Town Core

Draven and James had walked through the barrier and were now walking along the road toward the Town square. There were no guards posted no one selling items they had crafted or people lugging in resources to trade. The Town looked void of life. "Where is everyone?" Draven asked looking at James. "Maybe they evacuated after you told them you were coming? If they are level 10 or under they can still go back to their Novice Village after all," James answered. "But how could they just leave the town unprotected? They won't have anywhere to go after they hit 11," Draven asked shocked by the situation. "Maybe they don't know that yet?" James said. "We only found out after you tried to reenter Novice Village after hitting 11." He continued. "I don't know Dad this doesn't add up I don't believe they evacuated after coming here so soon," Draven said as he lifted his foot and slammed it into the stone road causing a loud boom to sound throughout the Town as he cracked the stone underneath his feet.

Suddenly many windows to various buildings opened and people struck their heads out to see what was going on. After seeing Draven and James some looked intrigued as they hadn't seen someone with their features yet while others looked annoyed for having been disturbed but no one seemed scared at all that strangers were strolling through their town. Both James and Draven were shocked at this revelation. "Craig would have had a field day here," James said. "That's If he even realized people were here before reaching the mayor's office." Draven snorted in response. "Let's get this over with and give these people a reality check they can be happy we're taking over if they think they can survive like this," James said looking almost disgusted at the situation. These people looked like they were on vacation taking an off day in their new homes. And James knew there was no such thing as a day off when you're trying to survive.

They both picked up the pace and walked through town straight towards what seemed like town hall and entered the main doors. They then walked upstairs as if they owned the place when someone called out. "Jordan we have visitors," A female voice rang out from above. A tall and slim woman with bunny ears wearing a white dress with a sunflower print came down the steps to greet them. Her face turned pale once their eyes met as they were halfway up the stairs. "JORDAN!" She screamed in a desperate cry for help without James or Draven having done anything yet. Draven scanned the Bunny-Woman.

Amber Mills

Race: Human, Rabbit

Level 8 Healer

Health: 950

Mana: 410

Before Draven could even say anything a roaring flame came flying down the corridor and down the stairs. Draven could clearly see a person within the flames as he was preparing to roundhouse kick him in the face. Draven caught the kick with his bare hand and squeezed until he heard his femur crack.

"AHHH FUCK IT HURTS!" He cried out in pain. "Amber Run away!" he called out to her. Draven had enough of this act and just walked past them. "Hey, where are you going!" He yelled at Draven. Draven ignored him but he did take a moment to look at the man covered in Flames scanning him.

Jordan Mills

Race: Human, Fire Spirit

Level 11 Fighter

Health: 1460

Mana: 1750

"Another Spirit you could be useful after you stop being useless," Draven said as he took the last step to reach the top of the stairs. He could see doors quickly opening and a couple more people came rushing down the corridor. Draven activated Draconic Aura and they immediately jumped backward sensing danger as they pressed their bodies against the walls not wanting to come any closer to Draven. He waltzed right past them and went to open the mayor's door but it was locked as he didn't have access to this room. Draven kicked the door and it flew off its hinges. Inside the room, he saw a familiar terminal and he placed his hand on it.

<We have a couple of different options here Draven. We can either take over this town and the possibility to build portals that connect towns belong same person. Or we remove Iron Core merge it with ours turn our Town into Bronze Town. The size Ironforge will triple many new buildings be available for purchase in Catalog.>

This was an easy decision this town was not that far away so he had no use in needing to teleport here. Perhaps in the future when he started to take over towns very far away would he consider keeping some towns in order to teleport around. But Sanctuary had no decent resources nor did it have a population he would trust to defend this place. These people were just waiting to die. "AL what will happen if I remove the core now?"

<The Towns Barrier will fall and all terminals other functions powered by magic cease to function.>

Can I remove objects such as Med Pods and have them installed in Ironforge? These were costly to buy he rather not waste them.

<Yes, these can be placed in storage and once you build a building that utilizes Med Pods they will used instead of new ones. The cost constructing then reduced.>

"Good that will be useful. Go ahead and remove the Core AL."

