Divine Ring and Runes

Outside, Nero and Ren's physical bodies levitated, suspended in the air as enigmatic chains of blue and red energy connected them to their Martial souls and spirit souls while a swirling vortex of Heaven and Earth energies gathered above them. The four red 100,000-year soul rings surrounding Yamato and Dante gradually disintegrated into particles of light, which were then absorbed into Nero and Ren's bodies.

As time passed, the blue and red structures behind Nero and Ren began to materialize. Slowly, the shape of the Divine Rings became clear. Each Divine Ring was composed of two solid, hollow circles, with the outer one slightly elongated on the sides. The outer circle featured two simple, sharp thorn-like structures on either side, while the inner circle boasted more intricate designs. At the core of the inner circle, a white, misty sphere was suspended, protected by an energy cover. The two Divine Rings were identical, with the only difference being their colors.

Once the Divine Rings had fully taken shape, the red spots of light from the spirit rings gathered around the outer rings of both Divine Rings. Gradually, they transformed into four intricate runes suspended within the rings. These four runes were distinct for Ren and Nero, each reflecting their respective spirit ring abilities. Simultaneously, five runes, of which four were identical for both Nero and Ren, converged within the inner rings. { Picture in comments}

With the formation of the outer ring's runes being complete, two similar Divine Rings materialized behind Iblis and Zyris. Iblis's Divine Ring was black and purple, while Zyris's was white and black. The most astonishing transformation was that Iblis and Zyris, who had appeared somewhat translucent before, became fully solid, like real creatures.

After the runes in the inner rings had completely formed, Dante and Yamato slightly trembled and flew into Nero and Ren's hands. An overwhelming bloodline pressure surged out of Nero and Ren, and their eyes opened with their pupils now transformed into Demon Eyes. However, unlike their previous purple color, Nero's eyes were now a deep blue, while Ren's were a fiery red.

But the transformation didn't stop there as a pair of demonic wings with red-orange intricate lines unfolded behind Ren, and similar red-orange lines, like small veins, shone on the skin of his hands, legs, and chest.

In Nero's case, his pairs of demonic wings were slightly lower in position, adorned with intricate blue lines, and similar blue-colored veins traced across his hands, legs, and chest. Additionally, a sharp demonic blue-black tail extended from an area slightly below his neck.

" What form is this? " Nero and Ren simultaneously exclaimed out loud as they examined their forms, which were unlike anything they had seen before in Dante's and Vergil's stories.

Aria, appearing in her Bionic form, responded, " You can think of this as your new version of Devil Trigger."

Ren, still puzzled, questioned, " Why did the Devil Trigger form change?"

Aria explained, " Because your bloodline concentration has surpassed seventy percent. When it reaches eighty percent, you both will gain access to Sin Devil Trigger. So, Devil Trigger has essentially evolved into a precursor for Sin Devil Trigger."

Nero, noticing the significantly lower consumption rate of his Demonic-spirit energy, expressed his surprise, " Why is the consumption rate for this Devil Trigger so much lower than the previous one?"

Aria explained, " There are two main reasons for that. First, your bloodline concentration has passed the second threshold. Second, it's due to the runes within the inner part of your Divine Rings, which are an evolved version of soul cores."

Both Nero and Ren looked at Aria with raised eyebrows, asking simultaneously, " Evolved version?"

" Look at  your status you will understand everything." Aria instead of answering displayed their status.

Nero and Ren were both in a state of shock, and Nero asked Aria, " Can we even be considered soul masters anymore?" Ren shared the same sentiment, as they were starting to realize that Aria had fundamentally altered the way soul abilities worked. With their current abilities and the numerous Laws they possessed, they were becoming something entirely new

Aria clarified, "Well, this isn't as extreme as it may sound. In reality, what matters most is the origin that someone comprehends, not just the Law."

Ren was still a bit puzzled, so he asked, "Origin?"

Aria went on to explain further, "Let me give you an analogy. Think of a soul ring or rune ability as an application on a computer. You can use it, but you don't necessarily know how it was created. Now, a Law is like having control over some of the code of that application; it allows you to control how the app works in different ways. The Origin, on the other hand, is like having complete control over that specific application. You become the personification of its attributes, having mastery over both its frontend and backend, in essence, becoming one with it."

" And, let me guess comprehending Origin of something is related to Martial soul " Nero said as he placed his hand under his chin.

Aria confirmed Nero's guess with a nod and added, "Exactly. Comprehending the Origin of something is closely related to one's Martial soul. The specific Law that is most connected to one's Martial soul or Bloodline has the best chance of allowing you to step into the Origin. Your Bloodline and Martial soul are part of you from birth, unlike other rune abilities that you acquire through cultivation. In both of your cases, the Law of Demon and your Martial soul's Innate Laws are integral to this process."

Ren raised his hand and asked, "Why is my first rune ability the same as this idiot's? I don't think I had that."

Nero rolled his eyes and replied, "Dumbass, she obviously did that to enhance your recovery rate. It would be embarrassing if you lost a fight because of your stamina."

Ren turned towards Nero and mocked, "Well, I didn't need it specifically, as unlike a certain someone, I have enough stamina."

"I will tell Mom," Aria said. As soon as she uttered those words, both Nero and Ren instantly stood straight and saluted. Aria shook her head at their antics and explained, "I replaced this ability because it would evolve into the Law of Cause and Effect, which will help you both in various fighting situations."

Nero noticed the change in his status and asked Aria, "Aria, why are my Energy Demon wings now denoted as Energy Demon Claws?"

Aria explained, "With your Devil Trigger, you can now specifically summon your wings and tail without amplification. You're likely to use this form more frequently than the Energy Demon wings, so the Energy Demon wings will now manifest as two enlarged Energy Demon hands that will surround you. Of course, when you activate Overdrive specifically, they will revert to their winged form."  hearing this Nero was about to summon his energy Demon claws when Aria interjected, " You can't use them for next few days as they are currently in process of morphing "

Ren asked a question about the Divine ring's inner ring, "What is the white misty sphere in the center of the inner ring?"

Aria explained, "That is the position for a prototype space realm. It will become available after Mom finishes developing the method to create it." Ren nodded in understanding.

Nero, while examining his status, suddenly questioned, "Space God Bloodline? When did we have that?"

Aria replied with a shrug, "I don't know; perhaps Mom knows more about it."

Ren suggested, "Well, let's go then. There isn't much left to do." Aria and Nero agreed, and they used the space rift formed by Yamato to depart toward the space realm created by Aurora.
