Douluo Dalu: Ōtsutsuki?

Dying, he awakened in a world different from his. A world of where one could cultivate their 'soul' with some capable of reaching the rank of Godhood. The world of Douluo Dalu. There was nothing that really bothered him about his reincarnation except the fact that he had reincarnated into the body of a six-year-old GIRL! "Why?" He mumbled, reaching under his gown to search for his family jewels. Nothing ____________________ This is my First Fanfiction, and I'm writing for fun. If you have any ideas, let me know.

Chapter 32: Learning

Wong Yazhu mastered math, writing, and reading in just one day, so Jing Wei quickly moved on to history.

The history of this world was fragmented, with 600,000 years of human history, far surpassing Earth's 200,000 years. There were four major eras—five if you count the Age of Beasts, where humans were prey to soul beasts.

The Epoch of Heroes followed, where the first soul masters emerged after a human with full innate soul power mistakenly absorbed a soul ring from a slain beast. During this era, it was believed that most humans could become spirit masters, with martial souls far superior to modern ones. However, due to limited knowledge, the strongest reached only the Spirit King rank. How historians knew this was unclear to Wong Yazhu, but her focus was on learning.

After the 10,000-year-long Epoch of Heroes came the Era of Growth, where humans refined soul master techniques and experienced a population boom, establishing homes and cities. Soul beasts, once powerful, gradually became less of a threat as human intelligence prevailed. By the end of this 300,000-year era, humans dominated the continent, and soul masters became the most vital profession.

Next was the Dynasty of Sects, a 200,000-year period known as The Golden Age of Cultivation. Powerful sects and clans ruled vast territories, shaping the world's spiritual and political landscape. Cultivation techniques advanced to unprecedented levels during this time.

Following the Dynasty of Sects came the Millennium of Turmoil, lasting almost 100,000 years. This chaotic period was filled with conflict between sects, invasions from intelligent spirit beasts, and natural disasters. During this era, the first Titled Douluo, known as the "Jade Emperor," appeared. He was said to have slain three Centamillennial beasts at once as a Spirit Emperor, using their rings to ascend to Spirit Saint, Spirit Douluo, and finally, Titled Douluo.

The Jade Emperor sought to unify the continent under his rule, but two more Titled Douluos emerged—the "Queen of Stars" and the "One Above Heaven." It was during this time when there was an all-out war between the humans and the spirit beast, and it ended with the continent being split in three.

Douluo Continent, Sun Moon Continent, and the Star Luo Continent. It's impossible to access another continent if you aren't at least a Super Douluo....

Jing Wei's dark eyes glanced up from the book she was lecturing from, her gaze locking onto Wong Yazhu. The young girl sat upright, her posture perfect, a notebook open in front of her. Everything about her form was flawless—except for her eyes, which were closed.

Jing Wei's stare lingered for a moment, and as if sensing it, Wong Yazhu slowly opened her eyes, her brown irises meeting Jing Wei's steady gaze. The silence hung between them for a second before Wong Yazhu offered a defense.

"I was resting my eyes," she explained, her tone calm.

"Resting your eyes for three minutes?" Jing Wei's voice carried no judgment, just a statement of fact.

"My eyes were tired," Wong Yazhu countered, "but I heard your entire lecture."

"Enlighten me." Jing Wei's expression didn't change. "What was the last thing I said?"

Wong Yazhu paused, and rather than answer, she tried to change the subject. "Why am I learning about history, anyway? I'm a martial master. Shouldn't I be learning more about my martial soul or something?"

Jing Wei closed her book without breaking eye contact. "You are a noble lady before you are a martial master."

"Noble?" Wong Yazhu blinked, realization dawning on her. "Oh..." She thought for a moment. "Yun Ho is a noble..."

"Your actions will reflect upon Lord Yun." Jing Wei nodded. "Any negative view on you will directly impact his reputation."

Picking another book, she flipped the page of the book without even glancing at it, she added, "So you need to learn to act like a noble lady."

Wong Yazhu sighed, her shoulders sagging slightly. "Apart from history, what else do I have to learn?"

