if he could not feel the pain instead, he would definitely choose this method.
As the process started, and an elegant piece of green armor formed around his right forearm, an ice cocoon enveloped him. Inside of his Spiritual Sea, the logo of a blue scorpion began to form in the starry sky. The symbol of his newest Martial Soul, the Ice Jade Scorpion Empress.
The day slowly passed, and so did the night with it. The next morning, once he opened his eyes, a beam of light shot towards the sky, signifying his success. Standing up, sensing himself shirtless, he took a look at his back using a mirror-like ice in the place. He whistled :"Golly, this is one sweet tattoo."
"(Hehehehe, you should check out what's really sweet, boss.)" Skydream's voice came from his Spiritual Sea. Understanding him, he released his new Martial Soul and its new Soul Ring :"(In the process of your union with Bing Bing, with the help of my power, she managed to break through to 400,000-years! So the power of your Soul Ring is not 390,000-years, but 400,000-years!"
As an icy air spread around the area that would make even fire attributed Soul Masters shiver, his brand new orange Soul Ring manifested around him. Spreading a terrifying aura that didn't let any Soul Beasts get close, even if some had dared to do so.
"Now this is what I'm talking about." Ah Li smirked before entering his Spiritual Sea :"Good job, Skydream. And welcome to our lively home, Ice Empress. I hope you enjoy it with everybody else here."
Ice Empress :"Hm, thank you. When I entered your body, I consumed a lot of Soul Power. Now I'm a bit weak. Listen, Ah Li, now I am a part of your soul. My abilities can also be used by you. So you have to remember the four Soul Skills I've given you."
Ah Li :"Four, huh? Right, two from the Soul Ring, and two from the Soul Bone."
Ice Empress :"Correct. So you should practice with them to use them more easily. However, I must admit, these Soul Skills are quite powerful considering the others here lent me their powers."

"Alright, then let's get out of here." Ah Li smirked, exiting his Spiritual Sea with an evil grin :"Next stop, Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well!" And with that, he immediately took off. Not even wasting a moment before activating his Orbs to go even faster. Deciding to leave the explanations to the others while he focused on running.
He couldn't use them in full blast though, he was worried he would move back in time or something out of nowhere. But even so, he still looked like a blur to Soul Beasts that were a few thousands of years short of reaching 100,000-years.
He was a patient person, but he was too excited to wait any longer. He had dreamed of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well for years. Being a greedy person for treasures, he had always planned to take the Immortal Herbs even if he had already become a god. If it was good, it was his. No way in hell would he let somebody else have treasures that made people have the potential to reach Godhood. Especially not to Tang San of all bastards.
Not even half an hour later, he had already reached the Sunset Forest. An extremely hidden Soul Beast Forest, very close to Heaven Dou City. And the place where the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and the Immortal Herbs were hidden in by Dugu Bo. Thinking about all the goodies, a sinister and evil smile appeared on his face.