<On it... Core has been removed and placed in your Inventory.>

"OOOHhhhmmmm" The sound of several devices powering down could be heard throughout the Town. Draven then walked out. "What did you do Draven?" James asked perplexed as everything shut down. "It seems were meant to conquer other towns. By taking the core of this town we can upgrade ours to a Bronze Town and triple its size." He explained. James's eyes went wide upon hearing this. "That is good news it means we can upgrade our town instead of having to constantly move. I was wondering if we would have to eventually leave to find the next-ranking town at some point." James was ecstatic he didn't want to have to move again they were in a good spot. "Yeah another mystery solved. Can you go and heal the human torch on the steps? We need him to gather the people, I would rather have a smooth transition of power." Draven asked.

"I agree that would be best," James said nodding as he walked over to Jordan. "Don't come near me!" He yelled out as he flung a ball of fire at James. James didn't even bother dodging as he was highly resistant to fire. Jordan looked at him in shock as he saw an attack that would burn a goblin to ashes just roll off that man's body like it was nothing. "I'm going to heal your leg. We have taken this Town over and your people are coming with us to Ironforge if you and your people want to survive it's best you take our offer and join our town. We won't ask again. This town is now useless and no longer has a barrier, working terminals, or even running water. James placed his hand on Jordan's leg and his broken bone started to mend and heal back to how it was before.

"So he's Draven then? I didn't actually think you knew where we are! How did you guys find that out? He said pointing towards Draven. "Dont worry about that. You said you wanted answers I have answers. I know who did this to us and partially for what purpose. I am the strongest Human among us survivors and that gap in strength will only increase. Draven said looking around at the others daring them to challenge his words. When no one spoke up he continued. "I will build a singular organization that will encompass all of humanity to fight against them. There will be no other options available. I will take every single town over that I can find. Either get with the program and help us save humanity or leave and survive on your own without contributing to anything. I don't care either way. But you will go out there and call for a town meeting and tell them to come with us. They are weak in mind and body. They need us to learn how to survive and grow stronger. They need a reality check." Draven said and they all had a look of agreement on their faces they clearly knew how lazy those people were.

"Preferably a BootCamp." James chimed in "No guards at the gate no one out and about trading monster parts or looking for groups to level up. We thought you all evacuated when we walked into your town. If we had bad intentions you all would have been dead within minutes. All of you can be happy that it was us to take over. Anyone else would have slaughtered you all in your homes before you could scream for help." James concluded with a grim expression. Jordan sighed "We tried to get people to stand guard but no one wanted to do it if they weren't getting paid to. We don't have any excess money to pay them so that was that. They also figured that nothing could attack them with the Barrier much like how it was in Novice Village. So no one even saw the point in having to stand guard." Jordan said shrugging he seemed to have given up there was nothing he could do against these two and what they said was true if they wanted to kill them then they would be dead. There was no point in fighting back and if they were willing to whip those people into shape so they can take care of themselves, then he was more than willing to help just to see the show. "If you guys are truly here to take everyone to Ironforge and help us grow stronger then I will talk with them it's not like they have much of a choice anyways since the barrier is down." He said standing up. Now that his leg was healed he could move again.

"Good choice," Draven said as he walked past him down the stairs. Everyone else followed to leave Townhall. People were already forming in front of the building panic was written all over their faces. "Jordan do something!" A woman cried out. "We knew you couldn't handle being the Mayor now look at what happened!" A large burly wolf man yelled. The Barrier is down we are all going to die! someone screamed from the back of the crowd." Every time Jordan wanted to say something someone would interrupt him and with every word said to him he would look more and more depressed.

"ENOUGH!" Draven roared while activating Draconic Aura and spreading his wings for effect. Everyone was immediately still, some had even fallen backward due to fear. "I am Draven leader of Ironforge another Iron town to the south. I have taken control of the Town Core of Sanctuary and will use it to turn my Iron Town into a Bronze Town. You are all so selfish and entitled that no one stood guard to protect your new home from invaders. We simply walked in and no one even questioned us. If it weren't for your leader Jordan you would all be homeless now and have to live outside or go back to Novice Village but that will only last a short while since after you hit level 11 you will get kicked out of there too. But due to his efforts, he has convinced me to take you all in. My town is thriving and everyone there does their part and works hard daily to ensure our survival I will expect the same from all of you. I can promise everyone to have a fair chance to start over but I expect everyone to fight and level up. No one is a lazy piece of shit in my town." Draven said while throwing Jordan a bone.