"Posture and Etiquette, Calligraphy, Painting, Music, Embroidery, Poetry, Tea Ceremony—"

"Damn," Wong Yazhu muttered under her breath as Jing Wei continued, undeterred.

"Flower Arranging, Weaving and Textile Knowledge, Weiqi, Medicine and Herbal Knowledge, Household Management—"

"Holy shit," Wong Yazhu's voice barely escaped her lips, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"Fashion and Adornment, Cooking and Banquet Etiquette and, "Jing Wei, her face as emotionless as ever, looked up and added the final blow. "Motherhood."

"Jesus!" Wong Yazhu shot out of her seat, her expression twisted in horror.

"Don't worry," Jing Wei said calmly. "You are not expected to learn everything until your coming of age at sixteen. You have eight years."

"No, I don't care about that," Wong Yazhu shook her head desperately. "I'm not planning on marrying so you can take off the last part."

"You'll need to become a mother to have an heir," Jing Wei responded to Wong Yazhu's bold claim.

Wong Yazhu returned to her seat. "Why would I need an heir if I'm going to be immortal?"

One of Jing Wei's brows lifted slightly higher, a trace of amusement playing on her otherwise stoic face. "Immortal?"

Wong Yazhu nodded. "Yes, I'm going to be immortal."

For the first time, Jing Wei almost laughed, which caught Wong Yazhu off guard. The older woman quickly covered her mouth with the book she had been holding, regaining her composure.

"Excuse me," she said, stifling the chuckle before continuing. "How long do you think a Limit Douluo lives?" She paused briefly, then added, "No, better yet, how long do you think an average Titled Douluo lives?"

Wong Yazhu stared at her for a moment, considering her answer. "One thousand years?"

Jing Wei's lips curved slightly. "That's... cute," she murmured. "Depending on one's martial soul, bloodline, cultivation method, and several other conditions, a rank 99 Limit Douluo can barely live up to six hundred years."

Wong Yazhu's eyes widened as Jing Wei added, "Do you really think a Titled Douluo could live a millennium?" She shook her head. "Those stories you've heard about immortality—they're a joke. The higher realms offer more power, more knowledge, but we aren't spirit beasts. Our age is limited."

"But what about when you reach rank 100 and become a god?" Wong Yazhu asked.

"That is a myth." Jing Wei's expression hardened. "No one has ever gone beyond Limit Douluo."

'Cute.' Wong Yazhu forced herself not to say that as she asked, "How do you know? Maybe you're just a big fish in a small pond in terms of knowledge."

Jing Wei's faint smile returned, though she didn't reply. Instead, she turned her attention back to her book and said, "Let's focus on what's in front of us." She picked up a pen and began to write on a piece of paper. "We should split the skills you need to learn into three categories. First, the skills that can be easily mastered using your Sharingan."

"Posture can be easily mastered, as you can observe and replicate movements after seeing them performed. Etiquette, calligraphy, weiqi, painting, and embroidery—all can be mastered with the Sharingan." She paused, looking at the girl. "For music, learning instruments should be easy, but for singing, the breath control and muscle movements will take time for mastery."

Jing Wei continued writing, "The second category consists of skills that will require more time, despite your Sharingan. These include literature, history, poetry, medicine, and herbal knowledge. And the final group is the one where your Sharingan won't be much help: tea ceremony, cooking, and banquet etiquette."

With her writing done, she placed the pen to the side. "Which group do you want to begin with?" Jing Wei asked, looking up.

"The first group," Wong Yazhu answered quickly, 'I can get that out of the way faster, and it will let me use my Sharingan. Besides, who wouldn't want to learn to paint and play some Chinese instruments?'

Jing Wei nodded in approval. "Since your posture is already better than most noble ladies,"

'Thanks to Tang San,' Wong Yazhu thought to herself.

"We'll begin with social etiquette," Jing Wei added, standing up. "Follow me."

Days passed, and soon a month had slipped by. In that time, Wong Yazhu mastered etiquette, calligraphy, and embroidery with ease, thanks to her Sharingan. Now, she sat at the same table in the library, overlooking the maze garden as she read a book about Chinese chess, her Sharingan active. It made learning nearly effortless, and she had been abusing it to no end.

