Natsuki

Hikari was using some of his magic to fix the desk, fix the classroom and clean it, he was early to early so he was doing this, as he close his eyes and thought about this Verison of him self

Hikari spoke to him self. "I fool, that is what this Verison of me was, a hopefully dreamer that only trained his physical body but not magic, he siad he wanted to the wizard king, I hopefully dream but one that well fail"

He finished as then his eyes moved to the door, as he saw a certain pink hair girl with twin tail, the moment he did he wears a mask

Hikari spoke on a fake joyful voice that he was know for. "Good morning Natsuki".

Natsuki just looked at him. "Your up today idiot".

Hikari chuckled, maintaining his mask of fake cheerfulness. "Yeah, figured I'd be productive for once. Thought I'd clean up before everyone else got here."

Natsuki rolled her eyes, stepping further into the classroom. "Don't think you're impressing anyone by showing up early and pretending to care."

Hikari's smile didn't waver, though internally he sighed. "I'm just trying to help, Natsuki."

She crossed her arms, clearly not buying his act. "You're always like this. You act all nice and happy, but I can tell it's fake. You're hiding something."

Hikari's smile faltered for a split second before he regained his composure. He hadn't expected her to call him out so directly. "Hiding something? Me? You're overthinking things."

Natsuki narrowed her eyes. "Maybe. But I'm not stupid."

There was a long pause, with Hikari staring back at her. She was sharp, sharper than most people gave her credit for. Hikari realized that this Natsuki wasn't like the one in his memories—this version of her could see through the cracks in his façade.

He shrugged, still trying to maintain a carefree attitude. "Well, I guess you'll just have to figure me out then."

Natsuki huffed, turning to walk to her desk. "You're annoying, you know that?"

Hikari gave her a grin, though inside he felt conflicted. "Yeah, I get that a lot."

As Natsuki settled into her seat, Hikari finished fixing the classroom and sat down as well. He glanced at her, his mind racing. "She's going to be a challenge," he thought, "but maybe that's not such a bad thing."

For the first time in a while, Hikari felt a small flicker of something—something real. He wasn't sure what it was, but it made him curious about how this new version of his life would unfold, especially with Natsuki around.

Hikari then looked at her. "So what makes you say I am faking, last time I checked your magic isn't mind reading, and you sure don't know to read the room"

Natsuki shot him a sharp look, clearly not amused by his comment. "You think you're clever, huh?" She crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, her eyes narrowing slightly. "You might be able to fool the others with that fake cheerful crap, but not me."

Hikari raised an eyebrow, genuinely curious now. "Oh? And what gives you that impression? You can barely stand me half the time."

Natsuki huffed, her expression turning serious. "It's in the way you talk, the way you act. It's like you're wearing a mask all the time. Your smile never reaches your eyes, and honestly, it feels... empty. And anyone who's always trying that hard to seem happy? There's something wrong."

Hikari went quiet for a moment, surprised at how accurate her read was. She really was more perceptive than he gave her credit for. But he wasn't about to let her see through him that easily.

"Well, maybe I'm just that kind of person, Natsuki. Not everyone wears their heart on their sleeve," Hikari said, still holding onto his fake grin.

Natsuki scoffed. "Sure, keep pretending. But trust me, one day you're gonna slip up, and I'll be there to call you out." She turned her gaze away from him, clearly done with the conversation.

Hikari leaned back in his chair, watching her for a moment before turning his attention to the window. For the first time, he felt slightly unnerved. Natsuki wasn't going to let him hide behind his mask forever, and a part of him wasn't sure how long he could keep up the act.

"I guess we'll see," he muttered under his breath, feeling the weight of her words sink in.

Hikari then looked at her. "So did you managed to the reach the 6th tear spells or are you still stucked in 5th tear".

Natsuki just looked at him. "Says the guy who can't do higher spell them 3rd tear"

Hikari then said. "If you say so Nuclear blast".

A near by mountain some where got turned to dust, to anyone else they fell joy, excitement or anything, to Hikari it felt empty being god made to easy

Natsuki's eyes widened in shock as she turned to look at the horizon where the distant mountain once stood, now reduced to dust. Her usual sass was replaced by stunned silence for a moment before she regained her composure, her expression hardening.

"That was reckless, Hikari! What if someone saw you? Do you even care about the consequences?" she scolded, her voice rising in frustration.

Hikari just shrugged, his expression indifferent. "It's just a mountain, no one lives there. And besides, what's the point of having power if you don't use it once in a while?" He stared at his hand, the one that had just cast the spell, and as expected, he felt nothing. No satisfaction, no thrill. It was just... empty.

Natsuki clenched her fists. "You're such an idiot! You think because you're powerful, you can just do whatever you want? Magic isn't just some toy you use to show off!"

Hikari leaned back against the wall, his fake smile long gone, replaced by a blank look. "Magic, power, it's all meaningless anyway. Doesn't matter if it's 3rd tier or 6th. In the end, it's all the same—just a distraction from the fact that nothing really matters."

Natsuki stared at him, her anger fading, replaced by something like pity. "You really don't care, do you? About anything? Not even yourself?"

Hikari turned his gaze away, staring out the window. "Why should I? What's there to care about?.

Natsuki remained silent, unsure how to respond. She'd seen glimpses of the real Hikari before, but this was different. This was raw, detached, and almost... tragic.

