Chapter 40 - Eye of Destiny, Talking to the Beast God

Di Tian and the others watching this strange, yet dazzling phenomenon were surprised before exclaiming in ecstasy as they felt the Golden Lion's auspicious aura grow more powerful. However, Di Tian maintained a calm expression despite the waves in his heart.

He also got more curious. When Mo Xie battled the Soul Sage and released his Mystic Heavenly Wolf martial soul, he was able to feel that primordial aura that Mo Xie released.

When the phenomenon ended, Di Tian said, "Do you understand your current situation now?"

Mo Xie smirked. He would be an idiot if he didn't realize that the Golden Lion must have been attracted after feeling the aura of his Mystic Eyes through his third eye and the power of destiny.

"From now on you will live in Star Dou Forest and you won't have to worry about what happens in the outside world. Now that you have a connection with the Auspicious Beast, we can't let you run around anymore." Di Tian replied blankly.

"Impossible! Although I'm grateful for getting a new power, I still have a lot of things I must and want to do. I can't be stuck here forever." Mo Xie immediately denied it.

Even Di Tian felt pressured under this aura and if it weren't for his extremely high cultivation, he would have bowed to his knees on the ground.

Di Tian looked at the image of the White Wolf behind Mo Xie solemnly and removed his own aura. He, Bi Ji and the other beasts in human form were extremely shocked by this development.

His body expanded, making his muscles swell. Wolf's claws grew on his fingers and white fur covered his arms. Wolf fangs grew in his mouth and a twelve-color glow could be seen in his pupils.

A twelve-colored ring appeared from his feet as a domain stretched out to a radius of 100 meters, causing all the elements to obey Mo Xie's call. A primordial aura could be felt in his body, but it was much weaker than what he had released before. However, that was only because Mo Xie's cultivation was low.

"Eh?!" Di Tian and the others who heard his words and witnessed his transformation were once again surprised when a female voice was heard from within the Lake of Life.
