James' eyes were trailing them while they running into the forest but unexpectedly he felt Pressure in the atmosphere around him ... Wendy

Both Wendy and James look at each other for few moments, others were still trying to search the portal behind them that disappeared a few minutes ago, They couldn't bear suffocating air around them like the other two guys who ran into the Gloomy forest without thinking which beast they are about to face.

" Your friend was most likely dead by now "

Wendy smiled coldly " I hope you will survive this slaughter"

Wendy made an ice blast on her hand and with the blink of her eyes tosses at James. James' eyes widen as he ducked for attack moving back words in return throws a fireball. wendy created an ice wall in front of her and blocked his attack with ease

" What the hell " James startled after her first attack but again he counter-attacked with a fireball " That guy was running behind Don was he with you? "

James glared at Wendy as he recognizes the crisis going around them but one question popped into his mind why?

But before they continue their battle A terrible Chanting voices began coming from the forest, It's felt like lots of people were chanting something in an unknown language, James and wendy didn't affect by that voice but others E and F-ranked heroes fell to their knees and started mourning, crying scratching their skin in brutal manners nearly blood appears out of their cheeks and skin where they dug their nailheads

James and wendy froze in terror as they don't know what's transpiring in front of their eyes but besides that, they couldn't able neglect chanting voices in their ears

Lower ranked heroes weren't making any voices after torturing themselves for a few minutes and blood started coming out of their eyes

All of them sat up turning their attention to Two highly ranked heroes with that they also began attacking each other

James and wendy prepared to protect themselves from low ranked heroes but they realized that E ranked heroes were struggling to fight back to that voice but F ranked heroes almost Consumed by Anger and hatred

" No don't kill them, we just have to -"

But before James could be able to continue One of the F-ranked heroes was take off from the ground and jumps on James like a beast was attacking his prey, James managed to subdue that guy and with a punch, that guy was knocked out.

Don was hiding in the tree as he saw Gabriel whisk past that place, Don could sense something was off so he decided to deal with him at the right time

after few moments he Jumped on the ground. looking around and making sure Gabriel was not in the area he decided to head towards his main goal.

suddenly he heard disembodied chanting voices coming from the specific direction of the forest nonstop, Firstly that voice made him shiver as he learned that because of that voice he lost his sensing and hearing capacity from afar. He could only able to hear or sense few distances away from him unlike before. he turns back to escape but he saw Gabriel walking towards him with slower steps

" Thanks to this fucking voice I was stopped and decided to turn back " Gabriel Lets out in a loud tone," I thought I lost you, my old friend"

" What do you want? " Don came in battle stance but did not summon his dagger.

"I want you dead "

the serious expression could be seen from Gabriel's face, but one thing Don doesn't understand why a Good friend of Scarlett wanted him dead, Amidst his pondering He remembered that maybe he came after him for a dagger so Don decided to hide his dagger in his inventory and if things would go worse then he would have no choice but use it.

" Your facial expressions changed buddy, do you remember the First time when we met you, you almost surprised me but after that day of your result I pretty disappointed " Gabriel steps forward Staring into his eyes

Don was stunned after hearing his words as he began pondering when did he offend someone powerful, he was just minding his business until now except for an encounter with Amy from a dragon clan. that day Don was just Insulted her because she first insulated him not once but many times, Don was reasoning in his mind as he thought that she dispatches D rank hero to kill him for an insult ...Wow what a ...

Don was lost in his thoughts but quickly came back to his senses after Gabriel's fist Hit hard and he flew away in distance like a broken Kite

Gabriel was stumbled back spitting blood from his mouth and glared at Don " Is this all you got? "

Don punched him on the face but As his fist connected with his jaws he felt like he was hitting a rock, again they started attacking each other at a rapid pace

Don was struggling to maintain his speed as he was trying to use Gabriel's momentums against him, only one thing was going on in Don mind that ' this guy is no joke, He was stronger as well as faster than me '

Don was hesitating as he thought He might be lying ... but before coming to any conclusion he decided to hear him or at least in the meantime he will recover his stamina back " I am listening..."