'Such a calm day.' She thought to herself, looking out the window. 'Just the perfect weather to play League of Legends—'

"Have you ever gone into the maze?"

Wong Yazhu jolted, muttering, "Oh, shit," as she looked to see Yun Ho walking up to the table.

"I see you haven't been taught proper etiquette yet," he commented with a smile.

Wong Yazhu immediately stood from her seat, pushing the chair back as she performed a half-bow, lowering her head slightly while keeping her back straight and her hands placed one over the other in front of her.

"Disciple greets Master." She greeted.

"No need for all that." Yun Ho waved his hand dismissively. "A simple greeting will suffice when we're alone."

She straightened up. "Right," she said, as Yun Ho walked over and gestured for her to sit down. She returned to her chair.

"I noticed you reached rank twelve this morning," he said, his tone impressed. "Quite a feat, considering you only spend a few hours a day cultivating."

"Thank you," Wong Yazhu smiled, 'I've been grinding instead of sleeping for the past month, but I guess you wouldn't know that.'

Yun Ho placed six books on the table and asked, "You haven't attended any Primary Spirit Master academies, so what cultivation method are you using?"

Wong Yazhu replied casually. "The first time, I just circulated my soul power randomly through my body, and it worked, so I kept using that path."

She wasn't about to reveal she was using a cultivation method brought by a reincarnator from another world who is also the son of a Titled Douluo hiding from the Spirit Hall. This explanation worked well enough, as there were other spirit masters who developed their own false techniques.

Yun Ho nodded thoughtfully. "I thought so." He spread the six books across the table. "But that method will harm your meridians and body in the long run. It's best to stop before you reach rank 15."

Wong Yazhu noticed that Yun Ho was still standing and realized that none of the library's chairs could accommodate his massive frame.

'Big man,' Her face remained stoic. 'Lose some weight.'

"I can almost hear your thoughts," Yun Ho said with a smirk.

"I apologize," Wong Yazhu replied quickly.

Yun Ho chuckled. "No problem. Let's get straight to it." He cleared his throat and began. "First, let's start with the system of martial masters. There are Controllers, Fighters, Mages, Marksmen, Slayers, Tanks, and Specialists."

Wong Yazhu blinked, noticing his stare. "What?"

"You weren't paying attention," Yun Ho said, raising an eyebrow.

'The fuck?' Wong Yazhu thought before responding, "I was."

Yun Ho nodded slowly. "Then, what are the systems a spirit master falls under?"

Wong Yazhu answered confidently, "Controller, Fighter, Mage, Marksman, Slayer, Tank, and Specialist."

Yun Ho's brow furrowed. "I did not say that."

"Eh?" Wong Yazhu uttered, confused.

"I said Controller, Assault, Speed, Defense, Auxiliary, and Healing." He frowned. "See, you weren't paying attention."

Wong Yazhu could only stare. "No, you said..." She trailed off, her memory clearing as she remembered what exactly he said. 'Ah, I was thinking about League of Legends.'

Wong Yazhu cleared her throat, leaning forward as she spoke. "But my classification is better."

"Oh?" Yun Ho raised a brow. "And why do you think so?"

"It sounds better," Wong Yazhu replied confidently. "For instance, 'Tank' sounds better than 'Defense,' and it's more generalized. Tell me, what does a defense class do?"

"A defense system belongs to a soul master with great natural defensive capabilities." Yun Ho explained calmly.

Wong Yazhu tilted her head. "So that means they mainly act as a shield or blocker for other spirit masters?"

Yun Ho gave a short nod, folding his arms across his chest. "Yes, that's exactly right."

"Then why would you call it defense?" An amused smile appeared on Wong Yazhu's lips.

"Not me." Yun Ho's eyes flickered with a hint of exasperation, but he answered patiently. "Everyone in this world. It's just how it is."

"Let me cook," Wong Yazhu said, her tone shifting with playful determination.

Yun Ho blinked, visibly confused. "Cook what?"

