Xander awoke feeling remarkably refreshed and at ease, his body revitalized and ready to face the day's challenges. As he sat up, he noticed an unusual grainy texture within his fingertips. Upon moving his hand, small golden specks elegantly trailed off through the gaps in his open palms.
"Hmm, that's quite strange. There wasn't any sand in my bed before I fell asleep… ahh!"
Xander clutched his head as a torrent of memories that were not his own began to flow within his mind. The influx of information was uncomfortable, so Xander used his mental energy to suppress the new knowledge, deciding to get an idea of where he was first.
Xander's head shot up as he observed his surroundings.
To his surprise, he was no longer amidst the vibrant greenery of the Star Dou Forest, nor within the comfort of his previous living quarters. Instead, he found himself inside a tent that was far more lacklustre and unaccommodating. The interior was sparse, constructed from coarse fabrics and salvaged materials, resembling a makeshift shelter.
The sand-covered floor crunched beneath his touch, and the warm desert breeze whispered through the open flaps of the tent. The dim light filtering through the gaps created an otherworldly atmosphere. The air carried a distinct scent of dry sand and adventure, an experience entirely different from the lush and fresh breeze he had known in the Star Dou Forest.
The walls of the tent appeared to be made from patched-together fabrics of various colours and patterns, held in place by weathered wooden beams. In the centre of the tent, a small, makeshift table held a few essentials, including a metal canteen and a mysterious cylindrical device with buttons and lights that Xander couldn't quite identify.
Sparsely furnished, the tent featured a few rough-hewn wooden crates serving as makeshift seats or storage. There was a rugged charm to the place, as if it belonged to someone who embraced the adventure and challenges of desert life.
Stepping outside the tent, Xander gazed at the vast landscape. The golden dunes stretched out endlessly, creating a mesmerizing and desolate beauty. Twin suns cast their harsh light upon the barren terrain, hinting at the unforgiving nature of this desert planet.
While Xander felt excitement and curiosity about entering a new world, he couldn't help but also feel fear and uncertainty. Looking down, he realized he was in a different body, similar in age and appearance to his own, but with a more rugged and tinted complexion.
His thoughts returned to the process that brought him here. Gaining a spirit ring had seemingly triggered his transportation.
Did that mean that every time he gained a spirit ring, he would be forced to leaving Soul Land? The experience was still memorable as that incessant noise had overwhelmed him burning though his mental energy to the point, he had been forced to accept this'd one sided invitation.
Xander also worried about his body back in soul land.
After all who would take care of his body!
The giant orb had mentioned that time would still flow the same.
Concerned about how long he would spend in this world, he pondered the state of his body back in Soul Land. Would it deteriorate if left unattended for too long? Xander's body wouldn't be getting any food and without food and water, the body wouldn't last long. Xander hoped the body of a soul master would last longer compared to someone ordinary. The dean was also there, so hopefully his body wouldn't die whilst he was gone.
Xander quickly changed his train of though knowing that he had to focus on the task at hand – finding and dealing with the reincarnator quickly in order to return to his body. But Xander wished he had been given time to prepare or inform someone before being whisked away.
Thinking about dealing with the reincarnator, another fear struck him; he had left his body, the vessel he used to cultivate spirit energy in Soul Land. Would he still possess his supernatural abilities here? As if in response to his thoughts, a subtle vibration of energy appeared within his mind. His consciousness had come with him and the familiar mental energy, and though he no longer sensed spirit energy, he felt another alien energy, similar and yet far different energy permeate in his surroundings.
As Xander inspected this new energy, he found he could interact with it by using his own mental energy. This new energy, controlled by his mental energy, seemed to connect everything around him. He could feel its presence, a profound and mystical power that he couldn't fully comprehend. It wrapped around him like an invisible embrace, making him feel both small and significant in the vastness of this new world.
As Xander ventured further into this strange state of mind, the pull grew stronger, guiding him toward some yet-unknown destiny. It was as if he was being drawn to a purpose beyond his understanding. But with every step he took, his connection to this energy intensified, granting him heightened awareness and an uncanny intuition.
Though filled with uncertainty, he couldn't help but marvel at this newfound power. He sensed that it held both light and darkness, each calling to him in a delicate balance. In response to this calling Xander instinctively new or so his body did what this power was.
"The Force?"
Pulling his thought away from this new power Xander went into his mind space hoping the perks he had been promised where there.
Standing in-front of an ever-radiating sephiroth grail. A retinue of messages composed of mental energy appeared before Xander.