Ironforge is a long distance to the south I suggest you all take my offer as this is a one-time deal i will not come back to come and get any of you later nor will any of you be allowed free citizenship if you manage to make the trip to my town later on either. So make your decisions now to become productive members of a new society and help with the survival of humanity or be left to die out in the open. Iron Town's are few and far between you won't find another one that easily. And even if you did it wouldn't take long for me to take that over as well. He said as a matter of fact.

"All of those who decide to accept my generous offer, pack your shit and be ready to leave within an hour. Anyone not ready at that time is being left behind." Draven stated. "Who made you the new boss? You might be the leader in your town but we have the advantage in numbers here! You can't tell us what to do. We will just kill you and take our core back and then we... Draven created a non-lethal ball of air and slammed it against that man who was sent flying across the street breaking through the wall of a building and getting buried by the rocks falling on top of him. "Anyone else have anything stupid to say to me?" Draven asked looking around. No one said a word. "Good, you have 1 hour to meet me at the Southgate." He stated as he made his way there to begin preparations to transport all these people. He made sure to stop by the infirmary to throw the Med Pods in his inventory as he walked past it. "How do you plan to take them all back with us?" James asked. "I don't think even you can make a flying brick that big and fly that far for so long." James said genuinely curious as to how Draven was going tp pull this off.

Draven had a much larger mana pool now than he used to so he probably could make a flying brick big enough for everyone and if he used Psionic magic to pick it up and fly it would cost significantly less mana to do than using wind magic to keep it in the air. The problem was he had no idea how much mana it would cost to lift over 2000 people on a slab of earth. This was new territory for him. "AL what do you think will my mana reserves be able to handle a flying brick that size with so much weight?" He asked AL.

<It shouldn't be a problem if you use Psionic Magic instead of Wind but should focus on learning different types magic such as light or dark can create flexible shapes with that which would have made for better aircraft than slab earth. Your engineers need to level up well seeing the Ten'ok designed all this requiring conquer other towns I only assume they provide blueprints flying transportation vehicles.>

Draven couldn't disagree with that he would check and see who was the best engineer after he got back and see if he could make something more useful. Draven would like to do it himself but he can't find the time to focus on his professions. Perhaps he needed to start delegating things to other people.

"I can do it with a Flying Brick I'll use more efficient magic to make it fly and I have greatly increased my mana pool so I'm not worried. Draven said answering James' question. "If you say so," James said shrugging he was excited to see him pull it off but he definitely was not going to get on that death trap. He could fly so it wouldn't be a death trap for him but he didn't want anything to do with it if 2000 people we sitting on it.

Draven began to shape the flying brick. He made it oval in shape and created half walls so people wouldn't get the urge to look down or fall off easily. He wasn't going to add seats in as that would just increase the overall weight needlessly. This was a large structure and creating seats would make it even larger. AL gave him a hand with the dimensions as well making the construction even easier. After the hour was almost up Draven looked around and saw the majority of the village standing there. They were all nervous and looked like they didn't want to do this at all but Draven didn't care. After a few weeks, they will have adjusted to their new lives and see that it is better than how it was before. Those who didn't come would most likely die on the way back to Novice Village or die after they had to leave it. He had no faith that they would survive on their own but that wasn't his problem so long the majority showed up was enough for him.

"Alright everyone aboard the Jumbo Flying Brick. I don't have all day so get a move on," Draven called out. Jordan and his group were there as well and in a show of good faith entered the flying brick first. Soon after everyone else followed. Draven counted a rough estimate of 1900 people showing up which was more than he thought would come. Once everyone was boarded he covered the platform with Psionic Magic and lifted it in the air and did his best to keep it balanced. Draven then flew into the air and had the Flying Brick follow him as he made his way back to Ironforge.