She waved her hand dismissively. "What if this 'defense' champion has more health than defense? Meaning, what if they can regain their 'HP' quicker than they lose it? Their defense is low, but their survivability is godlike. Wouldn't they still be classified as a 'defense' soul master?"

Yun Ho's expression softened as he nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, that's still considered defense, because—"

"What about offensive 'defense' soul masters?" Wong Yazhu cut him off. "The ones that charge for their team and specialize at bringing the action, the initiators? They'd still fall under the term defense, but does that sound right to you? Why would a soul master with zero defense, but three thousand health, be called defense?"

"And then there's your assault system," Wong Yazhu interjected, "what's that?"

Yun Ho sighed. "Assault system soul masters excel in dealing great damage and generally have great vitality, acting as the main and front attackers."

"That actually sounds like the fighter I was thinking of." Wong Yazhu nodded. "But let's change that description a bit—how about we call them short-ranged soul masters who excel at both dealing and surviving damage? Not as durable as the tank, but they still deal damage."

Yun Ho raised a brow. "So who's the main damage dealer, then?"

"Hold on, I'm cooking," Wong Yazhu replied with a smirk.

Yun Ho's face scrunched in genuine confusion. "Cooking what?"

"Onto mages." Wong Yazhu ignored him. "Mages are basically soul masters who typically possess great reach, soul-skill-based area-of-effect damage, and crowd control. It's broad, and you can fit a lot of people in there. I mean, where would a soul master that deals AoE damage and mostly relies on their soul skills fall under in your categorization?"

Yun Ho answered without hesitation, "They'd fall under Controller."

Wong Yazhu rolled her eyes dramatically. "Now, why would they fall under Controller if they can only deal overwhelming AoE damage and have no control capability? What if a soul master can barrage damage to a single person from a ranged area to kill them? Would they be a Controller?"

Yun Ho opened his mouth to respond, but Wong Yazhu beat him to it. "You'd say Assault, right? But I thought assault soul masters were front attackers?"

Yun Ho blinked, thrown off. "Exactly." Wong Yazhu smirked "It doesn't fit, does it? We'll skip Maskman and move on to Slayer."

Yun Ho frowned. "Why are you skipping Maskman?"

"Doesn't sound like it fits this world's power system," she replied nonchalantly.

Yun Ho sighed, rubbing his temple. "I don't get it, but go on."

Wong Yazhu's eyes glinted mischievously. "What's a speed system, then?"

"They focus on a fusion of speed and attack power, observation, and recon." Yun Ho explained matter-of-factly. "Because of that, they generally have less than average combat potential."

"Less than average combat potential?" Wong Yazhu repeated incredulously before bursting into laughter. She slapped the table exaggeratedly. "Hahahaha! Why would you think that?"

Yun Ho stared at her, his fingers twitching. 'I want to slap this girl,' he thought. But he simply continued listening.

"Man, you need to rethink that one, for real." Wong Yazhu wiped a tear from her eye, still chuckling as she leaned back. "Slayers are highly mobile soul masters who specialize in single-target burst damage. They're usually close-range like fighters, but they lack the resilience fighters have. What they do have is the ability to close distances quickly, kill priority targets, and retreat just as fast."

Yun Ho raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And scouts?"

"They can go under Slayers too, since they do recon and hit key targets," she replied, leaning forward slightly. "Now, for controllers—yours and mine are basically the same."

"I'm bout to finish~" Wong Yazhu smirked, "Since controllers assist their allies with utility and keep enemies at bay with crowd control, I'd call them 'Support.' They literally support the team—not just by controlling enemies, but by providing buffs and healing. So food, healing, and the auxiliary system fall under that umbrella."

Yun Ho leaned back, nodding slowly as Wong Yazhu grinned. "Three in one," she said confidently. "Now, doesn't that sound nice? Your martial soul falls under the fighter class, while mine would be support." She licked her lips. "How do you like my cooking?"

Yun Ho stared at her for a moment, then burst into laughter. "Hahaha!" He laughed loudly, the fat on his face and stomach giggling. "Interesting—truly an interesting system," he chuckled, "I'll be submitting this to the Spirit Hall under my name."

