Gideon tamped down the hungry growl that rose in his throat. Leaning down, he caught the blood with the tip of his tongue and licked a path back up Jesse’s body.
The sound Jesse made was definitely not one of protest. He gasped, his back arching slightly off the pew. His flesh throbbed against Gideon’s mouth as his heart began to race, the blood tantalizingly close to the surface. The smell of Jesse’s arousal was almost as enticing as the rich aroma of his blood as Gideon’s tongue moved closer and closer to the cuts.
At the first edge of ragged torn skin, Gideon clamped his mouth over the injury and sucked. His fangs were retracted, but he didn’t need to bite to get a steady stream across his tongue or down his throat.