"Maybe you should stop pretending for once," she said quietly, her voice softer now. "And figure out what you wanna do."

Hikari didn't respond, but her words lingered in his mind longer than he wanted them to.

Natsuki then looked at him. "Also I am telling the teacher a out this, like sense when did you started to have such a high mastery of magic"

Hikari just looked at her. "Why should I tell, also you will be keeping my secret".

Natsuki just looked at him. "I am, and I wi-".

As then she saw Hikari using items creation and he created a Hot dog, Natsuki mouth started to water as she took the hot dog and started to eat

Hikari just give her a smirk and giggle, and it was real. "So I got your secret also for how I got good with magic. He decided to tell the half truth. "I always had a talent for him, I was to fouces on training my body".

Natsuki glared at Hikari between bites of the hot dog, but it was hard to look intimidating with her mouth full. She quickly swallowed and shot back, "So, you were just holding back all this time? That doesn't make any sense. No one jumps from 3rd tier to casting a *Nuclear Blast* without some serious training."

Hikari shrugged, a casual smirk still lingering on his face. "Like I said, I always had the talent. Just didn't see the point of showing off before. It's not like being flashy gets you anything except a headache."

Natsuki raised an eyebrow, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "Uh-huh. And suddenly, out of nowhere, you're some magic prodigy. I'm not buying it. But whatever, I'm still telling the teacher."

Hikari leaned back, clearly unbothered. "You won't," he said, confident. "Because if you do, I might stop making those hot dogs."

Natsuki scowled but couldn't hide the slight blush of embarrassment. "Tch, whatever. Just don't expect me to cover for you next time you blow up a mountain or something."

Hikari chuckled, and this time, it wasn't the fake joy he usually forced. There was something about Natsuki's stubbornness that actually made him feel something close to amusement. "Deal. I'll try not to level any more mountains—unless I get bored, of course."

Natsuki gave him a side-eye. "I swear, you're impossible to deal with." But despite her words, there was a small smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.

Hikari glanced out the window again, his smirk fading slightly as he looked at the distant landscape, now missing a mountain. "Impossible? Maybe. But at least I'm not pretending anymore."

Natsuki then spoke. "And I gess you can become Wizard King finally"

Hikari just looked at her. "I am not going to become Wizard king".

Natsuki was taken a back, the kinds that in a daily based said he will become a wizard king, or say that he will be the greatest wizard and tell everyon, sure they weren't in the same class but thanks to Yuri she knew about and then was his daily failed propersal to Monika, her brain was trying to work, what happened to him what happened to the boy that was sunshine and rainbows.

Natsuki just looked at him. "Did someone in your family die"

Hikari looked at her, she was right someone did die, this Verison of him dead, but what should he answer her by, or allow her to make up her own answer

Hikari paused, thinking carefully. Natsuki's question was more on point than she realized, but the truth was something she could never understand. He could see the concern in her eyes, and despite their usual banter, she was genuinely confused by his sudden change.

He glanced down at his hands, the same hands that now held power beyond what he had before. But that boy—the hopeful, naive version of him—was gone. Hikari decided to let her believe what she wanted, at least for now.

He shook his head slowly. "No one died... at least, not in the way you're thinking," Hikari said, his voice quieter than usual. "Let's just say... I've changed. Dreams like being the Wizard King don't really matter to me anymore."

Natsuki narrowed her eyes, still not fully convinced. "You? The guy who wouldn't shut up about being the Wizard King? What could have possibly happened to make you just... give up like that?"

Hikari sighed. "People grow up. They realize some dreams are... pointless. Chasing titles, fame—it doesn't bring happiness. There's more to life than that."

Natsuki crossed her arms, clearly frustrated. "Since when did you become a philosopher? You're not making any sense."

He gave her a tired smile. "Maybe not. But trust me, Natsuki, I'm not the same person I used to be. And trying to be the Wizard King... well, let's just say I've got different priorities now."

She frowned but didn't push further. "Fine. Keep your secrets. But I'll be watching you, Hikari. You've changed, and not in a way that feels right."

As she turned to walk away, Hikari let out a small breath, relieved. He wasn't sure how long he could keep up this act, but for now, it was better than the truth. The truth was far more complicated than she could ever know.

Hikari then sat on his chair, Class started and he talked to Yuri, one thing was clear he had a whole Dating sim protagonist mixed with Anime Protagonist, he can live with the Anime one but no trh dating sim one, as then break time then came.

Hikari gut of. "Ok let's do this".

Eveyrone just looked at him and sighed, especially Yuri who knows what it means, Hikari walked out the class to find Monika the popular girl of this school, Yuri follows him Atlest try and save him from the embarrassment, as Hikari saw her, Monika head moved and saw him, as people got out of there class ready for the daily fail proposal.

Hikari looked at Monika. "Monika can I ask you something".

Monika raised an eyebrow this was too normal, there had to something he was planing. "Oh this is a bit normal, go ahead ask it".

Hikari just looked at her. "I am sorry for asking you to marry me and I am here to tell I won't do it again".

Monika looker at him and sighed. "As I told you many ti-. She cut her self of as she just blinked and looked at him. "I am sorry I think I miss heard".

Let's just says everyone watchibg then was both shocked, Confused and a mix of both, and not just that purely and utterly dumfounded