He became serious. "I cooked this, not you."

Wong Yazhu shrugged casually. "What's mine is yours, Master."

Yun Ho cracked a smile. "So, what are Specialists?"

"Specialists are those who don't quite fit into any of the five categories, or they somehow fall into multiple categories." She nodded. "They're the exception, the wildcard. The joker."

Yun Ho thought for a while before asking, "You came up with all of this just now?"

"Yeah, I just made it up." Wong Yazhu replied nonchalantly. 'Who will claim plagiarism? Another reincarnator?'

"Creativity—it's a good trait for spirit masters." Yun Ho said approvingly.

"Thank you, Master," Wong Yazhu responded.

"Now that you know about the six categories," Yun Ho continued, "you should know that each class requires different 'builds.' For example," he gestured to the books laid out before them, "a tank would need a body more durable than a mage, while a Slayer would need speed over durability. That's where cultivation methods come in. Each method, when cultivated long enough, specializes the body differently."

He pointed to a book at the far left. "This method focuses on increasing overall body strength—perfect for Fighters and Tanks." Then he moved to the next one. "This one enhances speed." Moving to another, he added, "This focuses on defense. And this," he gestured to another book, "increases the quantity of your soul power but weakens your physical body. This one boosts your senses, and finally," he pointed to the last book, "this one increases your lifespan, but at the cost of soul power and physical strength."

Yun Ho slid the sense-enhancing manual toward Wong Yazhu. "I recommend this one. Increasing your sight will most definitely make your martial soul stronger."

Wong Yazhu nodded thoughtfully, glancing at the books. As much as she was tempted by the longevity cultivation method, she knew the path to godhood lay elsewhere—after all, she was in the same age group as Tang San. If she hadn't found the path to godhood by the time she became a Title Douluo, she could always return to him and suck his toes.

She glanced over the other options, ruling out defense, strength, and sense. 'Why improve my sight when my Sharingan already gives me the best vision in my realm?' She thought to herself. Finally, her hand moved to the soul power manual.

She reached for the quantity cultivation manual instead. 'Who needs speed when you have Amenotejikara?' she thought, smiling to herself. Plus, she suspected many of her future abilities would require vast amounts of soul power. 'Especially the Deva Path or even the Susanoo.'

Yun Ho nodded approvingly. "That was my second choice for you. It'll let you cast stronger illusions and use your...Ameketo—"

"Amenotejikara," Wong Yazhu corrected.

Yun Ho raised an eyebrow. "Why did you name it that?"

"It just came to mind, and I liked it," She shrugged as she activated her Sharingan and opened the manual.

Yun Ho, observing her closely, suddenly frowned. "You know, I noticed this earlier, but your eyes—they're different."

Wong Yazhu didn't look up from the book. "Different how?"

"You have three magatama in each eye now," Yun Ho noted, his voice low. "Tomoe, as you call them."

Wong Yazhu blinked, her head snapping up. "Eh?" Yun Ho nodded. "EHHHH!?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~Author's Note~~~~~~
Question about the Sharingan: Should the Mangekyō Sharingan be unlocked through trauma like the show or through rank? I feel like Rank would stay true to the Douluo Dalu world but I don't know.
Question about the Tenseigan: [From the Wiki: Tenseigan can be acquired when an Ōtsutsuki is implanted with the Byakugan of a Hyūga: this combination of the two clans' chakra transforms the Byakugan into Tenseigan.] So, how will the Tenseigan be unlocked? Eating the Chakra Fruit turn one into an Ōtsutsuki, so should I make it so that the 100,000 years old fruit the God Tree creates will be a Chakra Fruit(of course, the chakra fruit won't grant chakra. I don't want to bring in another power system...Should it?). Or should it be 1,000,000 years when the Chakra Fruit is formed?
Now, for Rinnegan: Amenotejikara, Animal Path, Asura Path, Deva Path, Human Path, Limbo, Naraka Path, Outer Path, and Preta Path. These are the '9' Rinnegan abilities. Should the mc unlock it alphabetically like its listed or should I use spin the wheel? Planning on using alphabet.
