Chapter 27

The next day...

Addy woke up feeling refreshed and happy. On getting to the office, he instructed Leo to send a bunch of roses and thank you card he picked himself to Eva's office. He would have gone to deliver it himself, but his schedule is packed.

Leo did as he was instructed, and decided to send Lilian a fresh flower as well since he didn't get the chance to see her the previous day.

The day went on smoothly, when it was lunchtime, Addy and Leo were about to go out to get their lunch, when Clara arrived at the building. She told the front desk to tell Addy shes here, and that his mother had sent her.

Addy approved that she can come up to his office, as she entered, she revealed a packed lunch she had prepared herself.

"I brought you lunch," she said with a big smile

"I hope you haven't eaten yet?" she continued as she placed the food on the table

Addy was just staring at her and was wondering if doctors have these luxurious time. Leo was also surprised but he didn't say anything. She turned to Leo and stretched her hands to introduce herself once again properly.

"Hi, I'm Dr Clara, Addy's girlfriend, I hope we get along" She smiled

Leo almost choked on his saliva

"Wow" that's all Leo could say and he thought 'how bold, I don't think she knows the true colour of this handsome beast'

Addy kept his straight face, but deep down, he's furious but he can't waste his energy on her, she can believe whatever she wants to believe.

All the advantage she has is because of her father, if not, whenever she sees him she will run as far as she can.

"Didn't you say my mother sent you?"

She lied but, she had called his mother early and she vented to her that Addy promised to stay at the mansion till the end of the week, but he didn't come back yesterday.

"Erm yes, she said you didn't come home last night"

"And how is that your business?" he said with a firm tone

She shivered at his tone.

"Well she sent me to check up on you and she was worried you haven't had proper food, so I brought you some food. You can share it with Leo" she tried to persuade him to eat the food but Addy shut her off.

"Thanks for your concern, but I'm not eating your food so you can start packing them" as he points to the food on the table.

"Erm... are you available this weekend?" she asked. Addy didn't respond or even looked at her

"I'm free this weekend, if you don't mind we can go on a date" she continued nervously

"I'm not, anything else," Addy asked with a stern face, she couldn't reply

"If there's nothing else, you can leave now"

Addy told her to leave.

She was so disappointed, but she had no choice but to leave at once.

Addy told Leo to order food from the restaurant they order from...

Meanwhile at a rural location far from City X...

Sara has a photoshoot with a brand that does cowboys outfit... They arrived at the location the previous day and they are leaving the next day.

After the first section, the director called a break. As Sara was about to enter her celebrity van, she got a phone call

"I'm done. I've forwarded the information to your phone, you would be surprised" her ex-boyfriend chuckled and hanged up the call before she could reply.

Immediately she went on her phone to check the information but to her surprise, she saw Leo's pictures and with anger, she threw her phone which made it crack.

'oh this botch is really asking for it, and I will show her who the boss is'

The information her ex-boyfriend sent included Lilian's address and workplace.

Her manager was already used to her anger issues. She told her manager to get out that she wants to make a private call. Her manager got off the van.

She reached for her handbag to take an old phone, and she dialled the number she called previously

"I've got a job for you, and I want you to do a clean job" she spoke in a commanding tone.

"Yes ma'am" a husky voice replied

"I will forward the information to you by the end of the day, I want the job is done by the weekend" she continued

"Ok consider it done"

She hanged up and she made an evil laugh.

'I was nice to you now that period his over bitch'

After she had calm down, She called Leo to check up on him and put up her lovey-dovey act, but deep down, she wished Leo would just forget the name, Lilian.

Sara's dad is a retired military man that people fear a lot and she is the only child which was spoilt, all the crimes she has committed was not recorded not to talk of getting the required punishment.

And she has the gangs and thugs at her disposal, because she had threatened some of them, and some her just loyal to her because of her beauty and stature.
